Imam calling for Jews to be killed in sermon at Montreal mosque draws police complaint

And get this, the "larger Larger Muslim community wants apology from mosque and wonders why controversial imam was invited to preach".

That's hilarious, isn't it?

From CBC:
A Montreal mosque is facing a police complaint and rebukes from the larger Muslim community after a video of an imam delivering a sermon in which he asks for Jews to be killed surfaced online.
The sermon took place at the Dar Al-Arqam Mosque in the city's Saint-Michel neighbourhood on Dec. 23, 2016. The video was posted to the mosque's YouTube channel three days later.
The imam in the video is Jordanian cleric Sheikh Muhammad bin Musa Al Nasr — he was reportedly an invited guest of the mosque.
In the video, the imam recites in Arabic the verse: "O Muslim, O servant of Allah, O Muslim, O servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him."
CBC independently verified the speech and its translation.
The controversial verse comes from a religious text known as a hadith, which interprets the words and actions by the Prophet Muhammad.
The hadith in question deals with end times and tells how stones and trees will ask Muslims to come and kill Jews hiding behind them.
The video was brought to the attention of B'nai Brith Canada, which filed a complaint with Montreal police on Monday.
The organization said it is totally unacceptable that a mosque would allow this to go on.
"This is inciting violence, and this is inciting radicalization," said Harvey Levine, regional director of B'nai Brith in Quebec. "It's against the law and has to be stopped," he said, adding that the complaint was filed with the Montreal hate crimes unit.
The president of the Muslim Council of Montreal, Salam Elmenyawi, wants to know why the imam was invited. He says the mosque should apologize. He added that the Dar Al-Arqam Mosque is not one of the more than 40 institutions the council represents.
Imam Ziad Asali of the Association of Islamic Charitable Projects told CBC Montreal's Daybreak Thursday that he was also mystified as to why the cleric was invited to preach.
"I do not understand how this person was invited to come and give a sermon and spread this hatred in Montreal against any community," he said.
The hadith is one of more than 100,000 that are written in many books, some of which are considered authentic, while others are not, said Asali.
"To use the themes of the Prophet to spread hatred is actually something that is disrespectful towards the Prophet himself," Asali said.
Hadith are classified as strong (sahih), good (hasan), or weak (daeef).

The verse the Imam was quoting is Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 56, Number 791.

That means it is considered a STRONG Hadith.

In other words, the Hadith the Imam quoted is considered reliable by Muslims.

Indeed, this Hadith is quoted in the Hamas Charter.

The head of the Muslim Council of Montreal, Salam Elmenyawi, has invited a Fatwa on his head for having criticized Sheikh Muhammad bin Musa Al Nasr.

It will be interesting to see what happens from here. Likely, the Muslims of Montreal will attempt to sweep this under the rug and deal with it in private. But just as likely, the more devout Muslims who actually do adhere to real belief in their scriptures, will shout down the less devout.

In other words, extremism will ultimately rule the day.

Parsing the White House response to the FIASCO

From Politico:
“This is 100 percent a Ryan failure. His plan and Tom Price is his guy,” one senior administration official said after the bill was pulled.
IMO, that's BANNON

Another view:
“Trump feels like Ryan did everything right,” one senior administration official said. “He has no ax to grind with Paul Ryan. … He’s ready to move on to other things.”
My view? Ryan took a terrible strategy as far as it would go. And Lee refused to listen to Longstreet and take ground the Union would have to attack someplace else, instead he took his strategy as far as it would go.
A bad strategy perfectly carried out hardly ever succeeds.
A good strategy poorly carried out almost always gets the job done.

