What’s going on now in Nevada is HUMAN WEAKNESS IN GOVT at work

So congress passes a law authorizing a Dept of the Interior and gives it authority it needs to manage parks, and forests and other federal lands where we might have mines, oil wells, etc FOR THE BENEFIT of the taxpayers.
We need that, and that is good govt.
What is NOT good govt is Congress then authorizing this created entity to extend itself and the executive by writing their own regulations for their own reasons which might have seemed like a good idea at the time, and which they then as the executive HAVE to enforce (in their own minds, and more on that in a sec). The EPA is another such example of this Frankenstein at work. Good idea, now a monstrous mutation in too many instances, and with self extending authority.
We see this at work as govt and its POLITICAL CLASS who serve in it fulfill the quite human quality of ambition, and desire to ‘succeed’, and bow to authority which becomes an end itself.
It is THAT human nature which the founders wrote the Constitution and the first 10 Amendment to constrain. Human NATURE. Not evil.
Congress has failed in allowing this.
We also see that when it comes to illegal aliens in the USA, and other laws which fit the ideology (of the moment..these things change) the executive is picky about what to enforce.
But this is not the case in Nevada.
I wish Mr. Bundy had paid the land fees and ALSO challenged the ridiculous tortoise issues, but this has grown far beyond all that now.
By flouting one law and enforcing another the executive seeks to enhance those who vote for them, and REPRESS those who oppose them. By executive I include the entire political class. That is why we see no politicians out there FLOUTING THIS FREE SPEECH ZONE.
It is as plain as can be.
We should have been objecting the instant this ZONE thing came about in the 2004 conventions.
That was a LARGE mistake. This is the free speech zone at the democratic convention in 2004.
We are becoming totally polarized as a nation and the political class want to overcome this by enforcing its authority.
Polarized. Beyond discussion. The Gracchi, Marius, and then Sulla.
This should be ended now by withdrawal of the BLM and DHS. TODAY. Then go to court. Then comes the ballot box (which is coming anyway).
I hear from the left all the time that when we get one Taliban somewhere with a drone it makes 100 others.
What do these people think is going on right now? In spades? Among American citizens?

This is a deliberate attempt by the federal government to provoke a violent incident and give them cover to order their hired guns to open fire on American citizens. Then their media can blame "right wing extremists" and "tea party" for the inevitable killings.

If no one on our side rises to the bait I expect the feds to resort to a black flag operation to accomplish same.

We are already living in a police state where subpoenas are served by SWAT teams itching for any excuse to kill the recipient. Expect the feds to continue escalating the provocations.

Will this be Obama's "Kent State"?

If there is an exchange of gunfire that results in death, which is increasingly likely given the fed's ratcheting up the bellicosity, it will be Obama's Kent State in reverse.

In this case the media will blame the protestors. We're in Waco territory here.

Midnight Rider here -- if spmeone could update this i have limited access right now -- per drudge FAA imposes no.fly zone over ranch to keep.news helis out and cell towers shut down. Only radios and sat phones working for comm. If this goes bad it will be worse than Waco and Ruby Ridge and I don't think Americans will sit still this time. I hope not...

Exactly. It's on the news now that a no fly zone is established. There is only one reason for this: to prohibit cameras from recording the events.

Remember that at Waco there the ATF had 4 separate cameras set up to record their heroic raid. However everyone of them was either turned off or "malfunctioning" when the shooting started. So no evidence of who shot first.

Not only has a no-fly zone been established, BLM is retreating. Patriots are celebrating, but w the no-fly zone remaining, there is greater difficulty in predicting if or what the Feds are planning to replace BLM. Caution is advised. I smell a rat.

Sources tell the I-Team that Sheriff Gillespie has negotiated a potential agreement in which the BLM would halt its roundup of Bundy’s cattle and withdraw its employees from the Gold Butte area.

The BLM wants to proceed with the sale of the cattle already gathered during the roundup but is reportedly willing to share the revenue from the sale with Bundy.

Sheriff Gillespie has been negotiating with Bundy behind the scenes for months and may have reached a tentative agreement Friday night, though Bundy insisted the sheriff come to his ranch to finalize the arrangement face-to-face.

If there is no agreement, this will end up badly. We know what side the press will side with. People will be portrayed like gun nuts and rednecks. Instead of farmers defending their livelihood, they will be portrayed as right wing nuts.
