Eurabia's underlying problem:"Immigrants" riot in Italy ..

Immigrants riot in Italy amid racial unrest
08 Jan 2010 19:58:31 GMT
Source: Reuters
* Worst episode of Italian racial unrest in years
* Opposition accuses govt of fuelling xenophobia
* Southern town still tense, more immigrants wounded
Friday (Recasts with new violence, background) By Ilario Filippone ROSARNO, Italy,

Jan 8 (Reuters) - Clashes between immigrants and locals in a southern Italian town entered a second day on Friday, with the government rushing extra police to try to stem one of the worst episodes of racial unrest in years.
The violence inflamed a long-running political debate on immigration, with the interior minister saying years of excessive "tolerance" were behind the violence, and the opposition accusing the government of fuelling xenophobia. President Giorgio Napolitano called for an immediate end to the unrest, during which at least 37 people, including 18 policemen, have been injured. Some 8,000 illegal immigrants work in the southern Calabria region where the clashes have erupted, most as day labourers picking fruit and vegetables.

Many live in abandoned factories with no running water or electricity and human rights groups say they are exploited by organised crime.

The clashes started on Thursday, when a gang of white youths in a car fired air rifles at a group of African immigrants returning from work on farms, injuring two of them. The attack set off a night of rioting by dozens of Africans, who smashed car windows with steel bars and stones and set cars and rubbish bins on fire. "Those guys were firing at us as if it were a fair ground, they were laughing. I was screaming and there were other cars passing by but nobody stopped, nobody called the police," Kamal, a Moroccan, told La Repubblica newspaper. On Friday, the violence continued. Police said two immigrants were shot at with air rifles and suffered leg wounds, while two others were attacked with iron bars and were said to be in serious condition. "WE ARE NOT ANIMALS" Earlier, about 2,000 immigrants demonstrated against what they said was racist treatment by many locals. Some shouted "we are not animals" and carried signs reading "Italians here are racist".

There is something about most of Europe that just cannot adjust in any way to an influx, or something different. Maybe they are worried about minarets. Maybe they are worried about crime. Maybe they are worried about jobs. But they have no way of ASSIMILATING in a somewhat classless, upwardly mobile way. And these 'Africans' as Reuters puts it in their morally coward's way, probably have LITTLE INTENTION of assimilating..after all, they can't really take the kufr as friends.

Made for each other.

Imagine No Right or Wrong

Much has been said from the starboard side of the bloggesphere on the lack of awareness college students have about the reality of the world today – in particular, the Islamist threat. The liberal left has infiltrated the educational system in this country and has produced a generation of politically correct multiculturalists unable to think logically and rationally. The prime reason is that a liberal feels and a conservative thinks. So the primary response from a liberal is always an emotional one based on ‘feeling’ not logic.

Awhile back, I had a chance to actually see the mechanisms of the modern college students’ mind as it wrestled with the contradictions between reality and multiculturalism. I had the usual discussion with her as the anti-Islamists bloggers and commentators do in expressing their opinion and she stood by her multicultural belief and saw me only as a bigot for condemning all Muslims for the actions of a few radicals. I tried to explain to her that the ‘few’ are many more than she thinks and, in my opinion, the vast number of Muslims in the world may not agree with the methods of the violent jihadists but do agree with their objectives. I gave her several examples of the intimidation, infiltration and disinformation tactics used by the non-violent jihadists today in order to enlighten her to the threat to our civilization. Even supposed 'moderate' Muslims are at fault because there really is no moderate Muslims only acquiescent ones and they will suffer the same fate as the acquiescent Germans, Italians and Japanese did in WW II.

The depth of her misunderstanding, or blindness to reality, came when I tried to use an example of how moderate Muslims agree with the tenants and objectives of their belief system by their reaction to the Mohammed cartoon controversy. I thought for sure she would see this as a crystal clear example of how tens of thousands of moderate Muslims around the world rioted and killed over something as silly as a dozen cartoons.

Didn’t this prove that a very large number of Muslims can not, or will not, live in a 21st century dominated by free cultures? Her response was quit enlightening. She said people riot over silly things all the time. Drunken students sometime riot after football games at her college if their team loses. The behavior of the rioting students and the rioting Muslims were equivalent. They both were upset for whatever reason. And though she did not condone the rioting of either party, she understood their anger. Their reaction was equivalent.

When I asked her if the rioting students at her college burned down the opposing team’s stadium, demanded that the opposing college apologize for their win, the football coach fired and death threats put out on the opposing players, and that the rioting Muslims were demanding that free societies self-censor themselves and bury the concept of freedom of the press and free speech - she just walked away.

This incident only reinforced my belief that we will never convince the appeasers and apologist of the Islamist threat and even when it becomes crystal clear that they intend to kill even them, the majority will respond with self-preservation - but will not like it.

Because they will always, ALWAYS, hold the belief that we did not do enough, to do whatever, to prevent the conflagration that forced them into a survival mode.

Case in point. The America First Committee in the 1930s.

The America First Committee (AFC) was the foremost non-interventionist pressure group against the American entry into World War II. Peaking at 800,000 members, it was likely the largest anti-war organization in American history.

On December 11, 1941 the America First Committee leaders met and voted for dissolution. In the statement they released to the press was the following:

“Our principles were right. Had they been followed, war could have been avoided. No good purpose can now be served by considering what might have been, had our objectives been attained...”

Now that’s ballsy.

Their secular belief of multiculturalism is as much a religion as our traditional ones. But their belief system fails on another count. They can not accept the concept of right and wrong and good or evil. They live in a world of relativity where every belief system is morally equivalent. This belief makes them impotent when faced with pure evil or a culture that does not respect any of the traditions of a freedom loving society where human rights and personal freedom trumps theocratic law.

So when they are eventually faced with the reality of self-preservation, they do not accept the fact that we are right and the enemy is wrong. They merely believe that if we win, it is because our civilization was stronger, harsher and more barbaric than the enemy. Many on the Left still debate the use of the atomic bomb on Japan believing it was an inhuman act that we should apologize for.

Like all enemies to democracies in the past, the enemy today is an ideology in this clash of civilizations and that ideology, not terrorism, is to be defeated wherever it’s found. To the appeasers and apologists of this ideology and secular faith of multiculturalists, the final victory does not affirm anything. Just that we, if we win, are better at killing the enemy than he is of us. Not that our ideology is better than theirs and should be destroyed based on universal human values, but that we won because we were the most brutal. If that was the case, we would have kept Japan and Germany in the primitive state we reduced their countries to. But we didn’t. Why? The Allied leaders knew that the war was not against a nation but against an ideology that had hijacked those nations. Because we fought to defeat an ideology that had hijacked their culture and once the ideology was defeated and outlawed and it’s supporters jailed, we rebuilt their nations.

