Way back in the era of Cruz-Bickle, I said until Trump EFFS up again

Donald Trump warned on Wednesday that his supporters would respond with “riots” if he fails to secure the nomination at July’s convention in Cleveland.
“I think you’d have riots,” Trump told CNN on Wednesday. “I think you’d have riots. I’m representing a tremendous many, many millions of people.”
WHAT? Excuse me, WHAT?
Just walk out, lead them out and don’t come back
Announce the formation of a self funded third party, for Senate and Congressional seats, and 2020.
The campaign NEVER stops anyway, and HRC is GUARANTEED to be more fucked up than Obama.

But RIOTS?

I remember 1968, and it was auto-NIXON for the USA.
So SHUT UP, Donald.
You do NOT have to respond to every belligerent poke of the stick by some of the “disgusting people”. You could have JUST SMILED and said nothing.

Maybe even shown a few teeth.

Agree, I think even Biden would have handled that better. Why play into the media's narrative?

I kind of agree with him.

If the the GOPe as we know it is not destroyed, then, next stop, Revolution.

Our system is a two-party system. How are we going to put a stop to the system with people who are in high positions of power who say stuff like THIS:

You could have JUST SMILED and said nothing.

The wiser path.

On the other hand, he is telling it like it is, IMO.

Maybe it is a warning as opposed to a threat.

Along these lines.

Epa, you know more about it than me. I have never felt this nation needed a Revolution before. I have always been for order.

Epa,
You write - In the 60's we paid A LOT of attention to alerting people to AVOID provocation, let alone violence.

I respond - Really? Well, what about the SDS, the Black Panthers, etc.?

Maybe when you talk about the 60's, you are referring to the Civil Rights Movement of the early days, led by Dr. King?

You write - This is about MINDS recognizing that Trump's IDEAS are the best CHANCE THEY have.

I respond - THAT'S a frightening idea, but sadly it is true, at the point.

You write - Counterpunch is a whole other issue.

I respond - I feel like attempting to take away the will of the people is a reason for counterpunch.

Again, though, you know better than I on this subject. I am a hothead, and you've been through it before.

I'm talking about what I was personally present for. 68, Viet Nam, Kent State/Cambodia demos, Woodstock (yes, I WAS THERE and I thought my jewish mother paged me thru wavy gravy on stage, but it turned out the manager of a band has the same name as me, and I actually went down to the stage from where we were, high out of my mind, and yelled "IT'S MY MOTHER ISN'T IT", and they yelled back, 'no but we have to move your amps')

SDS, Panthers, H Rap Brown, all those pricks .. how did they all come out?

PUBLIC ENEMIES

Epaminondas said...

and YES, counterpunch reasoning is correct.

Reactionary forces usually are not PROPORTIONAL

Pastorius said...

Heh.

That's an amazing story about Woodstock. I hadn't known you went to that.

You should write something on that for us. It would be fun.

Who was your favorite band?

There will be violence, and it will not be started by the Trump people, although as somebody mentioned in this thread, any nut can start a riot.

I say there will be violence, because Moveon.org is already saying there will be. And the monster behind pushing the movement is none other than hate himself. Soros is a sick individual, finishing the job the Third Reich was unable to finish. Destroy GB and the US. Soros already broke the Bank of England, and as he has said, he will do the same with the dollar. He is a sick soul who in spite of his power his only goal is to destroy, not to build. He said building something is boring. Bringing something down is a lot more fun.

RightWingNews: Rubio THREATENS a “reckoning” for conservatives who support Trump This happened on Monday, and it was a radio hit Marco Rubio did on the Mike Gallagher Show. The clip goes about four and a half minutes and it’s a pretty damning indictment of Trump starting with the Corey Lewandowski-Michelle Fields mess and going forward with the oft-mentioned #NeverTrump movement and his potential membership in it. And it’s Rubio’s contention that if the conservatives who make up the bulk of the Republican Party’s voters allow Donald Trump to get the nomination, there will be a major wakeup call when they find out what they’ve bought.