Fiasco – Ryan’s from start to finish

Since the Ocare replacement was only about 130 pages, I actually downloaded it when it was first  put up. First, the bulk of what I read had to do with Medicaid expansion, and freezing it then killing it over time. Then Planned Parenthood, but as I read on, it became clear that TO ME, the beating heart of what could make premiums cheaper, and increase available health care for all, the ability to buy any plan in any state, without some kind of canard like a limited set of doctors 10 miles of Pierce, Idaho, WAS NOT THERE.
We had to wait for a phase 2 or phase 3.
This struck me as trying to make peace in the Middle East by leaving status of Jerusalem and Right of Return for these two phases. We’ve actually seen such a process in operation in Oslo, and at Wye in 2000. We know the results.
We all also know that the only way Ocare was able to dictate a market was to guarantee the insurance companies a mandated incremental market size, and LEGALIZE the underwriting of proof of profit (bailout any losses). ‘We give you insurance companies 23 million new customers (12 million paying), and we guarantee you no losses in order to have you provide insurance’
Within 2 years here in Maine we had ONE insurer despite these guarantees, and one invented non profit, and the non profit went out of business. The bailout guarantee was removed and now Anthem lost $80m and wants out. I have no idea how many states, counties or parts of counties (which is how Anthem divided up this state) are in similar conditions.
Some of you may remember the mass of confusion when I tried to sign up for Ocare and found that the individual policy I could get thru my wife’s Anthem group was $978 for one, me. Since this was available, though unaffordable, there were no subsidies possible, and Ocare was $1378 for a much worse policy, AND the reason was that even though coverage could not be denied, the basic premium goes up as you get older until it is TRIPLED ( IOW – penalty for previous conditions as a theory of actuarial design).
Was the Ryan plan going to be better? WHO COULD KNOW? All I saw was tax credits to pick what was available in your state, and of course the choice was now MOOT. What happens to premium when there is a monopoly? DUH.
My conclusion was that it would take a GIANT LEAP of trust in PAUL RYAN and house leadership to vote yes. I don’t have that trust.
I don’t trust what Phase 2 and 3 MIGHT BE NEGOTIATED into being as the structure of the entire insurance industry (which underwrites 1/6 of the economy) came to bear on individual congressmen as they took the HUGE step of national insurance availability.
This was a strategically poor design, with so-so to decent tactics on the floor which NEVER had a chance because of it’s poor design and theory. That’s all on Mr. Ryan, frankly and those who helped him design as simpler kluge than Ocare.
We all know that Ryan is a free market ideologue (supposedly) and look at what he created. He wants open borders, he wants free trade, yet he created THIS?
I am glad this is dead, and I am not glad this is dead, but this fiasco is his.

You have to wonder if this is the political class simply in an inchoate manner to kill repeal and replace, and therefore kill a big enough tax cut to get to 4%+ growth and. hey, presidents come and president s go, and congress and its interests will be here in 2021 and Trump won’t be.

Virginia judge gives OK to new Trump travel ban

From Breaking 911:
A federal judge in Virginia on Friday declined to issue another injunction against President Donald Trump’s second travel ban.
The ruling by Anthony Trenga has no immediate impact, as judges in Hawaii and Maryland have already issued nationwide orders blocking Trump’s second attempt to limit travel from several majority-Muslim countries.
However, the ruling is a small victory for an administration that has been battered in court.
During a March 21 hearing on the case in federal court in Alexandria, Trenga asked whether Trump’s past statements about banning Muslims would forever outweigh “enormous deference” a president is supposed to receive in national security matters. In his decision, he decided they did not.
“The Court cannot conclude for the purposes of the Motion that these statements, together with the President’s past statements, have effectively disqualified him from exercising his lawful presidential authority,” the judge wrote.

North Dakota Comes To Its' Constitutional Senses

“Criminals carry guns, regardless of the laws. Permitless carry simply puts law-abiding gun owners on equal footing.”

