Ladies and Gentleman, Your Republican Choices For President of the United States

Paul Ryan?!?

Bad pick.

Romney just threw the election, just like John McCain.

Back in the early 80's, Devo made fun of this stereotype creating this image for themselves:

The image has become only more and more of a mockable stereotype in the years since.

That the Republican Party believes this is a winning image in this day and age, is sad.

It's a demographic/psychographic thing.

Romney and Ryan are two white guys.

Mitt Romney is the perfect stereotype of white guy, and Ryan is almost that as well.

Whites are a minority in this country.

Yet whites make up a large portion of those who would vote for a Republican for President. White men are pretty much wrapped up. If Romney wanted to win he had to bring in other constituencies, which he could have done by picking Rubio or Jindahl.

Instead, he doubled down on his own stereotype. It is not that a white man can not win the Presidency. It is that a stereotype white man stands little chance of winning the Presidency if he continually doubles down on stereotype.

As Romney does, and has done, and has now proven he will do again and again.

This is yet another boneheaded, tone-deaf, and impotent choice by the Republican party.

Say goodbye to the election, and say goodbye to the economy. We're in it for the long haul. Cuba, here we come.

Ryan? The perfect pick…. TWO WEEKS AGO

Ironically I wanted Ryan to run for president, OVER ANYONE ELSE
Maybe a guy not afraid to take on Geithner, and Obama face to face is the right guy at this moment. Certainly from the standpoint of COMMITTING REAL ACTS no one is superior to Mr. Ryan.
But Romney needs a totally scary attack dog today. If the nation is going to have the Romney portrait complete before he can spend a dollar of nominee’s money then the right guy to ensure the priority, which is the defeat of this administration, then Chris Christie is the guy needed.
Ryan is going to be a totally superior debater, totally superior convincer, totally superior point maker. But when they attack him they way the have Romney, in commercials accusing one guy of being a murderer and the other guy hoping you die quickly, and PLANNING to make it so, as you starve on reduced social security benefits, is he the right guy to turn that around in the mind of someone in Ohio who just got a job back after being unemployed for a year?

When they say the presidential nominee doesn't care if you lose your insurance and die, and the vice presidential nominee doesn't even want you to have insurance, can Ryan answer them and make them suffer?
We will see.
The attack on Ryan is one we have already seen.
‘Ryan plans to destroy social security and medicare to balance the budget on the graves of the old’
We will see.
One thing is for sure, the republicans had better have their commercials ready to explain how irresponsible, amateurish, submissive, morally weak EXCEPT towards republicans, and incompetent Mr. Obama is, and how that means his continued failure will not only kill america, but your way of life, and worse still, DIRECTV, DISH, Time Warner, and FIOS.

Pompous Self Appointed Elite Update:Time, CNN Star Fareed Zakaria Suspended for Admitted Plagiarism

God has a sense of humor. This monor would have done anything to help Obama, and his only criticisms have been Obama was not far enough to the left
When CNN host and Time editor-at-large Fareed Zakaria wrote a new piece called “The Case for Gun Control,” it ended with a bang: “So when people throw up their hands and say we can’t do anything about guns, tell them they’re being un-American—and unintelligent.”