You can’t win an argument with a multiculturalist based on the higher concepts of right and wrong, good and evil. They will twist and turn words to mean something else or accuse you of seeing the world only in black and white.

But I have a solution.

Let’s not begin by arguing higher values. Let’s talk about the basics. Let’s build an argument that pulls morals, values, good, evil, and religious beliefs out of the equation. That is, let’s argue a case in a language the Left, or Progressives as they like to known, can understand - a secular language. Let’s build an argument that affirms something and build it on science. And one of the very basic laws of science is the three laws of thermodynamics – or the laws of entropy.

Without getting technical, the three laws are:

  1. You can’t win
  2. You can’t break even
  3. You can’t leave the game

But there is another side to the universe that works against entropy and that’s’ syntropy. Syntropy was a word invented by Buckminster Fuller and it is the direct opposite of entropy. While entropy runs things down, syntropy build things up. The main driver of syntropy is life – living systems – which contests the entropy of the physical world by creating order and designs of ever more advantageous and orderly patterns for growth. That which supports growth is syntropic. That which supports destruction is entropic. Those beliefs and actions that are advantageous to the advancement of life are syntropic. Those that are not are entropic. That which creates environments for creativity like personal freedom is syntropic. That which stunts personal freedom is entropic. Syntropy is good for human beings. Entropy is not. What’s right for entropy is wrong for syntropy.

Or to quote Lazarus Long, that long-lived character in Robert Heinlein’s book Time Enough for Love.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded--here and there, now and then--are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as “bad luck.”

The argument to use against the relativists of multiculturalism is that everything that stunts the expression of free thought and creativity should be fought against. This includes personal freedoms, equality, and the right to practice ones beliefs as long as it does not restrict the freedoms of others.

That’s an argument that the Progressives can not ignore.

George Mitchell:Aid to Israel Could Be Cut if Peace Talks Fail

Mideast envoy George Mitchell has threatened that the U.S. could freeze aid to Israel if the country fails to advance peace talks, YNetNews.com reported.

Mitchell said the U.S. can legally cut its support for aid to Israel and that all options must remain open, YNet reports, though he clarified on PBS that the U.S. wants to put pressure on both sides in Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations.

The remarks come on the eve of his trip to Israel, aiming to bolster a peace process that failed to get back off the ground during the first year of the Obama administration.

"We think that the negotiation should last no more than two years," Mitchell said in an interview on PBS' "Charlie Rose." "We hope the parties agree. Personally I think it can be done in a shorter period of time."

How much money would it cost to provide security for the trial of Gitmo detainees in NY?

According to NYC mayor Bloomberg, $400 million (Hat tip: IRIS' Israel Blog):
New York City projects it will cost more than $400 million to provide security if the pre-trial preparation and trial of the suspects in the Sept. 11 terror attacks takes two years, which insiders say is virtually certain, according to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

The cost of the upcoming terror trials in this New York City courthouse for Guantanamo Bay detainees charged as 9/11 co-conspirators, including Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, will likely be more than $400 million and could go as high as $600 million.

It will cost another $206 million annually if the trial runs beyond two years, which some fear is possible, the mayor’s office estimates.
And this is just one more reason why America cannot afford to have this taking place on its shores - it is costing the country tons of money needed for much better things.

Speaking of Diplomacy - Hizbullah launching rocket attacks in Iraq, directed by Iran's IRGC

BAGHDAD -- The Iraqi wing of Hizbullah has been responsible for rocket strikes on Iraqi and U.S. military facilities in the Baghdad area.
IRAQI WING OF HIZBULLAH??? Have I been on vacation or something?

Officials said the so-called Hizbullah Brigades were operating in the northwestern part of the Iraqi capital.

Officials said Hizbullah has been aided and directed by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. They said Hizbullah was operating in several cities in central and southern Iraq and was focusing on intelligence, reconnaissance and recruitment.

"They have been given advanced equipment by IRGC to monitor Iraqi and U.S. communications," the official said. "They are very disciplined and potentially very dangerous." "These attacks have been sporadic over the last year," an official said.

Iraqi security forces have reported some success in capturing Hizbullah attackers. On Dec. 16, Iraqi police and military units arrested two suspected Hizbullah operatives in Baghdad believed responsible for anti-government operations.

Officials said the target of the Iraqi security operation was the unnamed chief of a Hizbullah cell responsible for the rocket attacks. They said the attacks aimed at security forces and military installations in and around Baghdad.

But the Hizbullah cell leader escaped arrest in an Iraqi and U.S. raid of two buildings in northwestern Baghdad. Iraqi security forces arrested two suspected Hizbullah operatives found in the buildings.

Shi'ite rebels in Yemen armed with advanced foreign rockets, mortars

ABU DHABI -- Saudi military sources said the Iranian-backed Believing Youth has been firing a range of projectiles toward the Yemeni border with the Arab kingdom. They said some of the weapons stemmed from neighboring Somalia as well as Iran.

"They have a large arsenal and are well-trained to use these rockets," a Saudi military source said.

The Shi'ite rebels were also said to have been employing SA-7 surface-to-air missiles, which have downed at least four Yemen Air Force aircraft. The sources said the Believing Youth also received or developed anti-tank missiles as well as mounted machine guns on pick-up trucks.

Saudi F-15 and Tornado fighter-jets have also come under Shi'ite anti-aircraft fire, the sources said. So far, there have not been any reported hits.

Yemeni officials said the Shi'ite rebel movement has acquired a range of equipment from foreign countries. They said Iran has been supplying extended-range mortars in the Shi'ite war against the government of Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh and neighboring Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi sources said the Shi'ite rebels were firing Soviet-origin Katyusha 122 mm rockets at Saudi forces. They said the Believing Youth was also firing a range of mortar shells, rocket-propelled grenades and 7.62 mm machine guns.

In an interview with Egypt's state-owned daily Al Ahram, Ahmed said the Shi'ite Believing Youth has also acquired mines and improvised explosive devices. He did not elaborate.

Yemeni leaders, including Saleh, have identified Iran as a leading supporter of the Believing Youth. Saleh aides said state-sponsored Iranian clerics were raising money for the Shi'ite war against Sanaa while the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Hizbullah were providing training.

"What we are certain is that the aid that has arrived to the rebellion has come from unofficial sources in Iran and people beyond the border and this gives them encouragement," Ahmed said on Oct. 1.

Over the last week, the Yemeni Army has pounded the northern provincial capital of Saada, regarded as a key stronghold of the Believing Youth. Officials said the Shi'ite rebels, called Al Houthis, have responded with sabotage and ambushes of Yemeni ground forces throughout the province.

"They have planted mines on main highways, which make it harder for military units to move," Ahmed said.

