I knew in early '08 that Odama was going to be in over his head.

Being right is TERRIBLE

From the moment of Merrill McPeak and J Wright, this was all like watching the train approaching the washed out bridge while you are calling the engineer and the the phone is ringing in the drinking car where no one can hear.

The WaPo essay makes the case that Obama's not runing in 2012 will (1) advance the left's agenda and (2) save the Democratic Party. That last point is implicit rather than explicit, but it's there if one reads between the lines.

Blondie over at the left there is NOT going to give up her dream that some day Barack will invite HER to the White House... while Michelle is on a junket...

And what makes the WaPo think he will EVER be remembered as a "great president"?

Epam, if you've never read the two-trains-in-the-collapsing-5-mile tunnel chapter from Atlas Shrugged, give yourself a treat. Not only do you get a helluva train wreck, she skewers every single libtard on board before sending them on their way.

Sounds more and more like the rumors we have heard are true. Persuading him not to seek re-election would seem to be the best option.

For the Dem party as POTENTIAL WINNERS Obama not running would be best IF and ONLY IF they elect someone IN THE CENTER.

Such a person no longer exists. The ascendant force in the Democratic party since 2004 and Harry Reid's bent over, take it up the pass paean to Moveon, Kos et all (and their LORD, $) is on the left. Obama sits on the 'center' of that left. Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, SEIU/Acorn, Cliburn, Schumer, Durbin, et all are NOT to Obama's right.

Someone like Ed Rendell is needed, but ARE YOU KIDDING?

If the republicans revert to 2000-2008 form and Obama renounces running we may see some radical shifts in the american political structure.