Here’s something that suggests a lack of intelligence: plagiarism. Cam Edwards at NRANews.com suggested to me that Zakaria seemed to plagiarize a paragraph from an April article in The New Yorker magazine — with a modicum word-usage changes and interjections (Texas!) in an attempt to paper it over. Here’s a paragraph from his Time piece:
Adam Winkler, a professor of constitutional law at UCLA, documents the actual history in Gunfight: The Battle over the Right to Bear Arms in America. Guns were regulated in the U.S. from the earliest years of the Republic. Laws that banned the carrying of concealed weapons were passed in Kentucky and Louisiana in 1813. Other states soon followed: Indiana in 1820, Tennessee and Virginia in 1838, Alabama in 1839 and Ohio in 1859. Similar laws were passed in Texas, Florida and Oklahoma. As the governor of Texas (Texas!) explained in 1893, the “mission of the concealed deadly weapon is murder. To check it is the duty of every self-respecting, law-abiding man.”
Compare that in its organization to this paragraph from a Jill Lepore New Yorker article from April:
As Adam Winkler, a constitutional-law scholar at U.C.L.A., demonstrates in a remarkably nuanced new book, “Gunfight: The Battle Over the Right to Bear Arms in America,” firearms have been regulated in the United States from the start. Laws banning the carrying of concealed weapons were passed in Kentucky and Louisiana in 1813, and other states soon followed: Indiana (1820), Tennessee and Virginia (1838), Alabama (1839), and Ohio (1859). Similar laws were passed in Texas, Florida, and Oklahoma. As the governor of Texas explained in 1893, the “mission of the concealed deadly weapon is murder. To check it is the duty of every self-respecting, law-abiding man.”
Voila! Xerox Zakaria!
It’s not the first time Zakaria’s been accused of lifting things.
Zakaria’s also been caught giving the same commencement address over and over.
Update 16:25:10
A spokesman replied:

“TIME takes any accusation of plagiarism by any of our journalists very seriously, and we will carefully examine the facts before saying anything else on the matter.”
Update 16:32:00
As Dylan Byers of Politico notes, Time has suspended Zakaria, saying in a statement:
TIME accepts Fareed’s apology, but what he did violates our own standards for our columnists, which is that their work must not only be factual but original; their views must not only be their own but their words as well. As a result, we are suspending Fareed’s column for a month, pending further review.
Update 17:50
Update 21:17
In a statement released to the press, Zakaria has admitted his plagiarism:
Media reporters have pointed out that paragraphs in my Time column this week bear close similarities to paragraphs in Jill Lepore’s essay in the April 23 issue of The New Yorker. They are right. I made a terrible mistake. It is a serious lapse and one that is entirely my fault. I apologize unreservedly to her, to my editors at Time, and to my readers.

Barr called a colleague in his hotel room and screamed using sexually explicit language, telling him she 'wanted his c*** in the back of [her] throat'

Daily Mail:

Big Sis Janet Napolitano 'promoted woman with whom she had a 'long relationship' while her female staff tormented male colleagues with 'sexually charged games''

Department of Homeland Security boss faces discrimination lawsuit
Napolitano 'gave close friend promotion over better qualified men'
Suit: She turned department into 'frat house' where men were tormented
ICE chief of staff 'humiliated and intimidated' male employees
Suzanne Barr 'called male colleague in hotel room and used sexually-explicit language'

By Daily Mail Reporter

Homeland Security boss Janet Napolitano is facing a mega lawsuit from an official who claims she gave a less-qualified woman with whom she has a 'long-standing relationship' a job over him.

The suit also accuses Napolitano of turning the department into a female-run 'frat house' where male staffers were routinely humiliated and on the receiving end of 'sexually charged games'.

Napolitano's chief of staff Suzanne Barr repeatedly targeted men because of their gender and once called a male employee's hotel room to use sexually explicit language, the suit claims.

James T. Hayes Jr., a special agent in charge of New York City investigations for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, filed the lawsuit in Washington, the New York Post reported.

He claims Napolitano favoured Dora Schriro, who had worked as director of the Arizona Department of Corrections when Napolitano was governor of the state, for a job due to their relationship.

Hayes first worked as a border patrol agent in 1995 and then served as director of ICE Detention and Removal Operations in Washington, DC, but was demoted after Napolitano's appointment, he claims.

In February 2009, she appointed Schriro as a 'special adviser' and began pushing him out of meetings, the lawsuit says.

Hayes claims that Schriro, who is now commissioner of the city Department of Correction, was not as qualified him for the role as she did not have as much law-enforcement experience.

'Schriro did have experience, however, working with Secretary Napolitano,' it writes. 'Schriro enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the secretary.'

The lawsuit does not outline the exact nature of the relationship between Napolitano and the woman she brought with her to Washington from Arizona.

It has long been rumoured that 'Big Sis' Napolitano is a lesbian, but in 2002 she publicly denied the claims.

Schriro is a widow; she was married for just 10 months in 1991 before her husband, St Louis's director of public safety Gay Carraway, died of cancer. He was 20 years her senior.

