Answering your last question, they are doing the same our own McCain and Graham did pressing al Sissi's government to release Morsi, doing Obama's bidding. In this case, the Europeans are only concerned about their money making machines, regardless of the effects on the world. Same here in the US. Those in favor are only interested in opening McDonald's and Starbucks in Tehran and Havana.
