Regarding the Monk Debate...Simon Schama improperly compares prior generations of migrants & refugees (who came specifically to escape failed states & destructive social orders to adapt/assimilate to the adopted culture) to the current wave of migrants who refuse to assimilate, fully anticipate a leisurely lifestyle at taxpayer expense & have every intention of imposing their failed social orders upon the West.
