Abortionist Slit Necks Of Babies Born Alive In Front Of Teenage Employee, Told Assistant, “That’s What You Call A Chicken With Its Head Cut Off”

From CNS News:

According to a Pennsylvania grand jury, Dr. Kermit Gosnell, the wealthy Philadelphia abortionist now on trial for seven counts of murdering babies who had survived his late-term abortions, repeatedly sliced the necks of born babies in front of a teenage employee, and once told his long-time assistant (the teenager’s mother) that a writhing born baby whose neck he had just severed was like a “chicken with its head cut off.”
“Ashley Baldwin also saw Gosnell slice the neck of moving and breathing babies,” said the report of the grand jury that recommended charging Gosnell with multiple counts of murder.
Baldwin’s mother, Tina, worked for nine years as Gosnell’s assistant. The teenager herself went to work for the abortionist when she was a 15-year-old high school sophomore.

A counter-petition against Jordan's sick parliament

There's been a counter-campaign to protest the Jordanian parliament's petitioning for releasing the man who murdered 7 Israeli schoolgirls:
An internet petition is calling upon Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to take action to prevent the release of the Jordanian who cold-bloodedly gunned down seven Jewish schoolgirls at Naharayim in 1997. [...]

The families of the murdered girls have asked the public to assist them in preventing the release of Dakamsa.
If Jordan does release the savage, it will be an open declaration that they're abandoning even the flimsiest of the "peace treaty" with Israel in the mid-90s.

Update: here's a link I found to a petition site, and here's another article about this case. Note that it's in Hebrew, and to sign it, the name field comes first, location next, and e-mail address (won't be published online) last.

This Might Explain Why We Have Not Done a Pre-Emptive Strike On NoKo

From Yahoo News:

A former North Korean spy who bombed a South Korean airliner said Wednesday that the North's leader Kim Jong-Un is struggling to control his military and using war talk to shore up support.
Kim Hyun-Hee, who said she was ordered by Jong-Un's father Kim Jong-Il to bomb the airliner in 1987 killing 115 people, said she believes the son is still trying to establish himself following his father's death in December 2011.
"Kim Jong-Un is too young and too inexperienced," she told Australia's ABC television in an exclusive interview from Seoul, where she lives at an undisclosed location surrounded by bodyguards.
"He's struggling to gain complete control over the military and to win their loyalty. That's why he's doing so many visits to military bases, to firm up support."
The North has been turning up the rhetoric for weeks and on Tuesday reiterated a warning that the Korean peninsula was headed for "thermo-nuclear" war, advising foreigners to consider leaving South Korea.
Kim Hyun-Hee told ABC there was method in the North Koreans' madness in threatening thermo-nuclear war.
"North Korea is using its nuclear programme to keep its people in line and to push South Korea and the United States for concessions," said Kim, who was captured after boarding the doomed 1987 plane in Baghdad.

Frank Gaffney urges Oklahoma governor to sign bill preventing sharia into effect

Gaffney, one of the best experts on the subject, has urged the OK governor to sign into law the bill that can prevent US courts from approving sharia:
The founder of a group that has voiced concern about the growing influence of radical Islam within the U.S. asked Oklahoma's governor on Friday to sign a bill that would prohibit foreign laws from being enforced in state courtrooms.

“It is not to say that all Muslims are a threat,” said Frank Gaffney, founder and president of the Center for Security Policy. “It is the case, however, that those who embrace and submit to Sharia and insist on, according to its doctrine, making the rest of us submit to it, are a danger.”
CAIR is predictably opposed to this, and Gaffney reminds that:
Gaffney said the Council on American-Islamic Relations is associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, which is known for engaging in political violence and was responsible for creating Hamas, which the U.S. has designated a terrorist organization. He said the council was founded as a political fundraiser and to do political warfare for Hamas in 1993. Gaffney also said the council has roots in the Islamic Association of Palestine. Gaffney said his information came from a memorandum dealing with the council, which was an unindicted co-conspirator in a 2004 Hamas funding case filed in federal court in Dallas.

“Anyone who considers the Council on Islamic Relations what it professes to be — just a civil rights organization speaking for the Muslims of the United States and not as a Muslim Brotherhood front engaged in influence operations and, frankly, subversion in our country — is grossly mistaken, and is, I'm afraid, unwittingly perhaps, but nonetheless aiding and abetting those engaged in what the Muslim Brotherhood itself calls civilization jihad against the United States,” Gaffney said.
I hope the OK governor will understand these concerns and finally sign into law a bill that America is seriously in need of.