She has previously gushed about how much she looks up to Napolitano, naming her as one of her greatest influences - alongside her late husband and grandparents.

'Janet Napolitano is one of the smartest people I’ve ever met,' she told Education Update. 'She's totally capable of having a great time wherever she is and regardless of the workload.'

Denial: The suit does not outline the nature of the relationship. Napolitano, pictured, has denied she is gay

In the suit Hayes also accused Napolitano’s chief of staff at ICE, Suzanne Barr, of repeated 'sexually offensive behaviour' intended to 'humiliate and intimidate male employees'.

On one occasion, Barr called a colleague in his hotel room and screamed using sexually explicit language, telling him she 'wanted his c*** in the back of [her] throat'.

Hayes claims he 'felt that he was being targeted because of his gender' and witnessed Barr repeatedly picking on men.

She 'created a frat-house type atmosphere that is targeted to humiliate and intimidate male employees', according to court papers.

In 2009 she 'removed the entire contents of the offices of three male employees, including nameplates, computers and telephones, to the men’s bathroom at ICE headquarters'.

'Frat house': Napolitano's department became a workplace where men were repeatedly humiliated, the suit claims

Once she took a male special agent's work phone and messaged his female supervise 'indicating that the male employee had a crush on the female supervisor and fantasized about her', it says.

The suit adds: 'Further, Barr promoted and otherwise rewarded those male employees who play along with her sexually charged games.'

Hayes is seeking relief for $335,000 in damages.

ICE Director of Public Affairs Brian Hale told the New York Post: 'ICE doesn’t comment on unfounded claims and will respond to Mr. Hayes’ allegations as appropriate through the judicial system.'

Robin Campbell, press secretary for the New York City Department of Correction, added: 'Commissioner Schriro’s selection and service at DHS was based on the merits. Any suggestion to the contrary

Warning To U.S. Banks

An exclusive from Reuters, dated August 10, 2012:
U.S. regulators directed five of the country's biggest banks, including Bank of America Corp and Goldman Sachs Group Inc, to develop plans for staving off collapse if they faced serious problems, emphasizing that the banks could not count on government help.

The two-year-old program, which has been largely secret until now, is in addition to the "living wills" the banks crafted to help regulators dismantle them if they actually do fail....

Hezbollah MP Says Purpose of Iranian Nuclear Weapon Is to “Finish Off” Israel

Hezbollah MP Walid Sakariya told Lebanese television this week that the nuclear weapon Iran is allegedly developing is intended to annihilate Israel.
In a segment recorded and translated by MEMRI (the Middle East Media Research Institute), Sakariya, also a retired general, told his interviewer on Hezbollah’s al-Manar TV Tuesday that should Iran acquire a nuclear weapon it would serve Syrian as well as Iranian interests, namely the eradication of the Jewish state.
“This nuclear weapon is intended to create a balance of terror with Israel, to finish off the Zionist enterprise, and to end all Israeli aggression against the Arab nation,” Sakariya said.
“The entire equation in the Middle East will change,” he asserted.

California Democrats Including Maxine Waters Attend Meeting Where Muslim Group Urges Support For Sharia Law

Michael Downing Opens His Mouth -
Shit Flows Out -
His Arrogance Tells Him It Tastes Good

(OneNewsNow) — An expert on Islam is concerned that some California politicians and city officials are ignoring the facts about sharia law.
A town hall meeting at the Islamic Society of Orange County earlier this year declared there is no conflict between sharia law, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Several lawmakers and officials in The Golden State — including Democratic U.S.
Congresswomen Maxine Waters and Loretta Sanchez; Los Angeles Police Department Deputy Chief Michael Downing; and Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca — urged support for sharia law. In several recently released videos from the event, officials said that sharia is not a threat to the United States.
Joe Carey, founder of Radical Truth, says that the statements made by the officials showed a lack of understanding the true nature of Sharia law.
“Michael Downing made this particular statement — he said, ‘The influence of natural laws described by Cicero are the foundational building blocks of Jewish law, Christian law, and sharia law or Islamic law,’” Carey tells OneNewsNow. “That is just outlandish. Sharia law does not recognize natural law and does not recognize human rights. These statements by our officials are just reprehensible, and they ought to be held to account for them.”
Carey contends it is clear that officials have no knowledge of sharia or Islam, and he is concerned that national security officials hold a “blissful” approach towards sharia law.
For Downing's information, the reason Sharia Law is not like Natural Law is because it is not one law for all.