NRA-Backed Permitless Carry Law Enacted in North Dakota

Fairfax, Va. -- The National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA) today thanked Governor Doug Burgum and North Dakota lawmakers for adopting a new law allowing law-abiding citizens greater flexibility for defending themselves. House Bill 1169 makes North Dakota the 12th state to adopt a permitless carry law that reduces the burden of government fees and mandates on citizens who choose to exercise their Second Amendment right to self-protection.
View Related Articles
“This new law gives North Dakota’s law-abiding citizens greater freedom to defend themselves and their families,” said Chris W. Cox, executive director of the NRA-ILA. “Criminals carry guns, regardless of the laws. Permitless carry simply puts law-abiding gun owners on equal footing.”
This reform allows North Dakotans to carry a concealed handgun without a permit. For those citizens who wish to take advantage of reciprocity agreements with other states, the existing permitting system remains in place.
“On behalf of the NRA’s five-million members, I want to thank Governor Doug Burgum and Representative Rick Becker, for supporting our Second Amendment freedoms in North Dakota," added Cox. “I also want to thank our NRA members and supporters in the state who emailed and called their lawmakers in support of HB 1169. This new law gives law-abiding North Dakotans greater flexibility to defend  themselves, their homes, and their families.”
Permitless Carry Facts:
  • Permitless carry does not change prohibited person laws or any law governing the misuse of a firearm (illegal brandishing, discharge, threatening, etc.).
  • Permitless carry does not change prohibited places where a firearm cannot be carried.
  • Permitless carry does not change the laws relating to when force may be used in self-defense.
  • Private property owners still maintain discretion over their own property, including whether and on what terms to allow firearms
Permitless carry laws do not lead to a “wild, wild west scenario” depicted by critics. There are three states that have enacted a similar law and for which sufficient public data is available for both the pre- and post-law periods: Alaska, Arizona and Wyoming.  Below are the facts for those states:
  • After Alaska adopted permitless carry in 2003, there was no increase in the number of murders, including those committed with guns – including handguns.
  • After Arizona adopted permitless carry in 2010, the percent of murders committed with a handgun decreased from an average of 60% per year to less than 50%. The percentage of murders committed with a gun of any type declined after the law was enacted.
  • Wyoming has historically had few murders and that trend continued after permitless carry took effect in 2011.

Diversity Is Our Strength

From Daniel Greenfield:
On Saturday, Ziyed Ben Belgacem pays a visit to Orly Airport in Paris. He grabs a female soldier from behind and grapples for her rifle while holding a pellet gun to her head. He warns the other soldiers to drop their rifles and raise their hands. He shouts, "I am here to die in the name of Allah ... There will be deaths."
He’s mostly right.
It’s the plural part he gets wrong. The soldier goes low. Her friends shoot him dead.
But he’s not entirely wrong either. There will be deaths. Even if they aren’t at Orly Airport. French Police go on to investigate the motive of the Tunisian Muslim settler.
His father insists that he wasn’t a terrorist.
The media rushes to blame drugs for his attack. It reports widely on the drugs in his system rather than the Koran found on his body. No one asks if he was on drugs or on Jihad. Ziyed Ben Belgacem had been in and out of prison.
He was known to the authorities as a potential Jihadist and had been investigated for “radicalization” back in 2015. He had been suspected of burglaries last year and had been paroled in the fall. The system had failed all over again.
Prince William and Kate had been in Paris meeting with victims of the Bataclan Islamic terror attack. They returned to the UK, but media reports emphasize that the latest attack wouldn’t change their plans. But the UK was no refuge from Islamic terror. Not even Westminster Palace was.
On Wednesday, Khalid Masood, a Pakistani Muslim settler, rents a car in a town near Birmingham from an Enterprise rent-a-car shop sandwiched between a Staples and a beauty salon offering walk-in eyebrow waxing.
Over a fifth of Birmingham is Muslim and by the time the bloodshed was over and Masood was in the hospital, police raided a flat over a restaurant advertising “A Taste of Persia”.
Because diversity is our strength.
Masood’s victims were certainly diverse. The men and women he ran over or pushed off Westminster Bridge included Brits, Americans, Romanians, Greeks, Chinese, South Koreans, Italians, Irish, Portuguese, Polish and French. That is the new form that diversity takes in the more multicultural cities.
The victims are diverse.
The killers are Muslim.

A Muslim Tried To Ram a Bunch of Pedestrians in Belgium Today

Mohammed Gargles Balls

Belgium: Muslim who tried to ram pedestrians had liquid gas, assault rifles and knives in car

A French Muslim has been arrested after trying to drive a car loaded with liquid gas, assault rifles and knives into a crowd at high speed on a busy shopping street in Antwerp.
Belgian police, who confirmed more security personnel had been sent to the area, said the car was being driven at high speed and that pedestrians had to jump out of the way to avoid being injured.
In the car, authorities said they found knives, a shotgun and a gas can with an unknown liquid and the case has now been taken over by officers who usually deal with extremist attacks.
It comes just hours after three people were killed in London by a terrorist who mowed down pedestrians and cyclists outside the House of Commons before stabbing a policeman to death.
Belgian police arrested a man named as Mohamed R, 39, on Thursday after he tried to drive into a crowd at high-speed in a shopping area in the port city of Antwerp at around 11am.
The suspect, who has not been confirmed as a Muslim but is named after the religion’s prophet and is said to be of North African dissent, was wearing camouflage when he was arrested.
Belgian security forces found a rifle as well as bladed weapons in a car driven by a Frenchman who tried to ram a crowd on Thursday in the port city of Antwerp. The federal prosecutor’s office also said bomb disposal units were on the scene to examine the vehicle.
‘Different arms were found in the boot – bladed weapons, a riot gun (rifle) and a container of liquid that is still unidentified,’ the federal prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
‘The suspect is Mohamed R, born on May 8, 1977, of French nationality and a resident of France,’ the statement said….

