CONTIGUOUS?

Barack Obama just claimed that the goal of the USA is to have a CONTIGUOUS Palestinian state, and a secure Israel???

What kind of geography class did this MORON TAKE?

Either Israel will be contiguous or Palestine will be contiguous

NOT BOTH

BHO is interesting in a contiguous Palestinian state, not in the security of Israel.

Either / Or - Not Both, Wow

Then Israel will have to pass (with permission) through two borders of the Palestinian state in order to travel by land from one piece to the other. You know what? These people act like rapists in every area of their life. Now they are trying to rape Israel. It's not going to happen.

The Palestinians already have their contiguous state . . . it's called Jordan.

Obama can pound sand. Bibi as much as said the same in today's response which Obama was visibly not taking very well.

I avoid watching Obama, but decided to check CNN for updates (while Fox kept announcing delays) to see if the WH was up to shenanigans again - delaying info to Fox.
I wasn't disappointed . . .Bibi’s response was a most satisfying retort to witness. Anyone watching this exchange witnessed a most uncomfortable Obama clenching one arm of the chair while shoving his chin up to keep his jaw from hitting the floor with the other.

Bill Clinton's Parameters during the Camp David Accords called for the same thing:

The Clinton Parameters proposed that the Palestinians gain between 94-96% of the West Bank and the entire Gaza Strip, with Israel annexing the remaining land, which would include almost all Israeli settlements, containing 80% of the settler population. Israel would cede 1-3% of land to the Palestinians in land swaps to compensate for the annexations. The Palestinian state would have to be contiguous, and annexed areas along with the number of Palestinians affected would be as minimized as possible.[1]

I have never understand this peculiar aspect of American policy towards Israel.

As Epa said, either a "Palestinian state" is contiguous, or Israel is. They can't both be.

There have been proposals which included elevated highways which attempted to solve the equation, but they don't make any sense either.

War is deceit. They are trying to get Israel to voluntarily divide it's forces for the coming onslaught.