Sharia calls for one law for Muslims (the tribe) and another law for all who are not Muslim.

Sharia considers women to be worth half that of men in a court of law.

Sharia allows for the taking of slaves as spoils of war.

Sharia imposes a protection tax (Jizya) on Christians and Jews.

Sharia calls for "Infidels" (those who are neither Muslims nor "people of the Book") to either convert to Islam or be put to death.

Sharia calls for Apostates to be put to death.

Sharia calls for Homosexuals to be put to death.

How is that like Natural Law?

And it is not like these penalties are some obscure relics of Islam's past. These strictures are imposed in Sharia nations around the world, such as

Saudi Arabia
The Palestinian Territories

FREE BEACON-The battle to define Mitt Romney is over—and Romney lost

Matthew Continetti, no less:

The Massachusetts multimillionaire who won his party’s nomination largely on perceptions of “electability” had become the target of a ferocious blitz of negative advertising. Partisans and media decried many of the attacks as misleading or false. The nominee, busy raising money, had yet to respond with a commensurate ad buy that made the positive case for his candidacy. He relied instead on outside groups to pummel the incumbent’s record. And though unaffiliated consultants worried that the challenger may have unilaterally disarmed in the contest to define his biography, personality, and policies, campaign operatives and their media allies said the race was more or less tied. The choice was made to stay the course, and to accumulate a war chest that could be spent in the fall.
“This decision may be remembered as the most brilliant move of the campaign,” wrote Ryan Lizza, “or the one that cost” the nominee “the presidency. It is a large-scale version of rope-a-dope—allow your opponent to unload with his most powerful punches as you hunker down and bide your time, waiting to unload in the next round, once the other guy has spent himself.”
The “other guy” to whom Lizza referred in his May 3, 2004, New Republicarticle was of course George W. Bush, whose portrayal of John Kerry as a flip-flopping tax-and-spend liberal weak on national security was a success. President Bush eked out re-election, 51 percent to 48 percent nationally, thanks to a hundred thousand votes in Ohio and some trusty Diebold machines.
Eight years later, the positions are reversed. The incumbent whose poll numbers are in dangerous territory is a Democrat. The Massachusetts multimillionaire is a Republican. It is conservatives who are crying foul over the incumbent and his allies’ negative advertising, not liberals.
What has not changed is the incumbent’s use of donations from millionaires and billionaires to define his opponent in terms anathema to the voters who will decide the election, while in the midst of the onslaught the challenger engages in a version of rope-a-dope. The voters to whom the Bush appeal was targeted in 2004 were the right-leaning independents who may have had second thoughts about the Iraq war after David Kay reported that he had been unable to find weapons of mass destruction, but who also were leery of the ashen-faced and aristocratic liberal from the north.
In 2012 Obama campaign manager Jim Messina, chief strategist David Axelrod, White House senior adviser David Plouffe, and super PAC strategists Bill Burton and Paul Begala are out to disillusion white voters without college degrees in the Rust Belt and Mountain West, who will elect Mitt Romney president if they vote Republican by the 30-point margin they gave the GOP in 2010, but who could also give President Obama a second term if they do not turn out in great numbers, or if their support drops to the 18-point margin they gave John McCain in 2008.
We are therefore witnessing a well-rehearsed and coordinated and almost balletic exercise in voter suppression, as Obama and his helpers spend hundreds of millions of dollars convincing middle America that Romney is a rich elitist who made a fortune in rapacious finance capitalism, and whose concern for the bottom line trumps transparency, compassion, and community. The objective of this campaign is to tie Romney down, Gulliver-like, with connections to the most lurid aspects of Bain Capital and the global economy, thereby hobbling his ability to make his case and dragooning white voters into apathy.
The chief objective of any candidate is to define himself positively and his opponent negatively. Romney has allowed the Obama team to define him in their terms. He has three opportunities—his vice presidential pick, his convention speech, and his performance in the debates—to seize the initiative and escape the fetters Obama has constructed. Failure to do so would leave this close election to chance. Romney risks John Kerry’s fate.