Fox News: Potential 'smoking gun' showing Obama administration spied on Trump team, source says

Last night, Midnight Rider and I were trading texts saying exactly this; that, given what Nunes outlined in his press conference yesterday, it sounded as if he had a smoking gun.

As this article from Fox News says, Nunes outlined everything in vague terms, but the outline he drew was four moves towards a checkmate, from what I could tell:

1) incidental collection of information

2) nothing to do with Russia

3) information specific members of the Administration from the time of the election to the time of Trump taking office

4) unredacted and unmasked in the reports

You put those things together, and you've got a crime, my friends:
Classified intelligence showing incidental collection of Trump team communications, purportedly seen by committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and described by him in vague terms at a bombshell Wednesday afternoon news conference, came from multiple sources, Capitol Hill sources told Fox News.
The intelligence corroborated information about surveillance of the Trump team that was known to Nunes, sources said, even before President Trump accused his predecessor of having wiretappedhim in a series of now-infamous tweets posted on March 4.
The intelligence is said to leave no doubt the Obama administration, in its closing days, was using the cover of legitimate surveillance on foreign targets to spy on President-elect Trump, according to sources.
The key to that conclusion is the unmasking of selected U.S. persons whose names appeared in the intelligence, the sources said, adding that the paper trail leaves no other plausible purpose for the unmasking other than to damage the incoming Trump administration.
The FBI hasn’t been responsive to the House Intelligence Committee’s request for documents, but the National Security Agency is expected to produce documents to the committee by Friday.
The NSA document production is expected to produce more intelligence than Nunes has so far seen or described – including what one source described as a potential “smoking gun” establishing the spying.
Some time will be needed to properly assess the materials, with the likely result being that congressional investigators and attorneys won’t have a solid handle on the contents of the documents – and their implications – until next week.
Here's how John Nolte put it at The Daily Wire:
Yes, Trump Is 100% Vindicated On Wiretapping Yeppers, I said 100% vindicated, and those who disagree are either being stubbornly hyper-literal about the word "wiretap," or the placing of a "physical wiretap," or Obama himself placing the wiretap, or standing by the point Ben Shapiro makes that Trump is still wrong because the surveillance was "incidental."
I'll touch on the "incidental" issue at length in the points below, but to immediately address Ben's argument, even if the collection was incidental, once the unmasking and dissemination of that "incidental" information occurs, that is the Obama administration illegally targeting Trump using surveillance, and that is the exact same thing as outright spying. And being illegally spied on was, of course, Trump's overall claim.
As far as the THIS WASN'T A WIRETAP nonsense, it reminds me of someone accusing a 70-year-old (Trump's age) of lying when he claims someone stole his record collection after the bad guy is found only with the old man's iPod. You said records! Where's the vinyl! Where's the vinyl! Where's the vinyl!

"The President has put in place an organization with the kind of database that no one has ever seen before in life," Representative Maxine Waters told Roland Martin on Monday. "That's going to be very, very powerful," Waters said. "That database will have information about everything on every individual on ways that it's never been done before and whoever runs for President on the Democratic ticket has to deal with that. They're going to go down with that database and the concerns of those people because they can't get around it. And he's [President Obama] been very smart. It's very powerful what he's leaving in place."

Data on 47 Hard Drives From Whistle Blower Proves Obama and Crew Spied on Everyone

From Conservative Treehouse and Gateway Pundit:

Freedom Watch notifies congress of a “Deep State” intelligence community whistle blower, Dennis Montgomery, with hundreds of millions of documents showing CIA and FBI and Intelligence Committees were spying on, and conducting surveillance on, American citizens for political purposes. Mr. Montgomery is trying to use a legal “whistle-blower” process and not follow the same approach as Edward Snowden.

The Name of the London Jihadist

I would like to personally thank everyone who has emailed me information on the London Jihadist. It is worth noting that he is ... and he has lived .... for ... years. Also, here is how he was "radicalised": .............. ....... ........ .... ... ...... ......