Preeminent Stike!

Bomb North Korea, Before It’s Too Late

SINCE February, the North Korean government has followed one threatening move with another. The spiral began with an underground nuclear test. Then the North declared the armistice that ended the Korean War invalid. The young dictator Kim Jong-un followed with a flurry of threats to attack civilian targets in South Korea, Japan and the United States.

Earlier this week, North Korea closed the Kaesong Industrial Complex, the only facility where citizens from North and South Korea work together. And now the North is openly threatening (and visibly preparing) to fire a mobile-launcher-based Musudan missile with a range that could reach many of the places Mr. Kim has menaced in his public statements. American intelligence agencies believe that North Korea is working to prepare even longer-range delivery systems to carry the nuclear warheads already in its arsenal.

The Korean crisis has now become a strategic threat to America’s core national interests. The best option is to destroy the North Korean missile on the ground before it is launched. The United States should use a precise airstrike to render the missile and its mobile launcher inoperable.

President Obama should state clearly and forthrightly that this is an act of self-defense in response to explicit threats from North Korea and clear evidence of a prepared weapon. He should give the leaders of South Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan advance notice before acting. And he should explain that this is a limited defensive strike on a military target — an operation that poses no threat to civilians — and that America does not intend to bring about regime change. The purpose is to neutralize a clear and present danger. That is all.

If North Korea is left to continue its threatening behavior, it will jeopardize the fragile economies of the region and it will encourage South Korea and Japan to develop their own nuclear weapons — a policy already advocated by hawks in both countries. Most of all, North Korean threats will encourage isolated states across the world to follow suit. The Iranians are certainly watching. If North Korea can use its small nuclear arsenal to blackmail the region with impunity, why shouldn’t the mullahs in Tehran try to do the same?

Another example of why our kids are fucked

Teacher who assigned essay on why Jews were evil faces discipline

A teacher at an Albany, N.Y., high school asked students to argue why Jews were to blame for the problems of Nazi Germany. Many students refused to complete the assignment.

ALBANY, N.Y.A New York state high school English teacher who asked students to imagine they were Nazis and give reasons why Jews were evil could be reprimanded or dismissed, a school district superintendent said on Friday.
City School District of Albany Superintendent Marguerite Vanden Wyngaard apologized at a news conference and pledged officials would personally express regret to Albany High School students who were given the assignment and their families.
"This assignment for some of our students at Albany High School was completely unacceptable. It displayed a level of insensitivity that we will not tolerate in our school community," Vanden Wyngaard said.
"I'm deeply apologetic to all of our students, to all of our families and the entire community," she said, appearing with representatives of the Anti-Defamation League and the United Jewish Federation (UJF) of Northeastern New York at the UJF office in Albany.
The teacher, who Vanden Wyngaard declined to name, was removed from class for now and faced disciplinary action.

"It can go anywhere from a letter of counsel, to a letter of reprimand, all the way through to termination. There is a broad spectrum," Vanden Wyngaard said.

A letter would go out to all families in the school district, she said.
Vanden Wyngaard first issued an apology through the Times Union on Thursday night after the newspaper reported the assignment on its website. She responded with "absolute horror" when a parent presented her with the assignment on Thursday.
The teacher gave three classes of 10th grade students a persuasive writing assignment as part of a class project to demonstrate how Nazis thought and showed their loyalty to the Third Reich before World War Two.
"You need to pretend that I am a member of the government in Nazi Germany, and you are being challenged to consider that you are loyal to the Nazis by writing an essay convincing me that Jews are evil and the source of our problems," the assignment instructions said.
One-third of the students refused to complete the task, which was assigned following a class review of Nazi propaganda and directed them to imagine that their teacher was a Nazi official, said Ron Lesko, a spokesman for the district.
Students were asked for an introduction, conclusion and a list of arguments and were advised, "Please remember your life (here in Nazi Germany in the 30s) depends on it!"

Additional comments;

I have been reading the other news articles regarding this. Apparently, the school superintendent is trying to say that the teacher meant no harm by doing this.

I call bullshit!

And so does Melanie Nathan of  O-blog-dee-o-blog-da

What prompts such insensitivity? What prompts the thought that an argument could even begin to be made for genocide? There can be no good reason other than a rotten antisemitic mindset to start.

The mistake (?) here is in thinking that an argument can be made for scapegoating – for genocide – for the Holocaust. It seems this teacher thinks that Hitler is an historical figure who is worthy of any argument for the genocide he intended.