The mystery is why the GOP nominee allowed himself to fall into this trap. He and his team knew the Bain attacks were coming. The late Ted Kennedy used Bain as a cudgel to beat back Romney’s senate challenge in 1994. As early as last August, Politico reported that the Obama campaign’s “mission” was to “destroy Romney.” Both Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich flung Bain at the frontrunner during the Republican primaries. Ann Romney put it well when she told CBS News that the entirety of Obama’s re-election strategy was “let’s kill this guy.” The most senior levels of the Romney campaign had assured conservatives that Republicans were prepared for the attacks on private equity. They’ve had a funny way of showing it.
One has rather had the impression of a campaign overwhelmed by the volume and salaciousness of Obama’s smears. It was May when Axelrod and company loosed Bain on the campaign trail once again, and persisted in the offensive despite protests from Cory BookerBill ClintonDeval Patrick, and other Democrats. That month also saw the political debut of Joe Soptic, the steelworker who lost his livelihood in a Bain deal, and who would star in commercials for both the Obama campaign and the Obama super PAC Priorities USA.
In July the argument intensified, with the Obama and Romney camps squabbling over when exactly the Republican nominee “retroactively retired” from the company he created, with Obama For America deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter suggesting Romney may have committed a felony, and with Obama portraying Romney as a man willing to ship just about every job overseas but his own. In July, too, surrogates for Obama inside and outside the media launched another line of attack that focused on Romney’s reluctance to release his tax returns for years prior to 2010. A high profile report in Vanity Fair suggested Romney was squirreling away money in secret overseas accountsOther media speculated that Romney did not release the returns because he may have paid an extraordinarily low effective tax rate on investment income. The theories were legion. It did not matter that these allegations were based on absolutely no evidence. It did not matter that Romney has no legal or even moral requirement to release any more returns than he thinks are necessary. What mattered was that suspicions were raised. Doubts were sown. Cynicism spread.
Leave it to Harry Reid to crank the amplifier up to eleven by alleging, without substance, that an anonymous Bain investor once told him Romney had paid no taxes for 10 years. There is no evidentiary hurdle a smear must clear—if a Democrat utters it. Nancy Pelosi stood by our national embarrassment of a Senate majority leader. The Obama campaign released an ad raising the zero percent question and asking, “Isn’t it time for Mitt Romney to come clean?” Meanwhile Joe Soptic returned to the stage in an Obama super PAC advertisement suggesting that Romney was somehow responsible for the death of Soptic’s wife by cancer. The official Obama campaign initially denied knowledge of Soptic’s story in an attempt to distance itself from the ridiculously offensive television spot, only to later reverse its position.
Tax avoidance, felony, possible murder—this is the picture of Mitt Romney that Barack Obama has presented to the American people. One can point out the numerous factual errors and distortions and elisions in the portrait. One can observe, as Romney campaign manager Matt Rhoades did in a fundraising e-mail issued Thursday, “This week, the Obama campaign hit a new low.” One can suggest that the race has continued to be stable and that, in the current hostile environment, to be within the margin of error is a good thing for the Republicans. And yet all of these arguments were just as applicable to the candidacy of John Kerry eight years ago as they are to Mitt Romney’s candidacy today.
If Obama loses, it will be because Mitt Romney reminded white voters without college degrees of the threat Obamacare poses to individual liberty and national solvency; of Obama’s ritual sacrifice of energy independence and economic growth on the altar of environmentalism; of the burden that future generations will bear because of Obama’s spending; of Obama’s support for a redefinition of marriage and for an amnesty of illegal immigrants. Whatever prevents Romney from pointing these things out—whether it comes from the Obama campaign or from within Romney’s high command—also prevents him from winning the presidency.
Mitt Romney did not kill Joe Soptic’s wife, but the Obama campaign is effectively killing Mitt Romney’s reputation. It may be ugly. It may be dishonest. But if it succeeds, like all killings it will be irrevocable.