Other websites will fill you in on all the details.

For my part, I would just like to say, it doesn't matter to me much who he is, or how long he lived anywhere.

All that matters is he is a follower of Mohammed and a particularly devoted member of the Ummah.

That's it.

We need no further explanation.

Bob Woodward: Obama Officials Possibly Facing Criminal Charges For Unmasking Scheme

That's right:
The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward warned on Wednesday that there are people from the Obama administration who could be facing criminal charges for unmasking the names of Trump transition team members from surveillance of foreign officials.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., said earlier that he had briefed Trump on new information, unrelated to an investigation into Russian activities, that suggested that several members of Trump’s transition team and perhaps Trump himself had their identities “unmasked” after their communications were intercepted by U.S. intelligence officials.
The revelation is notable because identities of Americans are generally supposed to remain “masked” if American communications are swept up during surveillance of foreign individuals. During an interview on Fox News, Woodward said that if that information about the unmasking is true, “it is a gross violation.”
Someone gets it.

Muslim Appeals 40 Hours Community Service for Raping Child and Filming Assault

Ali was sentenced to 40 hours of youth service for the rape of children in a schoolyard. Both he and his parents are now challenging the judgment of the Court of Appeal.
16-year-old Ali was convicted in February of child rape after he pinned a 13 year old girl against a wall at Toleredsskolan in Gothenburg and forced her to oral sex.
The crime took place in July, 2016.
During police interrogation, the girl has told me that Ali was weird and nagged that he wanted to have sex. He pushed her against a wall and tried to pull down her pants several times. She says that she pulled up his pants and told him she was not interested.
Then he invited her to instead give him a blowjob until he arrived – otherwise she would not have come from there, explained Ali and pulled down his pants and underwear.
Ali then pressed down her head against his penis and raped her between 20 to 30 minutes. During the rape, he took out his mobile phone and filmed the assault, prompting the girl to ask him to put it away. Everything ended after Ali’s friend Mohammed arrived at the scene.
After the rape, Ali according to the judgment spread the film to other people “who began to speak ill of” girl. Despite this, Ali has not been convicted of either child pornography or defamation.
Gothenburg District Court in February sentenced Ali to youth and youth service of 40 hours for child rape. He must also pay 14,000 kronor, of which SEK 8960 jointly with his parents in damages to the girl. Documents Free Times noted the shows that Ali and his two parents have appealed to the Court of Appeal for Western Sweden.

Hill Republicans say they're growing frustrated with Mattis

From Politico:
The Marine general was welcomed as a moderating force in the Trump administration, but his moves to name Obama veterans to Pentagon posts are irritating allies in key committees.
Defense Secretary James Mattis’ unconventional choices for top Pentagon posts and his reluctance to aggressively push for dramatic increases in the defense budget have rankled Republicans on Capitol Hill who say he’s burning through political capital he needs as he begins reshaping the Pentagon.
Mattis was widely embraced on both sides of the aisle when President Donald Trump nominated him. Republicans and Democrats alike expressed hope that the retired four-star general would be a moderating force on the volatile commander in chief.
What's With Mad Dog? This Time He Nominates a Soros-Connected Think-Tanker for Key DoD Slot
Defense Secretary Gen. James Mattis wants to nominate a senior fellow at a Soros-funded think tank as undersecretary at the Pentagon, as the embattled Cabinet official continues to clash with the White House over prospective nominees. P
Mattis wants Rudy deLeon — a senior fellow at the far-left Center for American Progress (CAP) — to come on board as undersecretary for personnel and readiness. DeLeon previously served in the Clinton administration as deputy secretary of defense. During that time, Gen. Mattis served as his senior military assistant.

Politico: Govt Career Employees upset at sunlight on their political inclinations!

Conservative news outlets, including one with links to a top White House official, are singling out individual career government employees for criticism, suggesting in articles that certain staffers will not be sufficiently loyal to President Donald Trump by virtue of their work under former President Barack Obama.
The articles — which have appeared in Breitbart News, the Conservative Review and other outlets — have alarmed veteran officials in both parties as well as current executive branch staffers. They say the stories are adding to tensions between career staffers and political appointees as they begin to implement Trump’s agenda, and they worry that the stories could inspire Trump to try purging federal agencies of perceived enemies.
The claims posted on the conservative sites include allegations of anti-Israel and pro-Iran bias against staffers at institutions such as the State Department and the National Security Council.