Obama spokesman Gibbs said, Rahm Emanuel would form a group to consider a committee to create a quartet with Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Andorra, to being discussions with Iran about a project to form an engagement group to consider discussing this.

Dennis Kucinich, KOS, The Nation, and the Huffington Post were said to object to this belligerent attitude

3 Arrested in Heathrow Airport "Bomb Threat"

Armed officers boarded the Dubai-bound Emirates EK004 flight - which had 331 people inside - on Friday night.

Police said the alarm was raised when "a verbal threat was made to staff" as the plane was taxiing for take-off at 9.15pm.

Three men, aged 58, 48 and 36, were arrested on suspicion of making a bomb threat.

The trio, thought to be British men who were sitting in economy class, are being held in police custody.

Officers carried out a full search of the aircraft and found nothing suspicious.

The other passengers were taken off the plane and put up in a hotel for the night ahead of a rescheduled departure this afternoon.

It Has Begun, Judge Tosses Out Most Evidence In GITMO Terrorist Trial

From Jawa:

Liberal judges will kill us, literally by helping this terrorist, Musa'ab Omar Al Madhwani, to a lighter sentence or worse release.

A federal judge has tossed out most of the government's evidence against a tarrorism detainee on grounds his confessions were coerced, allegedly by U.S. forces, before he became a prisoner at Guantanamo Bay.

In a ruling this week, U.S. District Judge Thomas Hogan also said the government failed to establish that 23 statements the detainee made to interrogators at Guantanamo Bay were untainted by the earlier coerced statements made while he was held under harsh conditions in Afghanistan.

Ain't the 9/11 terrorist trials gonna be grand? Gawd.

In Case Anyone Wondered Why I Object To Michael Scheuer

Blatant Anti-Semitism on C-Span: "All These Jews With Way Too Much Power Pushing America Into Wars With Muslims"...

From Weasel Zippers:

(IsraelNN.com)-A caller on a C-Span interview program Monday complained about "all these Jews" having "way too much power" in America and pushing the U.S. into wars with the Muslim world. He found his comments echoed and expanded upon by the studio guest.

Michael Scheuer, the former director of a CIA unit assigned to track down Osama Bin-Laden, calmly expressed the view that American soldiers are now dying in Iraq for the sake of Israelis.

He further claimed that any debate of American support for Israel is squelched in the public sphere.

The interviewer for C-Span's Washington Journal program did not react to the blatantly anti-Semitic exchange. Several other callers praised Scheuer for his position regarding Israel, adding their own condemnation of the Jewish State and its supporters.

The Diplomatic Path, and it's adherents

Self View:
I ..."have been specially selected by Providence for the definite mission of helping to preserve the peace of the world" - Sir Neville Henderson, from Munich, 1938, Daniel Faber, a fact fable on how smart people deceive and delude themselves (and a rip snorting read)

"Of all the big Nazi leaders, Hermann Goering was for me by far the most sympathetic."
"Nevertheless, behind all the ruthlessness and brutality which led Goering to shrink from nothing to obey an order or to achieve an end and behind his harmless vanity and love of display, there were agreeable qualities.....he loved animals"
"he gave me the most categorical assurances that, in the event of war with Britain, his airmen would not bomb anything except definitely military objectives."

"My own recollections of Goering will be of the man who intervened decisively in favor of peace in 1938, and would have done so again in 1939 if he had been as brave
morally as he was physically; of the hospitable host and sportsman; and of a man with whom I spent many hours in friendly and honorable dispute and argument."

Sir Neville Henderson, from his own memoir, Failure of a Mission (free download)

Today, of course we recognize these utter delusions.
One can only wonder about what delusions prevail now.

One can only wonder today about the self view of a State Dept which FDR wished would only remain neutral, and captured the likes of Colin Powell, and Condi Rice. Wonder if they view their mission as achieving peace, or the security and advantage of the USA for the benefit of its people.

If we are sympathetic the view of Victor David Hanson and the Greeks, that war is unfortunately a major part of the natural state of man, and that ultimately politics begins with the results on the battlefield (indicating that Bismarck had it backwards) then the purpose of diplomacy is to guarantee that those results are enforced by means short of a return to war, and to discern and advise when that is not possible.

Does anyone believe the State Dept we have will offer such advice, especially to this president?

Lord Carey - the former Archbishop of Canterbury - has called for a sharp limitation of immigration to stop the islamization of Britain

From Reliapundit, the Astutest Blogger:

We have had to wait decades for this moment, but it has finally happened. A leading British clergyman has said something sensible about immigration.

Lord Carey of Clifton, the former Archbishop of Canterbury, this week signed a declaration by the Cross Party Group on Balanced Migration calling for an urgent tightening of borders to stop the British population reaching 70 million by 2029.

He also gave an interview yesterday in which he called for a tougher Church. "We Christians are very often so soft that we allow other people to walk over us, and we are not as tough in what we want, in expressing our beliefs, because we do not want to upset other people," he said.

Tougher church … people walking all over us … controls on immigration: it really is not all that difficult to join the dots.

Later in the interview, Lord Carey almost joined them for us, suggesting that there might be a "points system" based on respect for Britain's Christian heritage.

Some of Lord Carey's critics will accuse him of blowing a dog whistle to racists. That is nonsense. Lord Carey is a veteran anti-racist: he enjoys the sort of following among African evangelicals that Bill Clinton did among black Americans.

But if Lord Carey were accused of whistling to Christians worried by the prospect of millions of dogmatic Muslims in Britain, then he would find it difficult to rebut the charge.

Politicised Islam is at the forefront of his mind: he knows that Britain's evangelical Christians are fed up with being told to develop ever closer ties with their Muslim neighbours.

... In the long term, the future of Western civilisation can be secured only by an alliance between Christians and secularists against the totalitarian ideology of Islamism.

That is a strange prospect; and even more uncomfortable is the realisation that Christianity's survival as a mass movement may depend on something as prosaic as immigration control.

But that is surely what Lord Carey is hinting at, and it is brave of him to do so

under obama religious visas for muslims from terror sponsoring nations have soared

from atlas shrugged

employment, diversity, all types of immigrant visas for January 2010. Nigeria and Egypt (Gaza) are among the largest ones.

Obama wasted no time in opening up the visa regulations when he took office last year, beginning with “religious visas.” Before, whoever wanted to enter as a supposed ‘missionary’ needed to demonstrate his/her affiliation with a religious institution for at least two years. Obama changed it to almost no proof at all.

“Missionary” Christians come and go, and priests, pastors, nuns, ministers have used this visa, but their number is so low that it is insignificant. The Jews also use this type of visa, but it is the same as the Christians. The numbers are low, and, as with the Christians, generally those folks use a tourist visa.

