Mossad: "Stuxnet is our Baby" Pres Obama disclosed it for electoral reasons

From Will at The Other News, via The Atlantic:
Mossad: "Stuxnet is our Baby" Pres Obama disclosed it for electoral reasons.(TA).Israel’s officials have a message for anyone praising the CIA for its sophisticated cyber attack on Iran: It was our baby. The Stuxnet computer worm, described by David Sanger in The New York Times last week as an invention by the Bush administration, was actually developed by Mossad, according to Israeli officials speaking with Haaretz journalist Yossi Melman on condition of anonymity:

The Israeli officials actually told me a different version. They said that it was Israeli intelligence that began, a few years earlier, a cyberspace campaign to damage and slow down Iran’s nuclear intentions. And only later they managed to convince the USA to consider a joint operation — which, at the time, was unheard of.

From The Daily Caller:

President Barack Obama’s deputies are holding “hundreds” of closed-door meetings with a jihad-linked lobbying group that is widely derided by critics as a U.S. arm of the theocratic Muslim Brotherhood.

The admission of meetings with the Council on American-Islamic Relations came from George Selim, the White House’s new director for community partnerships, which was formed in January to ensure cooperation by law enforcement and social service agencies with Muslim identity groups in the United States.

“There is hundreds of examples of departments and agencies that meet with CAIR on a range of issues,” he told The Daily Caller, after being asked if his office refuses to meet with any Muslim groups.

CAIR is “the group with the worst record of deception and the deepest ties to terrorists,” said Steven Emerson, the director of the Investigative Project on Terrorism, which tracks the public activities of Islamist lobbying groups.

“The White House is so clueless and/or compromised” when dealing with the brotherhood, said Robert Spencer, the author of several books about Islam and jihad. CAIR, he said, is “the political front of a radically repressive, Jew-hating, woman-hating organization.”

The House of Representatives last month prodded the Department of Justice to end all contacts with CAIR.

“The [appropriations] committee understands that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has an existing policy prohibiting its employees from engaging in any formal non-investigative cooperation with CAIR [and] the committee encourages the attorney general to adopt a similar policy for all department officials,” said the committee report accompanying the 2013 Commerce, Justice, Science Appropriations bill, passed in mid-May by the House.

TheDC interviewed Selim during a June 7 State Department conference on diversity that was hosted by the Office of the Special Representative to Muslim Communities.

After he admitted the extensive ties, Selim declined to explain further. He walked away, but returned to insist to TheDC that it cannot record his comments.

The office’s deputy director, Adnan Kifayat, also berated TheDC for taping the interview with Selim. “That was wrong… it is really bad form,” he said.

“You’re putting a career at risk by asking [questions] without telling him… you cannot ambush people and expect them to actually cooperate,” Kifayet said, adding that TheDC could have committed a felony by recording Selim when he was using a cellphone shortly before the interview.

Kifayat’s boss is Farah Pandith. She is a Muslim born in Kashmir, which is divided between India and Pakistan. Jihad groups from Pakistan have attacked Indian civilians and soldiers in the province since 1949 when India and Pakistan split amid a bloody war.

Selim’s outreach office is controversial because critics say its cooperation policy accepts the separatist demand by CAIR and other Muslim advocacy groups that they — not elected politicians — represent the nation’s 2 million-plus Muslim residents and citizens.

Robert Spencer sums it up: "Hamas-linked CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case -- so named by the Justice Department. CAIR operatives have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR's cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements. Its California chapter distributed posters telling Muslims not to talk to the FBI."

June 8, A.D. 632

From Jihad Watch:
"'A'isha and Abdullah reported: As the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) was about to breathe his last, he drew his sheet upon his face and when he felt uneasy, he uncovered his face and said in that very state: Let there be curse upon the Jews and the Christians that they have taken the graves of their apostles as places of worship. He in fact warned (his men) against what they (the Jews and the Christians) did." -- Sahih Muslim 1082

"Narrated 'Aisha: Allah's Apostle in his fatal illness said, 'Allah cursed the Jews and the Christians, for they built the places of worship at the graves of their prophets.' And if that had not been the case, then the Prophet's grave would have been made prominent before the people. So (the Prophet ) was afraid, or the people were afraid that his grave might be taken as a place for worship." -- Sahih Bukhari 2.23.472

According to Islamic tradition, Muhammad died on June 8, 632, after once again cursing the Jews and Christians.

As for the historical reliability of these traditions, see here. But the Muslim contempt and hatred for Jews and Christians remains.

Obama on June 8, 2012

Note how Obama handled the question about leaks that jeopardize national and international security (@ time marker 22:57ff):

I listened to the press conference live and thought at the time, as I listened to his speech patterns and vocal tones, "He's not handling that question well. Too much rambling. He knows that this question is filled with land mines." When I viewed the video this morning, I paid particular attention to his eyes and his gestures. What's going on there?