Can you imagine, sunlight on the personal, financial, and therefore political interests of CAREER LONG govt employees (who might be interested in keeping their jobs, perks and finally 'empires' intact) is scaring some (vicious) snow flakes.
Quoted in Politico to demonstrate in a fair neutral fashion how unfair such things are one William Burns, now chairman of the Carnegie Foundation for Peace, and a lifetime career Foreign Service Officer.
This man was despised by John Bolton, and is personally responsible for STARTING the secret negotiations with Iran in Oman which led to the JCPOA treaty, and not only supported that treaty, but id so after years of supporting, in public a diplomatic solution PROVIDED sanctions were tough an continuous.
“It’s deeply unfair to single people out and question their loyalty,” said William Burns, president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and a former longtime diplomat. “It’s demoralizing for institutions. It’s demoralizing for professionals, and it’s offensive.”
Sunlight on people like you is precisely what is compulsory. If you don't like that and are insulted, go sell copies, or mow lawn or teach state history in junior high school. No one will examine your leanings or loyalties.
U.S. civil and foreign service officers have long been seen by Republicans and Democrats as the backbone of government
Yes, THE POLITICAL CLASS, Politico (that which YOU depend on for existence) ..feeling the heat in the Place de la Concorde, American style, yet?
Politico talked to some folks who felt the sunlight:
But one said the information being spread is unnerving, in part because even if Trump’s top aides don’t always believe the reports they read in the conservative press, they may still feel pressure to act from voters in the Republican base who do believe the accounts.
You mean the VOTERS? Seriously? These people whose salaries ARE taxes are concerned about their employers potentially having more information about them? Time to teach the history of the Powhatans around Chesapeake Bay before the hated, evil blancos arrived, to 8th graders.
I used to think these guys like Politico writers were simply unipolar political proponents who fit the facts into the corset of their dialectic. You read an article like this and you realize the universe IS their dialectic and they have NO IDEA how bigoted they are.
Just like the employees of ours whose fear of sunlight because our taxes ARE their living live in that same universe.

Christianity in Iraq is finished, says Canon Andrew White, 'vicar of Baghdad'

From Fox News:
He is one of the world’s most prominent priests, but Canon Andrew White – known as the “Vicar of Baghdad” – has reached a painstaking conclusion: Christianity is all but over in the land where it all began.
“The time has come where it is over, no Christians will be left. Some stay Christians should stay to maintain the historical presence, but it has become very difficult. The future for the community is very limited,” White told Fox News this week.
“The Christians coming out of Iraq and ISIS areas in the Middle East all say the same thing, there is no way they are ever going back. They have had enough.”
Thirty years ago, there were approximately 1.4 million Christians in Iraq. The number dwindled to around 1 million after the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003, and a year ago it was estimated that there were less than 250,000 left.
Numbers have continued to decline as families flee, and today even approximate figures are difficult to obtain.
“If there is anything I can tell Americans it is that your fellow brothers and sisters are suffering, they are desperate for help,” he said.
“And it is not just a matter of praying for peace. They need a lot – food, resources, clothes, everything. They need everything.”
For decades, Christians endured persecution in Iraq by hardline extremists as infidel “people of the book” – but their fate became significantly more dire in 2014 after ISIS overran Mosul and the many ancient Christian villages surrounding the city.
Thousands of families overnight were forced to flee their home, and while some have sought refuge in the northern Kurdish region, many have left the country altogether.

Devin Nunes Press Briefing on "Wiretapping/Monitoring/Leaking" of Trump Administration Communications

At the 7:00 minute mark, Nunes says,

"Bluntly put, the information I was able to view did not involve Russia, or any discussions with Russians ... None of it has to do with Russia."

Furthermore, Nunes makes it clear that

1) Intelligence agencies were collecting INCIDENTAL information (again, not related to Russia) on communications within the Trump Administration

2) they were "unmasking" this information, which means they were leaving the Trump Administration portions of conversation un-redacted.

This is a crime.

The only reason they should have ever allowed information to be unmasked, if it was collected incidentally, is if the incidental collection revealed a crime to have been committed by the Trump Administration.