It is predominately Muslims who use the “religious visa”. And that number is quite high. Many countries such as Pakistan or territories such as Palestine use this type of visa, because it has been harder for them to get a regular visa (though that is no longer true for the Palestinians). But because most Muslims can’t really provide or do not want to provide the information of a specific mosque they’ve attended or they’ve “preached” at, they complained — and now DOS has granted their wish of waiving the 2-year proof requirement.

Thousands From Terror-Sponsoring Nations Entering U.S. on 'Diversity Visas'

The State Department is planning to welcome thousands of immigrants from terror-watch list countries into the United States this year through a "diversity visa" lottery -- a giant legal loophole some lawmakers say is a "serious national security threat" that has gone unchecked for years.

Ostensibly designed to increase ethnic diversity among immigrants, the program invites in thousands of poorly educated laborers with few job skills -- and that's only the beginning of its problems, according to lawmakers and government investigations.

released government documents show the numbers over at atlas

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBS4) ―The family of an Ohio man kicked off a plane at Miami International Airport for allegedly making anti-semitic remarks believes he was targeted because of his race.

Melissa Asad and her niece Gina were on board a Northwest Airlines flight with 43-year-old Mansor Mohammad Asad at Miami-International Airport bound for Detroit Wednesday night. The plane returned to the gate and they were kicked off.

"We did nothing wrong to be treated like we were treated; we were treated like animals basically," said Melissa Asad Mansor's sister. "They over exaggerated the whole situation, which she got away with it obviously," Melissa Asad said. She is referring to an off-duty flight attendant that overheard a conversation between her brother and another passenger talking about Palestinians and Jews.

She says the woman then ran to get security. "I think it was US Marshals, the guys with the guns came in there and was like you guys have to get off the plane."

Police say Mansor Mohammad Asad became disruptive, saying "I'm Palestinian, Jews should be killed."

But his sister says she and Asad's daughter witnessed something totally different.

"My brother didn't get into a scuffle, they got into a scuffle with him. They slammed him on the ground, he was faced down on the ground," said Asad.

She says her brother never tried to charge at them or fight back. But officers still shot him twice with a Taser. "How can you be fighting or anything with your head face down on the ground with somebody's knee in your back with guns over your head."

Mansor Asad went before a judge for a bond hearing Friday claiming his innocence. But the judge wasn't easy on him setting bond at $210-thousand.

This is excessive to family members who believe they did nothing wrong.

"It made me feel like we were mistreated, all of us," said Asad's daughter Gina.

Melissa Asad is upset and said, "Just because we're Arabic, I feel they're very, very, very racist against us."

Asad's attorney's said the whole incident was a misunderstanding, and if he posts the bond, he will be under house arrest with a relative in Fort Lauderdale.
I"m quite sure that if I got on to a plane and started saying, "I'm European, and I think all Negroes ought to be killed," I would end up face down with guns at the back of my head too.

And, it would be just that that would be the case.

And airplane is not a place to go parading one's distasteful political, social, or religious opinions. It is not a place to act out. It is not a place where one's normal free speech protections apply.

Flying on a jet airliner is a privilege, not a right.

I think this needs to be codified in law, if it is not already.

The most offensive two words in the English language are not “Barack Obama,” “George Bush,” “staunch liberal” or “compassionate conservative.”

Neither are the words “f*** you,” nor any other expletive.

The words, according to Fox News Analyst Brit Hume, are “Jesus Christ.”

Mr. Hume has faced a maelstrom of criticism for suggesting that Tiger Woods, the professional golfer, turn to Jesus Christ in order to makeover his personal life.

Woods marriage has been wrecked by scandals of adulterous behavior not only with golf groupies but also professional prostitutes.

On Fox News Sunday, Mr. Hume suggested that the golfer – - who claims to be a Buddhist – -turn to Christianity for answers to his personal problems and the means to achieve reconciliation with his wife and children.

His remarks concerning Tiger Woods emerged from his response host Chris Wallace’s question about the biggest sports story of 2009.

Mr. Hume said that the biggest story concerning Woods and his admission of infidelities and indiscretions. He speculated that while the golfer will recover professionally, his comeback as a family man and a role model for young people remains a question mark.

“Tiger Woods will recover as a golfer.” Hume predicted. “Whether he can recover as a person I think is a very open question, and it’s a tragic situation for him. I think he’s lost his family; it’s not clear to me if he’ll be able to have a relationship with his children, but the Tiger Woods that emerges once the news value dies out of this scandal — the extent to which he can recover — seems to me to depend on his faith.”

The former newsman-turned-commentator then dropped the bombshell: “He’s said to be a Buddhist; I don’t think that faith offers the kind of forgiveness and redemption that is offered by the Christian faith. So my message to Tiger would be: ‘Tiger, turn to the Christian faith, and you can make a total recovery and be a great example to the world.’”
His words prompted immediate outcry from the media.

Tom Shales, media critic for the Washington Post , demanded that Hume apologize and labeled his Christian remarks “even only a few days into January, as one of the most ridiculous of the year.”

MSNBC anchor David Shuster blasted Hume, saying he had no business mentioning Christianity on a political talk show.

“I do think (talking about Christianity on a political talk show) diminishes the discussion of Christianity,” Shuster said. “My Christian friends have said as much, that it diminishes the discussion of Christianity and faith when you have a conversation out-of-the-blue on a political talk show. This wasn’t the ‘700 Club,’ this wasn’t ‘Theocracy Today.’”
Similarly, MSNBC host Keith Olbermann accused Hume of an “attempt to threaten Tiger Woods into converting to Christianity.”
Mr. Hume said he was “not surprised” by the media reaction, claiming there is a “double-standard” when it comes to speaking publicly about Christianity versus other religions.

He told CNSNews: “If I had said, for example, that what Tiger Woods needed to do was become more deeply engaged in his Buddhist faith or to adopt the ideas of Hinduism, which I think would be of great spiritual value to him, I doubt anybody would have said anything.”

When asked if he would do it again, Mr. Hume did not hesitate to respond affirmatively.

He further said: “The most controversial two words you can ever utter in a public space are ‘Jesus Christ.”

When asked to speculate about the reasons for the media’s vitriolic response to Christianity and the name of Jesus, Mr. Hume replied: “I think it is true that for people who are not Christian, Christianity makes a fairly extravagant claim which is that the Son of God — God made Flesh — came into this world, lived, suffered terribly, and died for the remission of our sins, and then rose again. This is a huge supernatural event, and a lot of people don’t—have a lot of trouble believing it. But if you do purport to believe it, the implications are pretty staggering. And the result is you may end up talking about it.”

Armed police storm plane at Heathrow Airport after security threat on board

Also today, a Hawaii-bound plane that took off in Las Vegas was diverted to Los Angeles after a man allegedly harassed another passenger, according to Hawaiian Airline officials. And on Wednesday, NORAD dispatched two F-15s to escort a Hawaii-bound passenger jet back to Portland, Ore., because of a disruptive passenger.

