Another Molly Norris? Colorado Student Who Wouldn't Sing Song Praising Allah Quits School After Death Threats

Note from AOW....The boy's name is James Harper, not James Harbor. I've corrected the post to reflect the correct name.

The interview with James Harper, which appears in this video, was conducted before he dropped out of school. I think it is important to note that.

The kid, who I believe is heroic for standing by his beliefs, did not condemn Islam. Rather his intent was to avoid worshipping or praising a God other than his own.

That is perfectly acceptable behavior in a free society, is it not? That's why the Pilgrims came here in the first place, and it is much of the impetus behind our First Amendment protection of Freedom of Religion.

Note the news story does not say who it is that is threatening the kid.

Is James Harper going to end up being another Molly Norris?

Addendum from AOW....Below is the song this young man objected to:

A Colorado high school student says he quit the school choir after an Islamic song containing the lyric “there is no truth except Allah” made it into the repertoire.

The 5 pillars of Islam are:
1: Testimony (Shahadah or Declaration of Faith)

The first pillar is Shahada that means recognizing and acknowledging the monotheistic nature of Allah stands at the core of Islam.
This consists of a public affirmation that "there is no god but Allah (God), and Muhammad is His Messenger."
One cannot be a Muslim until he states this fact in the presence of Muslim witnesses.

So this sounds to me as a "Hidden' entrapment to convert people to Islam.