The FBI Director, Comey, has already said the only investigation they had concerns with was Russia. So, why were Trump communications left unmasked?

Problem here is, it is probably somewhat complicated for general public to understand. Therefore, the Democrats maybe be able to drown this crime in a haze of obfuscatory blather.

Bullet points from Ace of Spades:

1. "I briefed the president on the concerns I had concerning the incidental collection of data."
2. The reports I was able to see did not have anything to do with the Russian ties investigation.
3. Reporter gets huffy and demands to know why he is briefing the president about this matter, as the reporter thinks Trump is a criminal and should not be told about the Legal Noose tightening around his gangster neck.
4. He answers that the reason is that from what he saw, the surveillance had nothing to do with the Russian investigation.
5. "Brings up a lot of concerns about whether things were properly minimized or not" (minimized = masking/redacting names of US citizens before disseminating)
6. "What I've read bothers me, and it should bother the President himself and his team, because some of it seems inappropiate."
7. "It definitely goes beyond General Flynn." "We don't know how [that name] was picked up [collected, intercepted]."
8. "So far the FBI has not told us if they're going to respond to our March 15th [request for additional information]."
9. "What I've read seems to me to be some level of surveillance activity, perhaps legal, but I don't know if it's right and I don't know if the American people would be comfortable with [it.]"
10. Press continues attempting to Save Obama by focusing relentlessly on whether there was a physical wiretap of physical phone lines.
11. Asked if Obama ordered the surveillance, he says only "we don't know" who was responsible for "the taskings." (Which I take to mean the orders to survey.)
12. Intelligence reports were scattered across "a whole bunch of other agencies"
13. "I was only able to see a few dozen" of the intel reports. Some do have some foreign intelligence value -- implied, some don't.
14. "I think the president is concerned -- and he should be."
15. Again, a reporter digs down on "wiretap," trying to justify the Trump Lies article he's already pre-written in his brain.
16. Asked if he can rule out the possibility that "senior Obama officials were involved in this," he says "No, we cannot."
17. Nunes says that the monitoring is itself less of the issue (he seems to think this was permissible, or could be argued to be permissible), but the unmasking of names in intel reports is what he finds concerning.
18. "Yes," he says, when asked if actual Trump team communications are included in the intelligence reports.
19. Who brought him the information? "Well I can tell you this -- we've been asking people to come forward, and they came through through the proper procedures" (i.e., in comportment with whistleblower statutes, I think he means)
20. He thinks it was legal collection, but then possibly illegal dissemination. I thnk he's also suggesting that given that most of the intercepted communications have no foreign intelligence value, our foreign intelligence collection agencies should not have been typing them up, analyzing them, and then disseminating them -- what our our foreign spy agencies doing spying on US citizens? Or typing up the "incidentally intercepted" conversations of US citizens, if those conversations have no foreign intelligence value? Are they spying on foreign threats -- or against political opponents? Note all those questions are not quotes; they're what I think Nunes is getting at.
21. Was it information monitored in real time, or was it captured, stored, then sifted through later? He says it happened "pretty quickly," i.e., near real time.
22. Press: "Are you attempting to give the president cover for his wiretapping claim?" Of course they ask this. He answers that many documents do not seem to rise to having any foreign intelligence value, which makes him wonder why US citizens were unmasked in the reports.
23. Says he can't get into the issues here too specifically, but suggests people look into the "incidental collection" of data on Congress last year, because that case is similar to this one.

House Intel Chair Confirms ‘Trump Transition Team Surveilled’ from Election Day to Inauguration

Nunes: “I recently confirmed that on numerous occasions the intelligence community incidentally collected information about U.S. citizens involved in the Trump transition. Details about U.S. persons associated with the incoming administration details with little or no apparent foreign intelligence value were widely disseminated in intelligence community reporting. Third, I have confirmed that additional names of Trump transition team members were unmasked. And fourth and finally I want to be clear, none of this surveillance was related to Russia or the investigation of Russian activities or of the Trump team.”