Armed police stormed a plane at Heathrow Airport last night after a security threat on board an Emirates flight to Dubai.

Three men were handcuffed, arrested and dragged off the flight by officers wearing full body armour. One allegedly made a 'verbal threat' as the plane taxied towards the Terminal 3 runway.

The comment was overheard by a fellow passenger and reported to the on-flight crew.

Heathrow airport

Security threat: Armed police storm the EK004 Emirates flight to Dubai last night

Witnesses described the main suspect as a white male.

The flight, due to leave Heathrow for Dubai at 8pm, was grounded for more than three hours.

Passengers remained on board while officers emptied overhead lockers and sniffer dogs were brought on to the Boeing 777 to search for potential explosives.

Up to eight police vehicles surrounded the plane - although no ambulances were present.

Heathrow Airport remained open last night, despite the security alert.

Passenger Cameron McLean said: 'Police just swarmed the guy and rushed him out.

'I think he was a white male. There was another one but I didn't see him.'

He said the man was taken out in handcuffs then sniffer dogs were brought on board.

A Scotland Yard source confirmed the incident.

He said: 'We are aware of a security incident at Heathrow. The airport and terminal remains open.

'We have not found anything'

A spokesman for Heathrow Airport said: 'I can confirm there has been an incident on the EK004 flight to Dubai.

'Police are attending. It's not affecting the rest of the airport which remains opens.'

The incident comes amid heightened tension at airports across the world in the wake of the alleged botched Christmas Day bombings.

Extra bag checks, body searches and on board regulations have seen travellers in London wait up to three hours before taking off.

Even when they are in the sky, some passengers have been told to remain seated for the final hour of flight time, with no access to the bathroom or overhead lockers and nothing on their laps, including blankets or pillows.

Others heading to the US.. have reportedly also seen bans on the use of electronic equipment, including laptops and MP3 players and, in some cases, in-flight entertainment has also been disrupted.

From the Australian:

British police say three people have been arrested in a security incident aboard an Emirates passenger jet at London’s Heathrow Airport.

A police spokesman said the three - all believed to be male - were removed from the jet, which was preparing to fly to Dubai.

The spokesman, who spoke on condition of anonymity in line with policy, said officers were searching the plane but had found no hazardous material.

"Nothing has been found," he said.

Witnesses told television channel Sky News that several armed police officers boarded the plane and arrested the men.

"Basically the police just swarmed the guy and rushed him out," passenger Cameron Mclean told Sky News by phone.

"We’ve been told not to stand up. ... We’re going to be moved to a safe place."

The police spokesman said he believed the passengers had been removed from the plane.

A Heathrow spokesman said no passenger was harmed and that the airport - Europe’s busiest - remained open. He declined to provide further details.

Flight Diverted Jets Scrambled AGAIN

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen and welcome to AirTran flight number 39, nonstop to San Francisco... hah. We should be so lucky. Your in-flight breakfast this morning will be scrambled F-16s fresh from NORAD thanks to the loudmouthed drunk holed up in the can, whose uncooperative behavior necessitates a brief emergency stopover in Colorado Springs in order that said drunk and all the rest of you can be questioned by the Fibbies... "

Deja vous all over again, and again without a name or description of the "unruly" passenger:

Fighter jets scrambled again because of unruly airline passenger
January 8, 2010 5:49 p.m. EST

(CNN) -- In the second such incident in three days, fighter jets escorted a diverted commercial flight on Friday after an unruly passenger caused alarm onboard.

The military sent up two F-16s in response to reports of an unruly passenger aboard AirTran Flight 39, the North American Aerospace Defense Command said in a statement.

The passenger had become belligerent and refused to leave the restroom, airline spokesman Tad Hutcheson told CNN Friday. The passenger appeared to be intoxicated, he said.

The flight, bound for San Francisco, California, left Atlanta, Georgia, at 9:48 a.m. ET, according to AirTran's Web site.

NORAD dispatched the fighters at 1:44 p.m. ET, escorting the aircraft to a safe emergency landing in Colorado Springs, Colorado, officials said. The passenger was detained there and FBI agents from Denver, Colorado, were called to question passengers, Hutcheson said.

The other passengers were scheduled to continue their trip at 4:30 p.m. ET, he said.

On Wednesday, NORAD escorted a Hawaii-bound plane back to its origination point of Portland, Oregon, when an unruly passenger in coach became "uncooperative," a Hawaiian Airlines official said.

January 8 Lead Editorial In The WaPo

Note the concluding paragraph of this editorial, the title of which appears online as "After Detroit, a big security gap and a less reassuring response":
Mr. Obama's solutions have the air of the small bore: a "training course" for the National Security Agency; a "dedicated capability responsible for enhancing record information on possible terrorists . . . for watchlisting purposes." Perhaps a series of individual tweaks will do the job. But the administration report suggests that the problem is less tractable than Mr. Obama has acknowledged. His depiction Thursday of the shortcomings was admirably honest and more frightening than previously portrayed. His proposed fixes did not entirely reassure.
Terrorists are intractable? Duh.

Anyway, the WaPo is implying that reaching out to the Moslem world might not work.

Duh again.

John McCain should have been so forthright when he ran for election:

John McCain has run against Barack Obama before.

He's running against him again.

With campaign radio ads billing the five-term Republican senator as "Arizona's last line of defense,'' the GOP's nominee for president in 2008 is attempting to bolster his 2010 campaign for reelection to the Senate with a slam at the president.

"President Obama is leading an extreme left-wing crusade to bankrupt America,'' McCain says in one of the radio ads his campaign is airing.

France: Burqa-Wearers To Be Fined 700 Euros

France has more balls than any Western country at the moment:

WOMEN who wear Islamic veils in public could be liable to a £700 fine under laws being formulated in France.

Men who force women to cover their faces could face fines of double that amount.

Jean-Francois Cope, president of Nicolas Sarkozy’s ruling UMP Party in the French parliament, said the legislation was intended to protect the “dignity” and “security” of women.

He is set to file the draft law in the National Assembly after Mr Sarkozy said veils were “not welcome” as they intimidated and alienated non-Muslims.

“We want a ban in public areas,” said Mr Cope, making it clear that he did not want the veil to be allowed in public buildings nor on the streets. But there would be exceptions for cultural events. Anyone refusing to pay the fine could be arrested and eventually face jail.

Egypt Kicks Galloway Out, Declares Him "Persona Non Grata" - Why? Because, The Egyptians Fear The Gazans Even More Than Israel Does

George Galloway, who is either Britain's biggest Dhimmi, has been banned from Egypt for life:

CAIRO – Egypt on Friday declared renegade British lawmaker George Galloway persona non grata, accusing him of incitement after his harsh criticism of Cairo over delays in an aid convoy's entry into Gaza, the foreign ministry said Friday.

