To be fair, the Pastor MAY have been attempting to make a larger point here, that the Bible INITIALLY numbered homosexuality as one of the worst sins, but that Jesus' sacrifice atones for all.
There could have been more to the point, indeed.
But introducing a candidate wishing to be the next President of the United States is probably not the time to get into tricky Theological distinctions.

1. If he is the nominee he will lose to Clinton
2. At this point I believe our only solution is
Trump, but doubt he will be able to survive the
campaign both the right and the left have
against him.
3. Clinton will be the next president unless she
is indicted in time to have Uncle Joe nominated.