FBI Director Blasted by Democrats After Probe Revelation

From ABC News:
FBI Director James Comey's testimony that the bureau has been quietly investigating possible links between associates of President Donald Trump and Russian officials since the summer enraged Democrats who already blamed him for rattling the 2016 campaign's closing days.
For the first time, Comey confirmed that the FBI had opened a probe into the Trump campaign in July, the same month he called an unusual news conference to announce the agency had finished its investigation into whether Hillary Clinton mishandled classified information — and three months before he scrambled the White House race a second time by announcing that the Clinton probe was continuing, just days before the election.
The revelation drew the ire of Clinton supporters who called out what they said looked like a double-standard and a breach of bureau norms that caused their nominee's surprising defeat.
Clinton's former press secretary, Brian Fallon, bitterly noted that "Comey at least waited until after the election to confirm there was an investigation related to Trump's campaign."
It's all well and good that Democrats are angry with Comey for not reporting. It is his responsibility to report such information, and he typically does so within three months.

In this case, Comey did not report the ongoing investigation.

And, I think the reason Comey did not report the investigation is, IT WASN'T AN INVESTIGATION.

And the purpose of the spying campaign was to leak information that would hurt Trump.

And it was initiated by Barack Obama.

If you're the Director of the FBI, you can report an investigation. But you can not report that you are actively attempting to bring down a sitting President.

Trump is sending judges to 12 US cities to speed up deportations

From Business Insider:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The US Justice Department is developing plans to temporarily reassign immigration judges from around the country to 12 cities to speed up deportations of illegal immigrants who have been charged with crimes, according to two administration officials.
How many judges will be reassigned and when they will be sent is still under review, according to the officials, but the Justice Department has begun soliciting volunteers for deployment.
The targeted cities are New York; Los Angeles; Miami; New Orleans; San Francisco; Baltimore, Bloomington, Minnesota; El Paso, Texas; Harlingen, Texas; Imperial, California; Omaha, Nebraska and Phoenix, Arizona.
They were chosen because they are cities which have high populations of illegal immigrants with criminal charges, the officials said.

Kredo: DOJ Found ‘Malware Mimicking’ Ties Between Trump Tower Servers and Russian Entities

From The Free Beacon:
Washington Free Beacon senior writer Adam Kredo on Tuesday discussed the Department of Justice finding malware on servers for Trump Tower mimicking supposed Russian ties.
Kredo was talking with One America News Network’s Liz Wheeler about the FBI investigating the Trump campaign for collusion with Russian ties.
Kredo first said that the investigation should go on, before discussing a rarely mentioned point.
“It wasn’t very well reported, the Department of Justice revealed just last week that in fact some of these ties that they had witnessed between Trump Tower servers and Russian entities in fact, were stooged,” Kredo said.
Kredo went on to explain that malware may have been installed on these servers to mimick contacts with Russian entities in an effort to portray that the Trump campaign had the Russian contacts.

WATCH a Freshman GOP Congresswoman To Pull The Mask From FBI Director Comey…

From Conservative Treehouse:
FBI Director James Comey unmasked as a Deep State Black Hat Operative.
Representative Elise M. Stefanik is a young, freshman republican congresswoman from the Albany New York area. And using a probative questioning timeline, she single-handily pulled the mask from FBI Director James Comey, yet no-one seemed to notice.
Obviously Ms. Stefanik has not been in the swamp long enough to lose her common sense.
In the segment of the questioning below Rep. Stefanik begins by asking director Comey what are the typical protocols, broad standards and procedures for notifying the Director of National Intelligence, the White House and senior congressional leadership (aka the intelligence Gang of Eight), when the FBI has opened a counter-intelligence investigation.
The parseltongue response from Comey is a generalized reply (with uncomfortable body language) that notification of counter-intel investigations are discussed with the White House, and other pertinent officials, on a calendar basis, ie. “quarterly”.
With the statement that such counter-intel notifications happen “generally quarterly”, and against the backdrop that Comey stated in July of 2016 a counter-intel investigation began, Stefanik asks: …
”when did you notify the White House, the DNI and congressional leadership”?
Watch an extremely uncomfortable Director James Comey outright LIE… by claiming there was no active DNI -which is entirely false- James Clapper was Obama’s DNI.

The first and second questions from Stefanik were clear. Comey’s understanding of the questions was clear. However, Comey directly evaded truthful response to the second question. When you watch the video, you can see Comey quickly connecting the dots on where this inquiry was going.
There is only one reasonable explanation for FBI Director James Comey to be launching a counter-intel investigation in July 2016, notifying the White House and Clapper, and keeping it under wraps from congress. Comey was a participant in the intelligence gathering for political purposes – wittingly, or unwittingly.