Gangs raping and sexually exploiting vulnerable white young girls ‘is an Asian problem’, top Crown prosecutor admits

Even when the U.K. admits the nature of a problem, it still lies in the most fundamental ways. Chinese, Japanese, Korean (yes even North) Thai, Burmese, Hindus Etc. etc. should really sue the British government, the BBC and the state of England and the UK in general for this continued grotesque and defacto racist policy of calling crimes that are inspired and motivated by the ideology of Islam and blaming it on people from the continent of Asia, as if that geographical point of origin is what mattered.
This is grotesque racism of the very worst kind. Yet the British do it to shield the ideology that is in fact responsible, compounding this crime.

From The Daily Mail:

  • After a spate of cases Nazir Afzal says it is impossible not to notice ‘that the perpetrators were Asian and the victims were not’
  • In the last year several gangs have been prosecuted for targeting young, vulnerable white girls and abusing them
  • Home Affairs Select Committee to take evidence on the issue next week after urgent hearing called

Stand: Crown chief prosecutor for the north west Nazir Afzal, pictured, has admitted the exploitation of white girls is an 'Asian problem'
Stand: Crown chief prosecutor for the north west Nazir Afzal, pictured, has admitted the exploitation of white girls is an ‘Asian problem’
The sexual exploitation and grooming of young vulnerable white girls is a ‘particular problem in Asian communities’, one of Britain’s top prosecutors admitted for the first time today.
In a year when several paedophile gangs were convicted of raping and prostituting victims in north west England, Nazir Afzal says it is impossible not to notice ‘that the perpetrators were Asian and the victims were not.’
The Chief Crown Prosecutor for the region added that ‘cultural baggage and the status of women among some men in these communities contributes to their disrespect for the rights of women.’

IBA Stands With Ace of Spades, Patterico, and Others In Their Fight Against Kimberlin, Swatting, and the Arrest of Bloggers For Practicing Their First Amendment Rights

From Ace

The upside-down flag is an unofficial symbol of distress, an SOS.

It's also a symbol of America itself turned upside down.

In the face of harassment and threats against the right to free speech, allies of liberty are fond of saying "We will not be silenced."

It's a statement that projects confidence, defiance, and vigorous defense of one's rights.
But, as noble as this declaration may be, it's not wholly true.

Because a sufficiently painful harassment, or a sufficiently grave threat, will in fact silence those who would otherwise enter the public square.

Two people have already been silenced. One man has been arrested -- arrested, for blogging about the criminal history of Brett Kimberlin, and for describing his ongoing ordeal at Kimberlin's hands.

Unless Congress acts -- and acts swiftly -- there will be still further innocent citizens subjected to Brett Kimberlin's lawless vigilantism.

Alabama Protects Citizens From “Insidious” U.N. Agenda 21 Implementation

Via IBD:

Property Rights: Few have heard of Agenda 21, the U.N. plan for sustainable development that tosses property rights aside. But Alabama has, and it recently secured a victory as important as that over union power in Wisconsin.
After Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s stunning triumph over the excesses and abuses of public-sector unions, the London Telegraph’s James Delingpole, an indefatigable opponent of global warming fraud, opined in a piece titled, “How Wisconsin And Alabama Helped Save The World,” that we should take note of “an equally important but perhaps less well-publicized victory won in the Alabama House and Senate over the U.N.’s malign and insidious Agenda 21.”
Agenda 21 is one of those compacts, like Law of the Sea, Kyoto and New START, that are supported by an apologetic administration with a fondness for the redistribution of American power and wealth on a local and global scale.
It fits in perfectly with President Obama’s pledge to “fundamentally transform” America, its institutions and its heritage of capitalist freedom.
Agenda 21 has not been ratified by the U.S. Senate, but it may not have to be if in a second Obama term the Environmental Protection Agency pursues it by stealth, as it has other environmental agendas that make war on the free enterprise system and rights we hold dear.
One of those is property rights. “Land . . . cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market,” Agenda 21 says.
“Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth and therefore contributes to social injustice; if unchecked, it may become a major obstacle in the planning and implementation of development schemes.”

"The Private Sector Is Doing Fine”

Whom the gods would destroy ,.....

Obama is heading for the moment where in der BUNKER, surrounded by Axelrod, Jarret, Burton and Holder he complains of Steiner’s failure to attack.
The truth of the matter is that, as I said, we created 4.3 million jobs over the last 27 months, over 800,000 just this year alone.

The private sector is doing fine. Where we’re seeing weaknesses in our economy have to do with state and local government. Oftentimes cuts initiated by, you know, Governors or mayors who are not getting the kind of help that they have in the past from the federal government and who don’t have the same kind of flexibility as the federal government in dealing with fewer revenues coming in.