Media Seating Area at the Gosnell Trial

From Ace of Spades:

This picture is actually Pulitzer-worthy. The judge in the Gosnell trial set aside some seats for the media, as judges do in high-profile cases.

Meanwhile, a Washington Post reporter explains why she covers all sorts of national issues but hasn't written a word about this one.

Note that Rush Limbaugh calling Sandra Fluke a dirty word got a lot of coverage by this reporter, but this story is just a "local crime story."

Like Newtown was. But then Newtown had "national ramifications" for legislation... that the media desired. This story also has national ramifications for legislation... that the media does not desire.

Jordan's parliament favors releasing Islamofascist who murdered Israeli schoolgirls

Jordan's politicians have just declared their own hostility to Israel, signaling it's getting worse there as they take the side of a military soldier who committed murder in the late 1990s:
110 of 120 Jordanian MPs signed a petition this week calling for the release of Jordanian Army Corporal Ahmed Daqamseh, who murdered seven Israeli schoolgirls, and injured five others and a school teacher, on March 12, 1997 in the Island of Peace site near Naharayim.

Daqamseh opened fire on a group of 80 seventh and eight grade school girls from AMIT Fuerst School in Bet Shemesh, who were visiting the "Island of Peace," a joint Israeli-Jordanian tourist resort under Jordanian rule.

Following the massacre, the late King Hussein of Jordan apologized for the attack and traveled to Israel to pay respect to the grieving families.

In February 2011, Jordanian Justice Minister Hussein Mjali, who previously served as Daqamseh's defense lawyer during the 1997 trial, called Daqamseh a hero and added that "if a Jew murdered Arabs, they'd [the Israelis] build him a statue."
So now they're revealing their true colors, and making clear they really do hate Israel. No wonder they'd hire such a repulsive man as a politician. It's too dangerous for Jews to live there, and that's why there was never any real peace treaty with Jordan to start with.

Oklahoma's anti-sharia bill on way to governor

It looks like it fully passed. Now, it's the governor's turn to complete the approval:
OKLAHOMA CITY – House Bill 1060 is now on its way to the governor’s desk.

The legislation would prohibit the application of foreign laws if it violates either the state Constitution or the U.S. Constitution.

The measure is similar to State Question 755, which specifically singled out “Sharia Law.”

That was approved by Oklahoma voters but overturned by the courts.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is urging the governor not to sign the bill. They call it an attack on the religious principles of Islam.
We must hope the governor stands strong and signs the bill into law. It's not an attack on Islamic principals but rather, a measure to prevent local courts from following the worst elements.

Sorry, gang, I can't blame Obama for all of this. Bush has more than his share of blame. He named them in the Axis of Evil over a decade ago and then did damned little about it for the rest of his term.

North Korea capable of arming missile with nuclear warhead, according to the Pentagon

North Korea has advanced its nuclear knowledge to the point that it could arm a ballistic missile with a nuclear warhead, a U.S. intelligence report concludes.

The jarring revelation came just hours before U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry landed in South Korea in the midst of bellicose threats from the unpredictable communist regime.

Kerry landed in Seoul Friday on the unusual diplomatic journey, as he spearheads the effort to shift U.S. power away from Europe and the Middle East and toward Asia.

His trip was planned well in advance of North Korea's apparent preparations for another missile test.

Meanwhile, President Obama urged calm in the region Thursday, calling on Pyongyang to end its saber-rattling while sternly warning that he would "take all necessary steps" to protect American citizens.

The new American intelligence analysis, disclosed Thursday at a hearing on Capitol Hill, says the Pentagon's intelligence wing has "moderate confidence" that North Korea has nuclear weapons capable of delivery by ballistic missiles but that the weapon was unreliable.

Rep. Doug Lamborn, R-Colo., read aloud what he said was an unclassified paragraph from a secret Defense Intelligence Agency report that was supplied to some members of Congress. The reading seemed to take Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, by surprise, who said he hadn't seen the report and declined to answer questions about it.

The DIA conclusion was confirmed by a senior congressional aide who spoke on condition of anonymity because the Pentagon had not officially released the contents. The aide said the report was produced in March.

Since the beginning of March, the Navy has moved two missile defense ships closer to the coast of the Korean peninsula, in part to protect against a potential missile launch aimed at Guam, a U.S. territory in the Pacific. The Pentagon also has announced it will place a more advanced land-based missile defense on Guam, and Hagel said in March that he approved installing 14 additional missile interceptors in Alaska to bolster a portion of the missile defense network that is designed to protect all of U.S. territory.

