Like A Total Fucking Dumbass, Trump Congratulates Erdogan on Referendum Win Granting Him Virtual Dictatorial Powers

"I Want You To Know I'm An Idiot"

Trump does some really fucking dumb shit:
(CNN)US President Donald Trump has become the first Western leader to congratulate Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for winning a controversial referendum that grants him far-reaching, largely unchecked powers.
Trump called the Turkish leader on Monday shortly after international monitors delivered a harsh verdict on the referendum on constitutional changes. They found that the opposition campaign had been restricted and the media coverage was imbalanced, and that the electoral authority had unfairly changed the rules after polls had opened.
Trump joins a short list of leaders who have openly congratulated Erdogan, including Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Saudi King Salman.
His congratulations stands in stark contrast to the more cautious tone adopted by European leaders and a statement issued by the US State Department, which acknowledged the results but warned against further repression by the Turkish government of the political opposition.
If one scrolls down the page, one will see there are a lot of things I love about Trump.

But things like this, I hate. And I am not going to refrain from reporting, this kind of galactic stupidity, in exactly the same way I would report on it, if it were Obama.

Let us be frank: Obama would have done exactly the same thing, and we would have totally fucking TORCHED him for it.

We should do the same with Trump.

Erdogan should not even exist. In a sane world, there would be a revolution in the streets, and Erdogan would be hanging from a lamp post. But in this world, where Islam is considered a normal religion equal to the world's other major religions - when it fact it is a Satanic Political system - we have "leaders" like Erdogan.

Well, Al-Tamimi lived a stone's throw from one of the blog team members.

He also wrote virulently anti-West and pro-Palestinian rants.

Well I hear where your coming from on Erdogan.

But consider this:

The Turks have a post (failed) Empire mentality..... but they still long for the good ol' Ottoman days.

I've crossed swords with many of them on the internet over the years, and based on the ones I've ran across they seem to be uniformly anti-American. Jealousy I think is a big player in that.

So basically, I have no love for the Turkish people. I have similar feelings for the Venezuelans, Persians (another fallen Empire), and the Pakis..... to name just a few. Basically, I tend to dislike people that dont like me.

Erdogan's popularity (50%+) in Turkey is real. Especially the more religious rural folks. Venezuelans adored Chavez. The Iranian revolution enjoyed a popular majority. They're all a reflection of the people's will at one point in their rises to power.

Now those people are suffering the consequences.

The Turks will be the ones suffering the consequences tomorrow.

.... this is good actually.

At least I feel better knowing they are heading towards an oppressive Islamic dictatorship of their own choosing as opposed to integrating further into Western society.

I have the same instincts as you about what's good for Erdogan must be bad for us. But its not really, its bad for them ..... and that's really good for us as the current Empirical power.

There's an underlying deeply instilled notion in our westernized, Christianized, minds that we want everyone to enjoy the same trappings of freedom and democracy that we do ..... but those same people wouldn't piss on us if we were on fire. Their underlying mentality is that they want our Empire to fail like theirs did. They're just as interested in seeing us brought down to their level as they are in regaining their global wealth and influence.

So yes, Trump is as geo-politically aloof as we knew he was. But the Turks deserve an oppressive dictator.