And so, you know, if Republicans want to be helpful, if they really want to move forward and put people back to work, what they should be thinking about is how do we help state and local governments

Holder Claims Emails Citing “Fast and Furious” Are Not Related to “Fast and Furious” Operation

Former ACORN Director Gets $445 MILLION From US Government

The Obama Administration has given a former ACORN official nearly HALF A BILLION DOLLARS after leaving the corrupt far left group.
Judicial Watch

The Obama Administration has given a former director at the scandal-plagued Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) nearly half a billion dollars to offer “struggling” Illinois homeowners mortgage assistance, a Judicial Watch investigation has found.
It means the ACORN official (Joe McGavin) will go from operating a corrupt leftist community group that’s banned by Congress from receiving federal funding to controlling over $445 million in U.S. taxpayer funds. The money is part of a $7.6 billion Treasury Department program to help the “unemployed or substantially underemployed” make their mortgage payments.
In this case, JW found that a subcomponent of the state-run Illinois Housing Development Authority, known as the Illinois Hardest Hit Program, has just received a generous $445,603,557 Treasury infusion. The Obama Administration established Hardest Hit in 2010 to provide targeted aid to families in states hit hardest by the economic and housing market downturn, according to its website.
In early 2011 McGavin was appointed as director of Hardest Hit. Before that he was director of counseling for ACORN Housing in Chicago and operations manager for a Chicago ACORN offshoot called Affordable Housing Centers of America (AHCOA). His strong ties to ACORN make him a suspect candidate to handle such a huge amount of taxpayer dollars.
The Obama-tied community organization supposedly shut down after a series of exposés about its illegal activities.

A Never-Ending Avalanche of Shit

Man, the news has been NON-STOP BAD for Obama lately.

There's the Clinton subterfuge (undermining the very meme - that Romney was a vulture Capitalist - that propped up Obama's candidacy) and the devastating Wisconsin loss weren't enough, now we have Holder on record talking about Fast and Furious and his answer is, essentially, "I wasn't talking about THAT Fast and Furious."

The New Party thing is back and proven to be true this time. Obama really did join the Socialist New Party back in 1997, even though his Campaign officially denied it in 2008.

Now admittedly, the The New Party thing is not going to pierce the consciousness of the American Public. It's too obscure. And Fast and Furious is, as of this juncture, too complicated, but I get the sense that this is building, and there is a lot more to come.

For instance, Issa is also accusing Holder of stonewalling on the Holy Land Foundation, and of course, we know Holder completely destroyed the Black Panthers Voter Intimidation case. Maybe Holder will have more on that front as well?

Additionally, the rug was pulled out from underneath the Zimmerman case, and today Dershowitz says that the Public Prosecutor in Florida called Harvard and went on a 40 minute rant saying she was going to sue the school for Dershowitz exercising his right to free speech. The net effect of this is, it is becoming obvious that not only is Zimmerman innocent, but the prosecutor is playing politics and willing to outright lie (a lie through the purposeful excising of information pertinent to the charges) in order to bring charges against the young man.

This would not reflect on Obama and Holder except that they both stepped into it in a very nasty manner, by insisting that the case was an example of how America is still racist. It looks like racism has actually gone the other way, against the "White Hispanic" Zimmerman, and the White Public in general. Surprise, surprise.

And, of course, in the past few weeks there has also been

the jobs report (which is really the most devastating of all)

the Anna Wintour (Devil Wears Prada) Obama Campaign commercial,

the outright lie that Obama has spent LESS money than any other President,

more and more association with the  Hollywood elit,

and the sense that the Obama's are completely out of touch with the pulse of America just grows and grows.

It's just getting worse and worse for Obama.

What could shift the attention away from Obama's failures? He'll be grasping at any sleight of hand he can think of, that I can assure you. The ultimate would be to bomb Iran. Obama may be forced to become a man in the eyes of the public, and continue the tradition of American Military Might that he so loathes.

Truth is, he'd probably fuck that up too.

Notice Obama's bragging about Osama seems to have garnered him no favor, in fact, I think it has had the opposite effect. The American public seems to see right through the churlish President suddenly playing he-man Warrior, bragging of his gutsy call like a still in-the-closet wannabe tough guy stuck on a barstool with no prospects at 1:55 AM.

AND, I forgot to mention the fact that FEINSTEIN is calling for investigation into the Bin Laden Operation leaks, as well as the leaks surrounding the Stuxnet virus.

This is a lot of shit all at once.

Has any President ever had such a mountain of shit coming down on him all at once?

From Mark Halperin:
With five months until Election Day, Barack Obama faces a grim new reality: Republicans now believe Mitt Romney can win, and Democrats believe Obama can lose ...

Last week's anemic job-creation and economic-growth data was sandwiched between

two Bill Clinton specials: in one television interview,

the 42nd President lauded Romney's business record as "sterling";

in another, he veered from the Obama line on the extension of Bush-era tax cuts ...

The failure to unseat Wisconsin's Republican governor Scott Walker in a recall election was another bad sign for Democrats since it will rev up conservatives nationwide, including the kind of millionaires who gave big bucks to Walker's effort ...

Holder Claims Emails Using Words 'Fast and Furious' Don't Refer to Operation Fast and Furious

From CNS:
(CNSNews.com) – Attorney General Eric Holder claimed during congressional testimony today that internal Justice Department emails that use the phrase “Fast and Furious” do not refer to the controversial gun-walking operation Fast and Furious.

Under questioning from Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), who read excerpts of the emails at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Justice Department oversight, Holder claimed that the phrase “Fast and Furious” did not refer to Fast and Furious but instead referred to another gun-walking operation known as “Wide Receiver.”
However, the emails refer to both programs -- "Fast and Furious" and the "Tucson case," from where Wide Receiver was launched -- and reveal Justice Department officials discussing how to handle media scrutiny when both operations become public.