On Thursday, the Pentagon said it had moved a sea-based X-band radar -- designed to track warheads in flight -- into position in the Pacific.

Notably absent from that unclassified segment of the report was any reference to what the DIA believes is the range of a missile North Korea could arm with a nuclear warhead. Much of its missile arsenal is capable of reaching South Korea and Japan, but Kim has threatened to attack the United States as well.

At the House Armed Services Committee hearing in which he revealed the DIA assessment, Lamborn asked Dempsey, whether he agreed with it. Dempsey said he had not seen the report.

"You said it's not publicly released, so I choose not to comment on it," Dempsey said.

But David Wright, a nuclear weapons expert at the Union of Concerned Scientists, said the DIA assessment probably does not change the views of those who closely follow developments in North Korea's pursuit of a nuclear weapon.

"People are starting to believe North Korea very likely has the capability to build a nuclear weapon small enough to put on some of their shorter-range missiles," Wright said. "Once you start talking about warheads small enough and technically capable to be on a long-range missile, I think it's much more an open question."

The DIA assessment is not out of line with comments Dempsey made Wednesday when he was asked at a Pentagon news conference whether North Korea was capable of pairing a nuclear warhead to a ballistic missile that could reach Japan or beyond.

In response, Dempsey said the extent of North Korean progress on designing a nuclear weapon small enough to operate as a missile warhead was a classified matter. But he did not rule out that the North has achieved the capability revealed in the DIA report.

"They have conducted two nuclear tests," Dempsey told a Pentagon news conference. "They have conducted several successful ballistic missile launches. And in the absence of concrete evidence to the contrary, we have to assume the worst case, and that's why we're postured as we are today." He was referring to recent moves by the U.S. to increase its missile defense capabilities in the Pacific.

At the same House hearing where Lamborn revealed the DIA conclusion, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel was asked a different version of the same question: Does North Korea have the capability to strike U.S. territory with a nuclear weapon? Hagel said the answer is no.

"Now does that mean that they won't have it or they can't have it or they're not working on it?" Hagel added. "No. That's why this is a very dangerous situation."

"Now is the time for North Korea to end the belligerent approach they have taken and to try to lower temperatures," Obama said in his first public comments since Pyongyang threatened the United States and its allies in East Asia with nuclear attack.

Obama, speaking from the Oval Office, said he preferred to see the tensions on the peninsula resolved through diplomatic means, but added that "the United States will take all necessary steps to protect its people."

The North on Thursday delivered a fresh round of war rhetoric with claims it has "powerful striking means" on standby, the latest in a torrent of warlike threats seen by outsiders as an effort to scare and pressure South Korea and the U.S. into changing their North Korea policies.

Lamborn is a member of the Strategic Forces subcommittee of the Armed Services panel, which oversees ballistic missiles. A former state legislator who was elected to the House in 2006, was a member of the Tea Party caucus and belongs to the Republican Study Committee, the caucus of House conservatives

At a separate hearing Thursday, U.S. officials offered their assessment of the North Korean leader, who is a grandson of the country's founder, Kim Il Sung.

Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told the House Intelligence Committee that he thinks Kim, who took control after his father, Kim Jong Il, died in 2011, is trying to show the U.S., the world and his own people that he is "firmly in control in North Korea," while attempting to maneuver the international community into concessions in future negotiations.

"I don't think ... he has much of an endgame other than to somehow elicit recognition" and to turn the nuclear threat into "negotiation and to accommodation and presumably for aid," Clapper said.

Clapper said that the intelligence community believes the North would use nuclear weapons only to preserve the Kim regime but that analysts do not know how the regime defines that.

“I reject it out of hand as a feel-good measure that’s not going to accomplish anything. It won’t stop any shootings, that’s for sure.”

“I just don’t trust the government. I don’t trust the government that claims it’s going to reduce the budget while they increase the budget,” he added.

Nugent then asked Burnett if she wants to reduce gun trafficking. Naturally, Burnett answered yes. “Then you would support my recommendation that we arrest Eric Holder,” Nugent said.

“Well, no, I don’t support that,” Burnett replied.
“Well, if you want to stop gun trafficking why don’t we go after the guy trafficking guns? That would be Eric Holder,” Nugent shot back, clearly referring to Operation Fast and Furious where 2,000 guns were allowed to walk across the U.S.-Mexico border.