"George Galloway is considered persona non grata and will not be allowed to enter into Egypt again," a Foreign Ministry statement said. The activist left Egypt Friday morning from Cairo airport.

Earlier, British press reported Galloway had been deported from Egypt. They said he was forcefully taken by police from the Rafah crossing with Gaza to Cairo airport where he was put on departing British Airways plane.

Galloway led more than 500 activists as part of an international aid convoy to Gaza. They entered late Gaza Wednesday from Egypt after a month traveling. Egypt gave them only 24 hours in the blockaded sea side strip before it said it would reclose the crossing.

Note how stringent Egypt is about their border with Gaza. In fact, doesn't it seem they treat the Gaza border in the exact same manner as Israel? Why do you think that is? Could it be that the Palestinians really are a murderous and malevolent population?

In fact, the Egyptians consider the Gazans so dangerous that they have constructed a steel wall along the Gazan border that goes up to 100 feet underground, so that they Palestinians can not tunnel through to Egypt either.

Arab News has reported on the wall, and here we learn some interesting information:

RIYADH: The Egyptian ambassador to Saudi Arabia has dismissed allegations that a steel underground wall being built by his country on its border with the Gaza Strip is aimed at starving local Palestinian people or forcing them to support any resumption of peace talks with Israel.

Mahmoud Ouf issued the denial at the launch of the new Egyptian Cultural Center in Riyadh on Wednesday night. “Forced starvation is not possible because 95 percent of Gaza’s food, medicine and electricity do not come through these tunnels, but via crossing points along the border with Israel,” he said.

So, the Egyptians build a wall to keep the Palestinians out, and you don't hear about it in the UN or the world's press. But, when the Israelis build a security fence, you hear that the Israelis are attempting to turn Gaza into a prison cell, that they're trying to commit mass genocide against the Palestinians, etc., etc.

But, here we see the Egyptian government admit, 95% of Gazas food and supplies come through the Israeli border.

In other words, the Jews make sure the Gazans are fed and supplied, not the Arabs.

Why is that not reported ad nauseum?

It's almost as if the Arab people are attempting to commit genocide against the Palestinians, so that they can blame it on the Jews, isn't it?

Almost as if, indeed.

These People Will Get Us All Killed

Oh for fuck's sake. Nappy is surprised by Al Qaida's determination. Just what the hell did she think they were about?

Nappy is busy running down right wingers with guns. Brennan doesn't think the situation so bad that Leiter should skip his ski vacation. Obama keeps golfing.

Is it too much to ask any of you to act at your paygrade, if not above it?

The next successful attack on American soil will be the end of this administration. Unless they bring down the iron fist on Americans themselves who will be clamoring for response and resignation.

They certainly are not capable of bringing that iron fist down on the Jihadis.

Listen, Nappy. While you sit there dithering and equivocating you should understand that Americans are ready to defend themselves. More of them than you can imagine. So try not to be too surprised by the determination of a right winger who stops a mall attack with a shot from a .357. And try not to come down on him too hard.

Because if you can't or won't protect us, we'll do it ourselves. From all enemies. Foreign or DOMESTIC. THAT is America. Something you and your bosses do not understand.

Fucking morons.

Massachusetts College Relaxes Ban on Head Coverings After Muslim Uproar
Thursday, January 07, 2010

BOSTON — A Massachusetts college that banned students from wearing head coverings that obscure the face has announced a religious exemption following criticism from Muslim groups.

The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences bans students from wearing clothing such as burqas and face veils, as well as ski masks and scarves.

The school amended the policy Thursday, saying those exempted on religious grounds will be required to remove any covering to verify their identity for security purposes.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations had asked federal officials to investigate, saying the policy would have "a disproportionate impact on the religious rights of Muslim employees."

The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy is situated in the midst of what is known as the Longwood Medical Area, encompasing Brigham and Women's Hospital, Beth Israel Hospital, Children's Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, and Harvard School of Public Health. Therefore, this ruling means that any student -- or other individual -- claiming exemption on religious grounds, can wander around this area incognito (including on security cameras) unless actually "required to remove the covering to verify their identity for security purposes."

Whoops, forgot to mention that Tarek Mehanna, of Sudbury, MA, arrested last October on charges of planning terrorist attacks against Americans, is a Massachusetts College of Pharmacy grad. And his dad, Ahmed Mehanna, teaches medicinal chemistry at the school.

National Geographic Channel's "Inside the Koran" - relatively fair

On Tues the 12th @ 4PM EST, National Geographic will show THIS SHOW. It's already been on at least once this week.

Much of it dealt at the ground level UNSPARINGLY with how Islam deals with women. I found this a very good approach.

The sole factual fault I found was a typical error of the west in leaving out the start (and therefore meaning) of Sura 5:32

YUSUFALI: On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.
PICKTHAL: For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but afterwards lo! many of them became prodigals in the earth.
SHAKIR: For this reason did We prescribe to the children of Israel that whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men; and whoever keeps it alive, it is as though he kept alive all men; and certainly Our messengers came to them with clear arguments, but even after that many of them certainly act extravagantly in the land.
For me, the real issue of that Sura would have been to ask WHY the significant portion is pointing to it's meaning is ALWAYS LEFT OUT?

However, they get down to a lot of nitty gritty which FEW HAVE DEALT WITH in 2 hours.

Worth seeing.

Our protectors, chosen voluntarily, Chapter One. John Brennan, moral coward

In the "Looming Tower" by Lawrence Wright, a pitiless, accurate look at how we started in 1993, and a bit earlier and ended at 9/11, Wright (with confirmation by many others) makes the point over and over that MULTIPLE chances were had in the clear to kill Bin Laden but that the 'White House' stopped each and every one. This has been reinforced by Bob Baer, and Gary Bernsten and now Michael Scheuer has identified for us WHO the 'White House' executive was that made sure we did not kill Bin Laden.

Not Tenet (as ABC seemed to indicate). No.

Why it's the man who would be Jack Bauer's uber boss, if we had a Jack Bauer .. John Brennan, the man Barack Obama has made our Chief of Counter-terrorism.
The man who says we could have leveraged the dots if we had the dots and the leverage.
Barack Obama said yesterday 'we are at war'.
Why then does he retain a counterterror chief with a temerity quotient of 0.001?
Why retain men and women who think stuff was working and WENT ON VACATION BECAUSE NO ONE TOLD THEM THEY COULD NOT?

What kind of people do such things? What kind of responsibility and INITIATIVE allows such behavior?