Mitt, it’s time. This is YOUR Sept 15th, 2008 moment

I was driving back from Marblehead to Maine with Mrs. Epa. Lehman Bros. had just been allowed to crash out of planet earth. Platitudes about the market by the Bush admin were in the midst of being ignored by the market.
Warnings about ATM’s being empty by the end of the week were starting to be mentioned on cable news.
McCain, who was ahead in  every poll, announced he was going to SUSPEND his campaign and return to Washington to try to help solve the bailout issue. Obama said he saw no need to. (Did he even vote on TARP?)
I turned to my wife and said ‘McCain has either just won, or just lost the election’.
Mitt your effective response, attack and ad blitz NOW nationwide will either damn Obama for what he is, an elite, socialist, Chicago goddamned liar of a pol who WILL DO ANYTHING to win or you will be a footnote in his career.
I know there’s a LOT of money that cannot be spent until you are the nominee, but by then Obama’s portrait of you might be complete - AS EVERY SINGLE POLL NOW INDICATES, especially among independent voters
Obama supporters merely ‘regret’ that the race has to be this way. America’s future is in the balance, Mr. Romney.

No one will be able to work together as we head for the fiscal cliff in January

Amid polls this morning showing Barack Obama’s BOLSHEVIK campaigning style IS SUCCEEDING, and doing so among independent voters, I ask how in, not just the immediate but INSTANT aftermath of the election it’s going to be possible for these parties to actually work together to avoid the sequestration, 40% budget cuts, national defense catasrophe, federal layoffs and firings, and cascading down to the states, and counties and towns coming IN JANUARY 2013.
In this writer’s opinion, given what I see in the Senate, with events such as Lieberman’s retirement, Snowe’s retirement, and the nominating process on the republican side, the democrats are going to hold the senate. The republicans might INCREASE their hold on the house, and Barack Obama is going to teach a tactical and strategic lesson for the ages to republicans. Unless Mitt Romney out-Soptics Obama.
In other words, the stalemate is going to deepen, the PAC’s and SUPERPAC’s by the Burton’s are going to ensure the parties cannot work together on finding a BATHROOM.
Nothing Barack Obama proposes will EVER get passed. Nothing the House passes will ever get to the floor in the Senate, and therefore will never get to be vetoed by the INSTANT lame, and even MORE irrelevant president. Nothing proposed in the Senate by either side will ever get to the floor in their own house.  The president will do more and more by executive fiat, until he hits some SERIOUS resistance, from the people who actually pay in to the support of the other half of the population which provides Obama’s underlying support.
We are witnessing the end the of the USA’s inner ideas of success. Obama will have convinced America that if you succeed, build, invent, expand, buy, improve, or prune one business to save others, YOU SUCCEEDED BY DOING SOMETHING BAD, SOMEHOW SOMEPLACE.
The polarization will be complete. From top to bottom in american society a super elite, self entitled, Costa del Sol vacationing, golf playing, finger wagging, lecturing and hectoring political class will have convinced those who have been talked out TRYING to excel and strive and risk, since the deck is stacked to begin with, that they are OWED something by those who MUST HAVE DONE something bad to get what they have.
The people who produce, invent, employ, and risk, will just ease up 3 or 4 percent without even intending to, without even thinking they are doing so, without even noticing, and like the housing market decline of JUST A FEW PERCENT in 2006-7, destroy the world financial market. Make no mistake, either, without american consumer demand there will be no miracle from China, there will be no growing middle class for the dormtoried serfs of Foxconn in Shenzen. There will be no ultimate driving machines for investment bankers ANYWHERE. There will be no second mortgages for pools, or medical school degrees.
And I wonder then, in say 8-12 years, amid calls by both sides to cut Social Security, Medicare, Food Stamps, the military, veterans benefits, farm subsidies, and INCREASE TAXES AS THEY HAVE IN FRANCE, AFTER inflationary printing is seen to be failing, to keep a federal govt, and states and local govts RUNNING as tax revenues evaporate - what we will be thinking of the tactics of the Obama campaign, and Mr. Joe Soptic, whose blatant lies about his tragedy are triggering the polls we see now?
Bill Burton, Stephanie Cutter, David Axelrod, and David Plouffe, are the tactical sergeants for General Obama.