Among three of the emails (see Jason Weinstein Email Fast, Furious.pdf), the second, dated “October 17, 2010  11:07 PM,” was sent by Deputy Assistant Attorney General Jason Weinstein to James Trusty and it states:  “Do you think we should have Lanny participate in press when Fast and Furious and Laura’s Tucson case [Wide Receiver] are unsealed? It’s a tricky case, given the number of guns that have walked, but it is a significant set of prosecutions.”

In the third email, dated Oct. 18, 2010, James Trusty writes back to Weinstein: “I think so, but the timing will be tricky, too. Looks like we’ll be able to unseal the Tucson case sooner than the Fast and Furious (although this may be just the difference between Nov. and Dec).”

“It’s not clear how much we’re involved in the main F and F [Fast and Furious] case,” reads the email, “but we have Tucson [Wide Receiver] and now a new unrelated case with [redacted] targets. It’s not any big surprise that a bunch of US guns are being used in MX [Mexico], so I’m not sure how much grief we get for ‘guns walking.’ It may be more like ‘Finally, they’re going after people who sent guns down there.’”  (See Jason Weinstein Email Fast, Furious.pdf)

Operation Wide Receiver was run out of Tucson, Ariz., between 2006 and 2007 by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), a division of the Justice Department.

In his testimony, Holder said that the emails only referred to Operation Wide Receiver.

Holder told the committee: “That refers to Wide Receiver, not to Fast and Furious. The e-mail that you [Rep. Chaffetz] just read [between Trusty and Weinstein] – now this is important – that email referred to Wide Receiver, it did not refer to Fast and Furious. That has to be noted for the record.”

Operation Fast and Furious was carried out by the ATF.  It began in the fall of 2009 and continued into early 2011, during which time the federal government purposefully allowed known or suspected gun smugglers to purchase guns at federally licensed firearms dealers in Arizona. The government did not seek to abort these gun purchases, intercept the smugglers after the purchases, or recover the guns they had purchased.
In some cases, as the government expected they would, the smugglers delivered the guns to Mexican drug trafficking organizations.  Two rifles sold to a smuggler in the course of Operation Fast and Furious in January 2010 ended up at the scene of the murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in December 2010.

REPORT: 'Mole' inside DOJ

With the help of a mole, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) has turned the tables on Attorney General Eric Holder.
Issa has long been exasperated with Holder, claiming that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has been withholding information on a controversial gun-running operation. But through an anonymous source, Issa has obtained information about the initiative that is under a federal court-ordered seal.

Giving such information out is a federal crime, raising the question of whether the Justice Department will seek to prosecute what Republicans are calling a whistleblower.

Issa has asked the DOJ for the documents — wiretap applications it used in the botched federal gun-tracking Operation Fast and Furious — for months. The California lawmaker has taken preliminary steps to move contempt-of-Congress citations against Holder, but it remains unclear if GOP leaders support that move. This new controversy could help Issa attract more Republican support for a contempt-of-Congress resolution.

If Holder does launch an investigation into where the leak originated, the powerful Republican could paint the move as an attempt by the DOJ to hide the documents’ contents. It would also raise the possibility that DOJ investigators will seek information from Issa, who has been trying to determine who approved the “gun-walking” tactics used in Fast and Furious along the U.S.-Mexico border.

On the other hand, not launching a probe would mean turning a blind eye to a criminal breach and could lead Issa’s source and others to reveal other information sealed by a judge.

Issa told Fox News on Wednesday that he has no intention of shining the light on his source: “We’re not going to make our whistleblower available. That’s been one of the most sensitive areas, because some of the early whistleblowers are already feeling retribution. They’re being treated horribly.”

Asked earlier this week where he got the wiretap applications, Issa told The Hill, “You can ask, but you should have no expectation of an answer. By the way, if I asked you where you got yours, would you give me your sources?”

Where America Is Headed

The road to serfdom:

From ABC News:
A number of conservative bloggers allege they have been targeted through the use of harassment tactics such as SWAT-ting (fooling 911 operators into sending emergency teams to their homes), in retaliation for posts they have written, and now Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., has stepped into the matter. He has sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder urging him to investigate the SWAT-ting cases to see if federal laws have been violated.

“I am writing with concern regarding recent reports that several members of the community of online political commentators have been targeted with harassing and frightening actions. Any potentially criminal action that incites fear, seeks to silence a dissenting opinion, and collaterally wastes the resources of law enforcement should be given close scrutiny at all levels,” Chambliss wrote in the letter.

“Regardless of any potential political differences that may exist, threats and intimidation have no place in our national political discourse. Those who choose to enter into that political discourse should not have to worry about potential threats to their or their family’s safety,” Chambliss continued.  “While I am certain that local law enforcement is reviewing each of these instances, I am asking you to please look into each of these cases as well to determine if any federal laws may have been violated. Future targets of SWAT-ting, whether engaged in political speech or not, may not be so fortunate as to escape physical harm.”