Obama Gives Muslim Brotherhood-Run Egypt Four More F-16 Fighter Jets Despite Outcry

From Fox News:

Four more F-16 fighter jets left the U.S. on Thursday headed for Egypt as part of a foreign aid package that has generated controversy given the political upheaval in the Mideast country.
Critics say the military aid should stop because the president Egyptians elected last year has led the Muslim Brotherhood, called President Obama liar and urged that hatred of Jews be instilled in children.
A source who works on the naval air base in Fort Worth, Texas, confirmed to FoxNews.com the departure of the state-of-the-art fighter planes. The new shipment brings the total number of F-16 jets given to Egypt this year to 12.
Eight more F-16s will be given to the Egyptian government before the end of the year as part of a billion-dollar foreign aid deal signed in 2010 with then-Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, a longtime U.S. ally. The U.S. also will send 200 Abrams tanks.
Critics, including several in Congress, say it doesn’t make sense to follow through with the package. While current Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi has toned down his rhetoric since his election last summer, in 2010 Morsi attacked Obama for supporting Israel.
“One American president after another — and most recently, that Obama — talks about American guarantees for the safety of the Zionists in Palestine,” Morsi, then a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, said on Egyptian TV in reaction to Obama’s 2009 speech in Cairo. “[Obama] was very clear when he uttered his empty words on the land of Egypt. He uttered many lies.”

Toomey Sells Us Out

I won't vote for this bastard again.

Red State:

The Toomey-Manchin Proposal Will Allow Doctors to Block Your Right to Guns

I just talked to someone familiar with the Toomey-Manchin proposal who raises a serious concern based on his understanding of the legislation.

Everyone on all sides agrees that we need better help for those with mental health problems who need treatment.

Unfortunately, the person I talked with is concerned that the Toomey-Manchin proposal could discourage people from getting help.

The proposal will allow a doctor to add a patient to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) without ever telling the patient he or she has been added.

There would be no due process requirement. Not all doctors will be able to do it with the same ease, but many will. Knowing a doctor could add him to a federal database as mentally ill without his
knowledge could potentially dissuade a patient from going to the doctor in the first place to get help.

Worse, if the doctor does so and makes a mistake, the patient would have to actively work through the system to get himself removed — guilty before being proven innocent. In some states, should a doctor flag you as having mental illness without your knowledge, you may very well see the state come collect your previously purchased guns.

Activist mental health providers will probably be overly aggressive in adding people to the list. Give it five years in liberal areas and people who believe in the physical resurrection of Christ will probably get automatic entry onto the list.

Mental health is a serious issue and the Toomey-Manchin legislation could have negative consequences. Worse, it would still not stop a Columbine, a Newtown, or the daily massacres in Chicago.

Rush made a good point today. Why isn't there more prosecution using existing laws, especially in places like Chicago?

Why, if those gun laws are shown to actually work when enforced, there would be no need for new ones.

Meanwhile, for those who ask what could go wrong with doctors reporting mental health problems to a gun registry, well. . .

The Blaze

Oops! New York State Police Admit to Major Mistake in Gun Confiscation Case

In a surprising turnaround, New York State Police have admitted that they made a mistake when they confiscated the guns and suspended the permit of an Erie County resident on the grounds of mental health.
Late Wednesday, Erie County, NY, released a statement (posted below) blaming the New York State Police for giving them bad information regarding the suspension of a pistol permit and demand to surrender firearms sent to Amherst resident David Lewis.
(Mr. Lewis was not identified in our original story, his name has since been released in conjunction with court documents filed by his attorney, Jim Tresmond.)
“Erie County Clerk Chris Jacobs said that late today he received a call from the New York State Police informing him that they had provided information on the wrong person when they notified his office of someone whose permit should be suspended because of the new mental health provisions in New York’s SAFE Act,” the release begins.
“When the State Police called to tell us they made a mistake and had the wrong person … it become clear that the state did not do their job here and now we all look foolish,” the release went on to say in a quote from Clerk Jacobs.
Jacobs appeared on WBEN radio in Buffalo on Thursday morning and explained the details of this administrative debacle. Mr. Jacobs also delivered some pointed comments about how the law was written so badly that mistakes like this were bound to happen. He closed with some fairly damning statements and also asked the state to consider scrapping the bill and re-writing it.

“When you write a piece of legislation in a vacuum, without having hearings, without talking to people about how it’s going to implemented in the real world — without jeopardizing people’s rights, and putting an individual like this through a nightmarish experience, and infringe on their rights, you have to go back to the drawing board,” he said. “And I encourage the legislative leadership here and mostly our governor to take a step back and say ‘we didn’t get it right’ and let’s change this.”

