Look, there is no way the USA should ever have an outbreak of serious proportion even GIVEN the active virus in mucus and saliva constituting AIRBORNE CONTAGION.
But the prevention of that outbreak rests COMPLETELY on accurate, timely information given to an attentive public.
Ebola news HAS our attention.
We have NOT gotten the right info, for whatever reasons ..political, fear of panic, empire protection, incompetence, WHO CARES?
As long as that remains the way we are operating, and this Klain appt seem to indicate that, we remain in danger of a real outbreak.
The longer an outbreak persists, the more hosts, and the more viral replications go on, the more likely the random mutations which occur in nature in viruses will result in THE BAD ONE for humanity.