Obama: Don't Fire Me, "We've Got Too Many Jobs To Create"

From the Washington Examiner:

President Obama urged Colorado voters to support him today by citing, among others, the very reason that he remains a vulnerable incumbent.
“[W]e’ve come too far to turn back now,” Obama said in Pueblo, Colo. “We’ve got too much more work to do. We’ve got too many good jobs we’ve got to create. We’ve got too many teachers we still need to hire. We’ve got too many schools we need to rebuild.” He also emphasized his belief in the renewable energy industry in Colorado, the need to support college students, and to disengage the military from foreign conflicts.

Obama believes hiring more teachers, building more schools, and putting more money into "renewable energy" is going to create more jobs.

This quote is almost as stupid as his "You didn't build that" quote.

Thank you, Barack.

By the way, the concept of "Creating Jobs" is this: The increased demand for a product, and increased revenue from sales, comes together to create a situation in which a business needs more workers AND can afford to hire them.

That notion is completely absent in the above quote from Barack Obama, the President of the United States of America.

The man simply does not know how business works.

Muslim Men Convicted of Child Sex Offences

Pimping Children

From the BBC:

Two brothers from Telford have been found guilty of a string of sexual offences against young girls.
Ahdel Ali, 24, and Mubarek Ali, 29, both of Regent Street, Wellington, were also convicted of controlling child prostitution and trafficking girls.
Between them, the pair were convicted of 25 out of 26 charges and are due to be sentenced at a later date.
Stafford Crown Court heard the offences took place in the Telford area between March 2008 and December 2009.
The jury heard the brothers had sexually abused, trafficked, prostituted or tried to prostitute four Telford teenagers.
Ahdel Ali was also found guilty of raping a girl as young as 13.
One teenager was sold as a prostitute by Mubarek Ali when she was four months pregnant.
'Systematically groomed'The court was told one of the other victims was regularly sold for sex to workers at two Telford restaurants and a Wellington fish and chip shop, as well as to associates of the two brothers.
Giving evidence, the 19-year-old said that from age 16 she had been taken to have sex with men up to four times a week.
Det Ch Insp Neil Jamieson, of West Mercia Police, said: "Ahdel Ali and Mubarek Ali targeted these girls because of the vulnerability and then systematically groomed them in such a way that eventually they could exploit them sexually for their own gain and gratification."
The trial itself was a scandal.

Earlier on, their lawyer, a Muslim himself, had attempted to force one of the young girls to read details of her sexual abuse into the record in open court:

A judge was forced to intervene after a barrister tried to force an alleged victim of child-sex grooming to read out graphic details of her alleged abuse.
The witness, suggested to be a 'compulsive liar' and a 'wicked woman' by defence barrister Tayyab Khan, is one of seven alleged victims in a sex exploitation trial at Stafford Crown Court.
But the 19-year-old, who cannot be named, left the stand in tears as she was asked to read out her account of an alleged sexual assault on her by her step-father - unrelated to the sex exploitation trial - that she made to police in 2005.
The teenager was asked why she had retracted her claim her step-father raped her when she was 13.
She said when she told her mother, the allegation was reported to police, but she retracted it a day later to protect her 'because I didn't want my mum to be upset', the jury was told.
The alleged victim, the third of the seven alleged victims to give evidence at the three month trial, insisted it was not a false allegation, according to The Times.
Mr Khan suggested she had invented the story and asked her to read out details of the abuse she claimed to have suffered.
Crying, she read out a section of her account, and broke down a second time.

After some members of the jury shook their heads at her distress, judge Robin Onions stepped in and said: 'It's extremely painful for the witness, Mr Khan. Why can't you read it to her?'
Later, Mr Khan said: 'You are a compulsive liar. You have told lies about my client, also?'