Worse still, what kind of responsibility to the people allows reading of Miranda rights when an enemy war-fighter tells you 300 more just like him ARE TRAINED AND READY? Is conviction MORE IMPORTANT than getting those other Al Qaeda war fighters? FIND ANOTHER ROUTE TO HOLD THE MAN (OPERATION PASTORIUS). Are the airlines and the commercial traffic they encompass, and results throughout industry not key economic targets? Was FDR's course not a good enough example for today's progressives?

Maybe these people have never read about Gentleman Johnny Burgoyne and the results of insufficient cooperation, and aggressiveness

But why have such people been deemed appropriate to conduct a war? Appointed to begin with? Obama cannot complain that this was the 'army' he had to fight with at the outset. These are hand picked warfighters.

Wars are not fought aggressively with scanners.
Nor with such people directing and planing actions

Avatar, Multiculturalism, and the Death of the West

Avatar, the movie, illustrates all that is wrong with multiculturalism and shows how it threatens Western civilization. This film is easily summarized. It is the good indigenous people fighting the bad U.S. military. But, beyond the highest globally grossing film of all time having audiences cheering the killing of U.S. Marines, the film reflects even deeper multicultural truisms that we must combat with culturism or die.

This film provided a perfect representation of multiculturalism. At heart multiculturalism says to respect all cultures, except the West. This is because we are, as the film explains, seen as imperialist. And, as we have transformed the world, we have disproportionately disrupted the indigenous cultures multiculturalism celebrates. Culturism, by way of contrast, supports the West and recognizes progress.

In indigenous cultures, on average, Lawwrence Keeley and other anthropologists tell us, 25% of the male population died in warfare. And, there was yearly war. The population stayed low because of starvation and death in childbirth. And, while the men fought, women were beasts of burden. In 20th century Europe, by contrast, with its two World Wars, only 1.9% of males died in combat. Most Americans never go to War. Nearly none of us die in War. We live long lives with lots of comforts and food. If you are anti-War you should support the West.

Indigenous poplutions were not the angelic environmentalists of left leaning Hollywood minds. As the indigenous population spread across North America, it wiped out 85% of the large mammals. Jared Diamond, in Collapse, tells us that Arizona used to be forested. The locals used all the trees and descended into cannibalism, before Columbus arrived. And remember Easter Island? Science solved the Ozone problem. To abandon the West and rationality is to destroy the hope of environmental management.

The film backs an array of pathological leftist multicultural thoughts. This film, as multiculturalism generally, denigrates progress and the West for having made it. The lead character says the indigenous will not give up their way of life for “lite beer and blue jeans.” The West is more than that. We have taken the world from one of scared superstition and constant warfare to a place with comfort and progress. Thanks to the West, slavery is nearly gone and the world population is booming.

It was significant to me that the lead character had a “tribal” tattoo. These tattoos show disaffection with the rational West and sympathy for a more emotional primitive past. In several scenes the indigenous people all chant or sway in unison. They have a sense of community. The West is an alienating place as it stresses individualism. But, we could again find cohesion in the fact that we are the cutting edge of technology and freedom in the world. By claiming that we have no majority culture or connection with western civilization, multiculturalism drives people to look for it in fairy tales and get tribal tattoos.

In Avatar the left’s hatred of America was on display. Though it happens in a remote time and place, a protagonist calls the marine’s destruction “Shock and awe.” A Marine leader says “we must fight terror with terror.” And, as a central trope, the Marines attack their tallest structure, a tree. This covertly justified the indigenous people’s attack on our tallest structure, the World Trade Center. When you couple this with Avatar’s asking us to root for the killing of American soldiers, we have a fairly anti-American film.

In reality, whether Hollywood’s left or Obama want to admit it, we are currently fighting for the survival of western civilization. Our Islamic enemies, like all indigenous folks, are war like, irrational, and oppressive. When the Taliban took over parts of Pakistan last year, they immediately destroyed nearly two hundred girl’s schools. They are attacking Thailand. It is not because of Thai crimes. It is due to the rabid, irrational, drives that their form of theocracy unleashes.

Lastly, the film sinks to its lowest multicultural level with its invocation of racist themes. The angry Marine leader, before and in the ultimate showdown between good and evil, asks the lead protagonist to stick with his own “race.” The correct word would have been species. But the choice parallels the multicultural blurring of race and culture. The multis label all mention of negative aspects of cultural diversity “racist.” Ultimately, in this film, to be for the West is, in the Marine’s words, to be racist. That optimizes the multicultural left’s position.

We must use the words culturism and culturist to help distinguish between race and culture. Racism is stupid. But cultural diversity, like progress, is real. If we cannot talk about the negative aspects of some cultures, and if to root for our side continues to be demonized as racist, we are in trouble. Avatar’s overtly saying those who side with Western civilization are racist reflects a common multicultural tactic of the left that should not be taken lightly.

Perhaps even scarier, the film constantly evokes the use of the word, “the people.” In Avatar, to be for western civilization is to be against, “the people.” This is the sort of black and white thinking that leads to genocide. When leaders start doing things in the name of “the people” we are on our way to demagogic authoritarianism. To be good, the lead protagonist must show is he not part of the West, disdains it, and has converted to being one of “the people.” This is a bad trope.

For the West to thrive, it must replace multiculturalism with culturism. We must know we have a valuable and vulnerable civilization and strive to protect it. This will give us a much-needed sense of pride and community. We must recognize that progress has happened and we can revert to something much worse. While we have a war on terror, films that subtlety justify the 9/11 attacks and overtly justify the killing of Marines, sap our defense of civilization. The West must stand against theocracy. To do so we must side with and strive for the success of the West. We must adopt a culturist, rather than a multiculturalist, perspective. Avatar shows us why.

Rolling Stone Writes Rambling, 10,000+ Word Article About Genocide In Darfur And Only Mention Jihad One Time

... and fails to use the word Islam a single time.

Look at the Google Cache page.

In one passsage they describe the breakdown of the peace talks which could have gotten the "refugees" (read Infidels) out of the camps and back into their homeland. See if you can decipher what the fuck is going on here (by the way, it is important to note that Minnawi and Abdul Wahid are negotiating for the "refugees, while the other names are the names of either U.N. players, or Arab Sudanese government leaders) :

The mediators gathered in a conference room, and called in Minnawi and Abdul Wahid, one after the other, Zoellick and Obasanjo working them over. Frazer, who had accompanied Zoellick to the talks, had visited Abdul Wahid in his hotel room earlier that day. The rebel leader had been putting on his tie, getting ready to sign the peace agreement. "He was so happy," Frazer recalls. The deal, she felt, had been in many ways written for Abdul Wahid — it even guaranteed him a powerful job, as head of the government's proposed Darfur Authority, with broad powers to rebuild the region. When the details had been announced, Abdul Wahid had practically floated out of the room.

But now, talking with Zoellick and Obasanjo in the palace, the rebel leader refused to sign. He had spent hours scouring the details of the land settlements, he announced, and it wasn't enough.

