Disrespect From Elected Public Servants

Oligarchy!
Forget the live-mic issue. These so-called elected public servants think themselves untouchable. Why are they so disregarding the power of the ballot box?
Why? Because those in the political elite realize that out of office merely means a TEMPORARY term at a wall st investment firm, Cato, AEI, Center for American Progress, a full professorship teaching politics, or a lobbying job until the revolving door comes their way again.
Why is this not yet clear?
It's not just democrats It's not just republicans It's not just Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan Chase, or the Fed, this situation is as institutionalized, and AS PROTECTED as the process that sheltered Nidal Hassan
