Attack on Borussian Soccer Team Bus WAS JIHAD: Letter Praising ISIS Discovered After Leading German Soccer Club Bus Attack – One Arrested

The Muslims Are Restless

From Fox News:
Borussia Dortmund’s defender Marc Bartra was injured in the incident, the team said. Dortmund said Bartra was “in safety” and that “there is no danger in and around the stadium.”
The chief executive of the team said Bartra was injured on the arm and hand when three explosions went off near the team bus.
Dortmund Chief Executive Hans-Joachim Watzke said the injuries to the Spanish defender Tuesday night are “nothing life-threatening.”
It was unclear what caused the explosions ahead of the first leg match between Borussia Dortmund and Monaco, which was later called off and rescheduled for Wednesday. Police in Dortmund said investigators “are working on the assumption” that the explosions that the team’s bus were caused by “serious explosive devices.”
Dortmund police said the devices that went off near the bus as German team Borussia Dortmund was leaving its hotel for a match Tuesday night “may have been hidden in a hedge near a parking area.”
From The Sun:
COPS investigating a bomb blast that shattered a German football team’s bus window and injured a player and a police officer have arrested an “Islamist” and another is being investigated.
Officers also revealed that the bomb had metal strips in it – and one of them was found embedded in a headrest on the coach.
An official said: “We can be happy that nothing worse happened. “We are treating this incident as a terrorist attack. An Islamic background is possible.”
“Two suspects from the Islamist spectrum have become the focus of our investigation.
Both of their apartments were searched, and one of the two has been detained,” said lead prosecutor Frauke Koehle.
Officials did not say where the suspect was detained but added that a decision would be made on whether to seek a judicial arrest warrant against him.
Cops initially found a letter claiming responsibility for the explosion - which saw Borussia Dortmund player Marc Bartra rushed to hospital and a match postponed - as "suspicious objects" were later found near the player's hotel.
Police now say three letters claiming responsibility for the attack, all of them citing that it was carried out in the name of Islam, have now been found.