The Bibb County District Attorney’s office in Georgia currently is investigating the case and could not offer comment on it.  Asked who he suspected was responsible for the phone call to police, Erickson declined to speculate.

But several conservative bloggers have been vocal about who they believe is responsible for the SWAT-tings and other forms of harassment — Brett Kimberlin, a man who was convicted of a series of bombings in Speedway, Indiana in the 1980s and made headlines in 1988 when he claimed to have once sold marijuana to then-vice presidential candidate Dan Quayle.

The group of conservative bloggers organized “Everybody Blog About Brett Kimberlin Day” on May 25, during which they urged the blogging community to write about the actions of Kimberlin.

Kimberlin, who is now the director of a non-profit organization called Justice Through Music, told ABC News that he did not commit or ask anyone to conduct the SWAT-ting hoaxes that were perpetrated against Erickson and Frey.

“Of course not, it’s ridiculous.  It’s totally irresponsible for them to even say this,” Kimberlin told ABC News.   “There is no truth to anything about the SWAT-ting.”

But some conservative bloggers contend Kimberlin and his associates are responsible for other forms of harassment as well.  Robert Stacy McCain, a contributor to the American Spectator and founder of The Other McCain Blog, wrote about Kimberlin, and shortly after, his wife’s place of employment received a phone call from Kimberlin accusing McCain of harassment.  Based on Kimberlin’s ability to find his wife’s employer, McCain became concerned Kimberlin also knew the location of his home, so the McCain family relocated to an undisclosed location.

“If I was going to continue doing this story, I couldn’t do it from my home,” McCain told ABC News. ”This kind of intimidation — it’s a threat to protected first amendment expression.”

“It’s being treated as these are just bloggers playing around on Twitter, but this is serious business.  It’s much more serious I think than most people now realize,” McCain said.

Ali Akbar, the president of the National Blogger’s Club, an organization established to support bloggers, recently was targeted by an anonymous website which posted the address of his mother’s home in Forth Worth, Texas, along with a picture of the house. Akbar and other bloggers believe the website, “Breitbart Unmasked,” is linked to Kimberlin.

The National Blogger’s Club recently started a relief fund to help ease the financial woes of bloggers who are undergoing lawsuits, including one lawsuit by Kimberlin against blogger Aaron Walker, and Akbar believes the anonymous post of his mother’s home address was a response to the creation of this fund.
“They decided to take this from a discussion about me trying to help some members of my club, and they tried to disable us,” Akbar said.

Akbar and his mother are cooperating with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s office regarding the incident.

Kimberlin denied he was responsible for the post, even saying that he does not maintain any online presence and said he and his family have been victims of threats themselves and accused the bloggers of constructing a “false narrative” about him.

“I don’t blog, I don’t comment, I don’t tweet on any blogs at all.  This is a right-wing attack on me and my organizations and it’s a smear job. It’s a swift boat action against us,” Kimberlin said. “What they’re doing is an obstruction of justice and it’s defamatory.  We’re cooperating with the authorities in this matter.  They have engaged in a massive smear campaign against us that has resulted in death threats to me and my family and to others associated with us.”

Taiwan-basedWant China Times (WCT)reported that the clash broke out Monday night at a male dormitory for Foxconn workers. Security guards had attempted to stop a thief, when several employees with grudges against the officers forced them away.
The situation rapidly escalated, and up to 1,000 workers eventually joined in, WCT reported. Workers threw trash bins, chairs, pots, bottles, and even fireworks from the upper floors of the building, destroying public facilitates.
The riot ended after two hours, after dorm administrators reported the case to local police and hundreds of officers arrived at the scene to suppress the violence. Dozens were arrested.
Foxconn, the world’s largest electronic contract manufacturer, employs up to 120,000 people at its plant in Chengdu, located in southwestern China. The factory mainly produces liquid crystal displays for electronic products such as Apple’s iPhone.
Foxconn has repeatedly come under fire for harsh working conditions. Late last month, a watchdog group released astudythat criticized Foxconn for limited freedoms, inhumane treatment, and unsafe working conditions, among other things. An earlierApple-commissioned reportfrom the Fair Labor Association found abuses at Foxconn facilities, but said that the firm had agreed to make changes.
ABC’s Nightlinealso gained access to a Foxconn factory recently, and did not uncover any particularly shocking conditions, while This American Life was forced to retract a controversial episode about Apple factories in China that featured storyteller Mike Daisey. An explosion at the Chengdu factory last year killed two workers and injured 16 others.