Read WBEN’s full story on Jacobs here.
After the press release was issued by the state, TheBlaze spoke with one of Mr. Lewis’ attorney, Max Tresmond.
“We won round one,” he said,  “round two will be a suit against the state for what they did to our client and his reputation.”
Here is the press release admitting to the error in this gun confiscation:

Eric Holder’s Schedule: Frequent Meetings With Race-Based Groups

From PJM:

Attorney General Eric Holder began his tenure by calling Americans cowards regarding racial issues. Newly released documents reveal that Holder’s schedule shows a preoccupation with racial issues: he spends an inordinate amount of time meeting with race-centered organizations.
Recently, the Department of Justice began making Holder’s daily schedules available online. Although the schedules are far from complete and heavily redacted, the compiled summary below (links to documents provided) shows how much time and access the office of the attorney general allocates to ethnocentric lobbyists and race-based associations.
For 2009, Holder’s first year as AG, over just a nine-month period (the only months available for that year) nearly 50 entries mention meetings with such groups. For the entire 17-month period provided, there are almost a dozen entries showing meetings with “black” professional associations and trade groups.
To be sure, people are free to associate and assemble along ethnic lines. But when the attorney general uses his executive branch position (and taxpayer funding) to advance the private concerns of race-centric organizations, it goes far in creating the appearance of racial bias within the DOJ. (Unfortunately, bias in access doesn’t begin and end at the DOJ; see a recent post at the Center for Immigration Studies about similar findings involving the DHS.) Given what we know of the DOJ’s ideological politics — as has been documented by PJ Media Legal Editor J. Christian Adams and most recently by the agency’s own internal watchdog — seeing whom Holder is giving access to raises serious questions about our nation’s primary law enforcer’s commitment to race-neutral enforcement. This is especially a concern given the Holder-led DOJ’s intrusions into employment lawvoting lawdiscrimination law, and onto college campuses.
The following months are missing from DOJ’s released library of Holder’s schedule:

Schools Teaching Americans Do NOT Have A Right To Bear Arms

From Gateway Pundit:
Connecticut school is teaching students that Americans don’t have a right to bear arms. Did the Liberal Marxist Teachers Unions repeal the second amendment without telling us?
FoxNews reports  the following:
The father of a Connecticut child is furious after discovering that his son’s school is teaching students that Americans don’t have a Second Amendment right to bear arms.
“I am appalled,” said Steven Boibeaux, of Bristol. “It sounds to me like they are trying to indoctrinate our kids.”
Boibeaux’s son is an eighth grader at Northeast Middle School. On Monday his social studies teacher gave students a worksheet titled, ‘The Second Amendment Today.’
“The courts have consistently determined that the Second Amendment does not ensure each individual the right to bear arms,” the worksheet states. “The courts have never found a law regulating the private ownership of weapons unconstitutional.
The worksheet, published by Instructional Fair, goes on to say that the Second Amendment is not incorporated against the states.
“This means that the rights of this amendment are not extended to the individual citizens of the states,” the worksheet reads. “So a person has no right to complain about a Second Amendment violation by state laws.”
According to the document, the Second Amendment “only provides the right of a state to keep an armed National Guard.”
Boibeaux said he discovered the worksheet as he was going over his son’s homework assignments.
“I’m more than a little upset about this,” he told Fox News. “It’s not up to the teacher to determine what the Constitution means.”
Mat Staver, the founder and chairman of the Liberty Counsel, called the lesson propaganda – that is “absolutely false.”
“In fact, the US Supreme Court has affirmed that the Second Amendment ensures the individual the right to bear arms,” Staver told Fox News. “The progressive interpretation of the Second Amendment is that it doesn’t give you the right to bear arms – that it’s a corporate right of the government – but that has been rejected by the Courts.”
Boibeaux’s son’s teacher also told the students that the Constitution is a “living document.”
As noted in the worksheet provided to students – that means “the interpretation changes to meet the needs of the times.”
“The judges and courts of each generation provide the interpretation of the document,” the worksheet states.
Boibeaux called that concept mind-boggling.
It’s not up to the teacher to determine what the Constitution means,” he said. “If you want to learn about the Constitution, recite it word for word.”
Staver said the idea that the Constitution is a living document is another progressive tactic.
“This idea that this school is propagating that the Constitution can simply be changed at the whim of someone – or that the Second Amendment does not protect the individual right to bear arms is absolute propaganda and absolutely false,” Staver said.
