Last night, Jon Stewart defended his Comedy Central colleagues, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the creators of "South Park," in a 10-minute segment bashing a radical Muslim group for issuing a death threat against the rude-humor duo.
"I say this to anyone who's threatening death in the name of religion or politics," Stewart concluded, standing in front of a gospel choir for the second time this week, before offering his now-trademark bleeped-out sign-off, which begins with "Go" and ends with "yourselves."

I'm really pleased with Jon Stewart. I'm surprised Comedy Central didn't censor him as well. Fortunately they did not. I hope his boss realizes that Jihadists won't just stop and threats over portraying Mohammad.

I showed it to you awhile back. I think Jon Stewart and who ever writes the daily show may have started down this path sooner than you might think.
Yeah, I see what you mean, Damien. I do remember that video.
The thing is, I guess, that given Stewart's relentless attack on our own civilization (in the context of our war against the Jihad), it would seem that Stewart is not cognizant of the fact that these terror attacks emanate directly from the core principles of Islam.
What do you think? Do you think these guys are "unbelievable motherfuckers" or are they diligent followers of the principles of Allah as laid out by Mohammed?
And, if they are the following, would Stewart be willing to say so?
I love it when he attacks the terrorists, but I guess when it comes down to it, he has to be willing to attack the ideology as well.
In this video, for instance, he attacks RevolutionMuslim, but refrains from explaining that their ideas are ISLAMIC IDEAS.
Now that I've considered your question, I think my answer is, Stewart is still a dhimmi, even though he is spouting his mouth off.
I get the principle that we need to separate the "moderates" from the bad guys, but we also need to be clear that the "moderates" are still identifying themselves as being a part of a Nazi ideology which they are not willing to condemn for what it is.
If the "moderates" want to get rid of the quotation marks and become real Moderates, then I would suggest they condemn the specific principles of Islam which make it a Nazi ideology.
Condemn;
1) the stone and the tree verse calling for the murder of Jews
2) condemn anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism in general (for after all, Zionism is merely the idea that Jews ought to have a homeland
3) condemn the murder of apostates, gays, and adulterers under Sharia
4) condemn the burqa and niqab for what they are, the chains of modern female slavery, and condemn the second-class citizenship of women under Islam
5) condemn the institution of slavery altogether, for truthfully, people are enslaved the world over, according to the rules of Islam (think Sudan, and the enslavement of Filipino maids and workers in Saudi Arabia)
If "moderates" are not willing to condemn these things, then they are not truly Moderates.
And, if Stewart does not understand that these ideas come from Islam then he is just another dhimmi.

I agree with what you are saying about Moderate Muslims.
However if Jon Stewart genuinely doesn't know that terrorism and murder of unbelievers is supported and even encouraged the core teachings of Islam, we can't call him a coward for not pointing that out. I had no idea that the command to kill and convert unbelievers by force was a part of traditional Islamic teachings prior to 9/11. Even than, it took lots of time reading Jihad Watch, and hearing news about the cartoon riots for it to sink in. It wasn't because I was a dhimmi it was because I was naive. I genuinely just assumed that at its core Islam was peaceful like Christianity and Judaism, because I never heard anything otherwise from anyone in the mainstream. To tell the truth I hardly ever heard anything to the contrary from anyone. Yet I also regarded the Palestinian terrorists as evil, and I pretty always took the side of the Israelis.