Watchdog Group Slams Foxconn Working Conditions (Again)

A watchdog group released astudythis week that criticizes Foxconn for limited freedoms, inhumane treatment, and unsafe working conditions, among other things.
China, Students & Scholars Against Corporate Misbehaviour (SACOM) visited Foxconn production sites in Zhengzhou and Shenzhen - where various Apple products are produced - between March and May 2012 and found that labor rights violations “remain the norm.”
SACOM was not comforted byan Apple-commissioned reportfrom the Fair Labor Association (FLA), which also found abuses at Foxconn facilities, but said that the firm had agreed to make changes.
Foxconn workers do not have access to the FLA report, SACOM said, and promised cutbacks to overtime will reduce wages. Still, the group also complained about excessive overtime for iPad workers, which caused many to miss Chinese New Year celebrations.
SACOM also said that workers are forced to sign up for a company-controlled union without knowing what that entails. They must also endure “humiliating” disciplinary action like the writing and reading of confession letters and manual labor like toilet cleaning.
Foxconn did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
This is not the first time SACOM has criticized Foxconn. In May 2011,the group released a reportthat said most Foxconn employees were working long hours for little pay, battling exposure to dust and harmful chemicals, and undergoing “military style” training sessions.
Working conditions at Foxconn have received a lot of press lately, prompting the Apple-sponsored FLA inspections. ABC’s Nightlinealso gained access to a Foxconn factory recently, which did not uncover any particularly shocking conditions, while This American Life was forced to retract a controversial episode about Apple factories in China that featured storyteller Mike Daisey.

Egypt: Hamas Leader Visits Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide In Cairo…

Via Egypt Independent:
A senior Hamas official made a 20-minute visit Wednesday morning to the Muslim Brotherhood’s Moqattam headquarters in Cairo.
The visit by Moussa Abu Marzouk, vice chairman of the Palestinian faction’s politburo, coincided with the Brotherhood’s weekly meeting and election planning to support presidential candidate Mohamed Morsy.
An informed source at the Brotherhood’s Guidance Bureau told Al-Masry Al-Youm that Marzouk came to check on the health of Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie, who underwent an operation following the first round of elections last month. The same source said they did not discuss Brotherhood-Hamas relations.
Observers believe Hamas — widely considered to be an offshoot of the Brotherhood — will likely enjoy stronger relations with Egypt’s future leaders in light of the expanding political influence of the Brotherhood, which controls more than 40 percent of Parliament’s lower house, the People’s Assembly.
In May, a senior official at Palestinian faction Fatah, Azzam al-Ahmed, said a Morsy victory would make Hamas a more stringent negotiator and affect reconciliation efforts between the rival factions.

London-Based Shiite Cleric Yasser Al-Habib in Anti-Sunni Rhetoric: The Caliph Omar Had an Anal Disease that Made Him Addicted to Homosexuality.

From Memri:

Video Transcript - London-Based Shiite Cleric Yasser Al-Habib in Anti-Sunni Rhetoric: The Caliph Omar Had an Anal Disease that Made Him Addicted to Homosexuality.(Memri).

Following are excerpts from an address by London-based Kuwaiti Shiite cleric Yasser Habib, which aired on Fadak TV on May 24, 2012. Fadak TV is dominated by Sheik Habib, who fled Kuwait in 2004 following a one-year prison term for cursing the Caliphs Omar and Abu Bakr and Prophet Muhammad’s wife Aisha. He was then sentenced in absentia for 10 years in prison. In September 2010, Kuwait revoked his citizenship.

Yasser Habib: Anyone who consents to being called “Emir of the Believers” is a passive homosexual. Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, for example, who willingly assumed this title, was, without a doubt, a passive homosexual. The same goes for the caliphs Othman Ibn Affan, Muawiyya, Yazid, and the rulers and sultans of the Umayyad and Abbasid dynasties, as well as some of the rulers and sultans of our day and age. For example, the king of Morocco bears this title, and he is referred to as “the Emir of the Believers” by the [Moroccan] media. This is how you know that he is a passive homosexual.

This is in addition to the evidence revealed by Western media, which showed that the current king of Morocco is indeed a passive homosexual who belongs to the homosexual community. This was leaked from his palace by his assistants, his servants, and his “boys,” whom he would penetrate and who would penetrate him. They fled to Europe, sought asylum, and exposed all this.

Another such example is the person who ruled Afghanistan for a short time – the so-called Mullah Omar.

It is told [in the hadith] that Omar Ibn Al-Khattab had an anal disease, which could be cured only by semen. One should know that this is a well-known medical condition, which is also mentioned in sacred texts. Someone who, God forbid, has been penetrated in the anus – a worm grows within him, due to the semen discharged in him... A disease develops in his anus, and as a result, he cannot calm down, unless... That’s right, it becomes like an addiction, and he cannot calm down unless he is penetrated again and again.

The Shiites are undoubtedly protected from this disease, and from committing this abominable and hideous act.

Islam: The Religion of Cunninlingus and Vagina Worship, or Muff-Diving the Meteorite

The Little Man In The Boat

Ever wondered why Muslims bow to Mecca? If they were bowing to God then they wouldn't have to face in exactly one direction, because God is everywhere.

So what are they bowing to - the city itself? But Catholics don't bow to Rome, and Anglicans don't bow to Canterbury, and Mormons don't bow to Salt Lake City.

So what's so special about Mecca? What part of the city are they actually worshiping? Surely they aren't worshipping the entire city, including hotels, car parks, shops, electricity substations, public toilets and all the rest of the urban infrastructure?

No, in fact they're worshiping one specific object in the city - Allah's sacred meteorite.