"Now come, my boy," Obasanjo said. "You haven't fought a war like I have, and won a war as I have done." If Abdul Wahid wanted to be a great leader of his people, Obasanjo said, he needed to sign.

Abdul Wahid refused to budge. It was a betrayal of his people, he said. He would be killed if he signed.

Frazer later came to believe that someone — maybe the Eritreans or the Libyans, both of whom had been backing the rebels — had gotten to Abdul Wahid. "He felt like his life was being threatened," she says. "He was begging for understanding, and we were twisting his arm."

Minnawi had begun the day conflicted about the deal

(Pastorius note: he was conflicted about a deal he was signing which had been brokered by the UN and negotiated with Abdul Wahid),

but throughout the session he seemed to be wearing down. He looked uncomfortable in his suit, and to the assembled diplomats he seemed much smaller than the occasion, intimidated by the power in the room. "If you don't sign," Zoellick (UN guy) told Minnawi, "we'll drop you. We'll drop you like a rock."

All night, the diplomats pressed Minnawi, pushing him to name any concessions he wanted. Eventually, near dawn, the rebel leader asked Obasanjo for time to consult his commanders in the field.

"When are you going to be back?" Obasanjo demanded.

"Soon," Minnawi said.

"What do you mean by 'soon'?" the Nigerian asked. "Christ said he would be back soon, and that was 2,000 years ago."

"Soon," Minnawi promised.

As the diplomats recessed, word began to spread that Minnawi's brother had been killed in a janjaweed raid.

10 thousand-plus words. No mention of Islam. Only one mention of Jihad, and here it is (it is very telling):

Back in Washington, with the possibility of intervention in Darfur slipping away, Jendayi Frazer renewed her push for military options. The effort seemed quixotic at best: Few believed the Americans, immersed in two theaters of war, would deploy to a third. But Frazer believed that President Bush, who took home a memo on Sudan each Friday, was seriously considering military action. "It was his inclination, absolutely," she says. Then, in November 2006, the administration's new envoy to Sudan, Andrew Natsios, made the mistake of mentioning to reporters that the White House was considering a "Plan B" in case diplomacy failed. The blowback was fierce. European allies were furious, and Bashir warned that sending U.S. troops to Sudan would only serve to attract terrorists and broaden the global jihad. Bush quietly shelved the idea of military action.

Yes, sending U.S. troops to Sudan would have broadened the global Jihad, because that's what Sudan is all about; JIHAD!

And, this Abdul Wahid character. Who the fuck is he? Gee, do you think he might possibly be a Muslim negotiating on behalf of the Infidel, and, if so, why?

He could simply be a representative of one of the oppressed Sufi Muslim tribes. They are considered Infidels too. But, Abdul Wahid said he couldn't sign the agreement because it would be a betrayal to his "people". The Ummah.

But, of course, Rolling Stone wouldn't recognize this.

The Sudanese and Darfur Genocides are all about Islam. They are all about Muslims waging Jihad against the Infidels. That's all it is about. There is nothing else to it.

And yet, no one will tell the truth.

New Jersey Airport Video Shows Guard Leaving Post
Thursday , January 07, 2010

Call it the tortured airport goodbye felt around the world.

A man struggling to say goodbye to a female companion took advantage of a guard's absence to sneak past a Newark Liberty International Airport security checkpoint Sunday evening, causing a terminal shutdown the delayed flights across the globe and calling into question just how secure the nation's airports really are.

The couple's actions emerged in a surveillance video released Thursday by the office of Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., who had pushed the Transportation Security Administration to release the footage.

The video shows a man embracing a woman before she enters a secured, passengers-only area of the terminal.

The man stations himself near an exit lane, where departing passengers pass a security guard to leave the terminal. A minute or so later, after the guard leaves his podium for several seconds, the woman comes back toward the exit and motions to the man, who ducks under the rope and walks into the passenger-only area.

During the time the guard was away from his post, dozens of passengers are seen walking out through the exit lane, further obscuring the man and woman. Someone waiting for an arriving passenger notified the security officer.

The security officer has been placed on administrative leave while the TSA investigates the breach.

One of Newark's terminals was closed for six hours Sunday night, stranding thousands of passengers and wreaking havoc on flight schedules around the world for more than a day.

During a news conference at the airport Wednesday, Lautenberg and fellow Sen. Robert Menendez and Rep. Donald Payne, also of New Jersey, criticized the TSA for the actions of the guard and for the revelation that the security camera at the checkpoint was streaming live video but wasn't recording at the time of the incident.

That forced TSA officials to seek out footage from security cameras operated by Continental Airlines, which delayed the notification of law enforcement personnel on site for about an hour.

Another surveillance camera showed the man leaving by a separate exit about 20 minutes after he entered. He has not been identified or located, but TSA spokeswoman Ann Davis said he would face criminal charges if he is found.

Lautenberg wasn't immediately available for comment on the video Thursday, but said in a statement that "the release of this video will give law enforcement another tool to help find the person who breached the security gate at Newark Liberty Airport. I encourage this individual or anyone with knowledge of his identity to immediately contact law enforcement."

Davis did not immediately return a message seeking comment on the surveillance video.

Pledge of Allegiance to Islam? Start Shutting Down the Mosques

From Atlas Shrugs:

On Dar al Hijrah’s web site: All mosque members are required to “pronounce and sign a Pledge of Allegiance to Islam and Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center Constitution as prepared by the Board.” A pledge of allegiance to Islam.

Why aren't these fortresses shut down? Why are we allowing these enemy military installations to operate freely on American soil as they plot our demise? For years I advocated for monitoring the mosques but we have now gone way beyond that.

Dar al Hijrah is the mosque/fortress that wet nursed respected imam Al Awalki - the spiritual leader of the Fort Hood jihadi and the testicular bomber.

And this pledge of allegiance is consistent with Islamic teaching. You cannot serve anyone or anything above allah. The Constitution and the Koran are incompatible. They will tell you differently - taqiya (deception to advance Islam) - but ask former Muslims who have read the Koran in arabic (not the whitewashed versions used to con the infidel).

Both Hasan and Abdulmutallab were linked to the New Mexico-born, Yemen-based Islamic cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who boasted in October 2009 that Yemen would soon become a center of the global jihad – and has been doing his best to bring that about by preaching violence and hatred against Jews and Christians for years.

Al-Awlaki has also recently decried the cartoons of Muhammad that caused worldwide riots after being published in a Danish newspaper in late 2005. He characterized the cartoons as “one of the worst events or incidents of cursing Muhammad. In fact it might be the worst in our history.” He warned that the cartoonists, “by committing blasphemy against our beloved Muhammad have actually walked straight into a hornet’s nest, and that the dust of this will never settle down.”
