Congressional Candidate who said “Islam is not a religion, it’s a complete geopolitical structure and, as such, does not deserve First Amendment protection,” wins in Georgia!

From Bare Naked Islam:
Republican candidate Jody Hice easily won his congressional seat in Georgia’s 10th U.S. House district, supported by voters who agree with his position that the First Amendment’s guarantee of religious liberty does not apply to followers of Islam. Raw Story
“Although Islam has a religious component, it is much more than a simple religious ideology,” Rev. Jody Hice wrote in his 2012 book It’s Now Or Never, according to Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
“It is a complete geo-political structure and, as such, does not deserve First Amendment protection.” The new congressman also believes the Muslim Brotherhood is infiltrating the United States in a plot to impose Sharia law on the entire country, a theory he shares with Reps. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) and Louie Gohmert (R-TX).
Hice has previously said that Islam and the U.S. Constitution are incompatible. (In agreement with what all honest muslims say)
“Most people think Islam is a religion, it’s not. It’s a totalitarian way of life with a religious component. But it’s much larger. It’s a geo-political system that has governmental, financial, military, legal and religious components. And it’s a totalitarian system that encompasses every aspect of life and it should not be protected (under U.S. law),” he told members of the Coweta County Tea Party Patriots in 2011, according to The Citizen.
“This is not a tolerant, peaceful religion even though some Muslims are peaceful. Most Muslims believe that Sharia is required by God and must be imposed worldwide. It’s a movement to take over the world by force. A global caliphate is the objective,” he added. (As we are now seeing with ISIS)

SBNation: Dion Waiters skipped national anthem for religious reasons (Islam)
11/7/2014

Waiters informed Northeast Ohio Media Group that he is a Muslim and that he plans to excuse himself prior to the national anthem from here on out.

"It's because of my religion," Waiters told NEOMG. "That's why I stayed in the locker room."

Waiters says he is rededicating himself more to his Muslim faith. He appears to be in a happier state.
[snip]
Waiters is not the first NBA player to forego standing for the anthem because of his Muslim faith. Nuggets guard Mahmoud Abdul-Raouf famously drew a one-game suspension from the NBA for his refusal to stand.

Video: Gruber: "Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage."
Transcript:

0:00 It's just, you can't do it, politcally. You just literally cannot do it.
0:03 Ok. Transparent financing..unless we have transparent financing and thenhave transparent spending
0:09 I mean...this bill was written in a tortured way to make sure the CBO did not square the mandate as taxes
0:14 If the CBO squared the mandate as taxes, the bill dies. Ok.
0:18 So it's written to do that.
0:19 In terms of, in terms of risk rated subsidies.
0:22 You get a law which said that healthy people are going to pay in
0:24 You made explicit the healthy people pay in and sick people get money
0:27 It would not have passed. Ok.
0:29 Just like how people, transparent...lack of transparency is a huge political advantage
0:34 And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter, or whatever
0:37 But basically, that was really, really critical to get the thing to pass
0:42 And, you know, its the second best argument.
0:44 Look, I wish Mark was right, we could make it all transparent
0:46 But, I'd rather have this law, than not. So, it's kind of like his reporter's story.
0:49 You know, yeah. There are things that I wish I could change but I'd rather have this law than not.