If you ever see pictures of them milling around in Mecca they are all circling a cubic building called the Kaaba. And set into the wall of that building is a meteorite enclosed by a vessel shaped like a woman's quim that they all try to kiss. Sometimes they get so sexually excited at the thought of the pious pussy that they stampede and kill one another in their efforts to muff-dive the meteorite.

The mingy meteorite was an object of worship long before Islam reared its ugly head, so what it's got to do with Allah is a bit of a mystery. Maybe it represents one of Allahs daughters, but as a Muslim father, wouldn't that get him murderously mad at all the wanabe quim-lickers sniffing around his girls' sacred snatch? Perhaps that's why he sets them stampeding.

Or maybe it means that Islam is some sort of tribal fertility cult that Mohammed duped people into believing was a proper religion.

But one thing is for certain. When Muslims accuse other religions of idolatry, they are the biggest hypocrites on earth. What could be more idolatrous than worshipping a hunk of space junk tarted up to look like a twat?

One more thought. The Jews treated the Temple with such reverence that no man was allowed a glimpse of the whole thing. Hebrews 9:1-9 tells us that in the temple a veil separated the Holy of Holies—the earthly dwelling place of God’s presence—from the rest of the temple where men dwelt.

Likewise, we find that Muslims separate themselves from the vagina they worship, by enshrouding their women in the Burqa. This is more evidence that, in Islam, it is the Vagina that is being worshiped, not Allah.

Or, perhaps, Allah, himself, is the earthly presence of the great mystical Vagina of Gaia.

One thing is for certain, Islam needs a good douching, and soon.

Mitt Romney Campaign Sets Up Satirical @Bill Clinton Twitter Site To Praise Romney, Bash Obama

Romney is a bulldog of a campaigner. Clinton is good with the whores.
(Politicker) — In their latest press release, the Romney campaign asked, “WHAT IF @Bill_Clinton12 WERE TWEETING?” They proceeded to answer their own question with a series of hypothetical Tweets from a @Bill_Clinton12 account.
The Romney campaign started their Bill Clinton Twitter fantasy by imagining what his recent statements defending Mr. Romney’s work at Bain Capital would sound like in Tweet form:
“@Bill_Clinton12: There’s no question that @MittRomney had a sterling business career.
@Bill_Clinton12: The Obama campaign shouldn’t be attacking @MittRomney’s private sector work.
@Bill_Clinton12: In my humble opinion, the time @MittRomney spent at Bain Capital was a good business career.”
The Romney campaign also converted some critical comments Mr. Clinton made about President Barack Obama in 200 into Tweets:
“@Bill_Clinton12: A vote for @BarackObama is a crap shoot — a roll of the dice.
@Bill_Clinton12: Why would you vote 4 @BarackObama with only 1 year in the Senate? Really?
@Bill_Clinton12: If you’re voting for @BarackObama you might as well vote for Chris Matthews!”
There is indeed a @Bill_Clinton12 account that seems to have been set up by the Romney campaign. It features a photo of Mr. Clinton playing the saxophone and a bio that says, “This is a parody account.”

Making Sure The Lies Are Told Properly

Media Protest U.S. Gov't Data Restrictions

News media advocates told Congress the U.S. Labor Department’s plan to require journalists to use government equipment for reporting jobless figures and other economic data would violate press freedom.

“The media takes government interference with its work product very seriously,” Lucy Dalglish, executive director of the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, told the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee at a hearing today in Washington.

“Requiring journalists to draft and publish stories using government-owned computers loaded with government-controlled software simply crosses a line the First Amendment clearly drew to separate the press from the government,” Dalglish said.

Bloomberg News and other media organizations have opposed changes in the Labor Department procedures. Agency officials plan to tell the committee the new policy is needed to ensure that sensitive economic figures aren’t released prematurely.

“We take our security responsibilities seriously,” agency spokesman Carl Fillichio said in prepared testimony. “Today, fractions of a second can equate to millions or even billions of dollars in market movements.”

Committee Chairman Darrell Issa urged the administration to reverse its plan. “When President Obama took office, he promised the American people he’d have ‘the most transparent administration in history,’” said Issa, a California Republican. “Almost four years later, more and more it seems that by their own actions, this administration is on the wrong side of transparency.”

Issa said the Labor Department didn’t release a security analysis it says justifies the policy changes.

Executives Testify

Under the policy, “the government would literally own reporters’ notebooks,” Bloomberg News Executive Editor Dan Moss told lawmakers at the hearing. Requiring journalists to work on government-owned computers “gives the government unfettered access to reporters’ notes and drafts,” he said.

The media organizations are in talks with the department about the policy. Rob Doherty, general manager for the U.S. of Reuters, the news division of Thomson Reuters, said he was optimistic that news organizations would work out an agreement before the planned July 6 implementation date for the new policy.

Doherty said his company’s technical staff has said it would be “nearly impossible” to be ready by then. Moss said Bloomberg may seek a court order to block the department’s requirement that media remove their private equipment by June 15 unless an agreement is signed soon.

Longstanding Practice

The policy, devised to improve data security, would change a longstanding practice that lets news organizations use their own computers, phone and data lines to file and transmit stories about unemployment figures and consumer prices from so-called lock-ups at the Labor Department.

Journalists are provided the data on an embargoed basis in advance to give them time to write and edit stories from the lock-up room at the department. When the data are released, a Labor Department official flips a switch to let news organizations transmit.

The agency has ordered them to remove software, hardware and communications lines they have installed at the department. Under the new procedures, reporters would be required to use government computer equipment, software and Internet connections.

“The public has benefited enormously from the process the department currently uses,” Rick Blum, coordinator of the Sunshine in Government Initiative, wrote May 8 in a letter to Labor Secretary Hilda Solis. “The practice used to this point ensures the simultaneous release of information while also providing time that enables reporters to place the new data in meaningful context.”

‘Point of Failure’

Requiring journalists to use government-provided software, hardware and dedicated lines would inhibit journalistic independence, and “as the government grows more concerned about cybersecurity, the proposed policy would create a single point of failure,” according to the letter.

The initiative’s members include the American Society of News Editors, the Online News Association and the Society of Professional Journalists.

Fillichio, in his prepared statement, said the changes are needed because news organizations have installed “increasingly more complex computer configurations” that at times have violated the agency’s security protocols.

Also, he said, “Algorithmic trading introduces new security variables into a lock-up system not originally designed to guard against market-moving disruptions that could be caused by the release of government data to certain traders just seconds before the rest of the general public.”

Excuse me, but didn’t we save your asses?

Gertz’s Geo Strategy Direct
Kuwaiti official accused of facilitating arms transfers to Hizbullah
ABU DHABI — Kuwait’s finance minister has been accused of being a partner in a company that helped sell weapons to Hizbullah and violate the international embargo on Iran.
Opposition parliamentarians said Mustafa Al Shamali directed the state-operated pension fund to work with Iran and Hizbullah.
“It [the government] does not have any self-respect,” opposition parliamentarian Osama Al Munawer said.
Al Shamali, who resigned his post on May 24, was accused of squandering billions of dollars in Kuwaiti government funds. They said Al Shamali headed a pension fund that was a partner with a Kuwaiti company that violated the embargo on Iran.
The company, which was not named, was also accused of helping Hizbullah procure weapons. Parliamentarian Abdul Rahman Al Anjari did not elaborate in the debate regarding the finance minister on May 24.
Kuwait, ruled by a Sunni family, contains a population that is nearly 50 percent Shi’ite. Opposition parliamentarians said members of the royal family have sought to profit on Western sanctions on Iran.
Al Shamali denied the accusations. The finance minister, in the post since 2006, asserted that he had been targeted for a personal vendetta.
Another parliamentarian, Mussalam Al Barrak, said the government wasted $20 billion in an offset program for defense and energy projects. The offset program required foreign companies to invest 35 percent in Kuwait.

% of USA in middle income neighborhoods in 1970? 65% 2012? 43%

This is a cassandra warning without the need of words.
The following is a fact:
In 1970 two-thirds of families lived in middle-income neighborhoods; by 2008 only 43 percent of families lived in such neighborhoods. At the same time, the percentage of families who lived in predominantly poor or predominantly affluent neighborhoods increased by more than 60 percent. By 2008 nearly one in three families in U.S. metropolitan areas lived in neighborhoods at the extremes of the local income spectrum.
There are many factors that contribute to income segregation, including housing policies, development patterns in the exurbs, and the structure of municipal boundaries in metropolitan areas. But much of the increase in residential income segregation can be attributed to the rapid growth in income inequality in the United States since 1970. As incomes have diverged, neighborhoods have grown more homogeneous. Not only do the rich have more resources than they did 40 years ago, they are far more likely to live in neighborhoods inhabited exclusively by high-income neighbors. The same is true of the poor, who are now much more likely than they were in 1970 to live in neighborhoods where the majority of their neighbors are poor.
I am not here to whine ABOUT the fact of these inequalities, but to ask WHY?
Might it have anything to do with the fact that in 1970 you could work for US Steel, Ford, Kaiser Aluminum, Dow, DuPont or any of the plants which supplied such industries with parts or service for 35 years, have a nice life, NOT force your wife to work if she chose to work by raising a family, and retire decently, whereas today 20,000 apply for 800 jobs at a Hyundai plant for 3rd shift? While these people are doing what? Working at Dunkin’s? Mcd’s? Delivering for a bankrupt Hostess?
Is there a point to being a chemical engineer, or when your entire industry is under interdiction by the EPA at the whim of some gaian freak whose ideology says if your title has the word chemical in it your attitude has been noticed?
Might this have anything to do with the FACT that the highest paying jobs, and their result in neighborhood segregation are in the Washington DC area? Did I miss the influx of Ford plants there?
Just as an inquiry, how large was the political class in 1970? What was their pay relative to workers who MADE THINGS in 1970?
Could these facts be related?
Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. That would be a paranoid, biased and unscientific conclusion by a unabrowed, troglodytic, dangerous anti elitist.
Sort of like concluding that a little bit of smoking is not THAT BAD FOR YOU, but a lot ….
