Great Moments In The History Of Being Joe Biden: Biden Calls Obama, "Bright", "Articulate", and "Clean"

You know, Biden's got a point there.

And come to think of it, I've never seen Obama eating, or even carrying a watermelon.

Nor, have I seen him tap dancing or playing the harmonica.

And, if you think about it, none of us, not once, have ever seen Obama's eyes and teeth glow in the dark.

Right? Right. Ok, now give me one of those hive-five things where you do all the fancy stuff with the fist bumps and the finger touching.

Joe Biden is a classic.

Obama Thinks China Is Better Than America - Does Obama Plan An Inferno For The United States?

From Copious Dissent:

Barack Obama is the most undisciplined person to run for office in the last 50 years. His Handlers better get control of him otherwise we will see another 1980 landslide with the Democrats wondering what happened. While Obama has made numerous ridiculous statements in the past, his latest statement reaches a new level of absurdity.

Barack stated in a recent speech off the cuff:
Everybody’s watching what’s going on in Beijing right now with the Olympics. Think about the amount of money that China has spent on infrastructure. Their ports, their train systems, their airports are vastly the superior to us now, which means if you are a corporation deciding where to do business you’re starting to think, “Beijing looks like a pretty good option.”

First and foremost, China has not yet figured out how to feed its entire population. The only parts of China where people are doing well is where they have mimicked the United States, such as Hong Kong. There is nothing uniquely Chinese that America should follow.

Moreover, China does not have the insane environmental regulations that we have in America. If they want to build 1000 power plants surrounding an elementary school, nobody is going to stop them. I wonder how the Sierra Club would feel about that?

Nevertheless, if you listen to Obama's statement, his only understanding of China is from watching the Olympics on television. We know now that most of what we see on China through the television is not true.

Lastly, I would like to mention that if Obama lived in China, one of his daughters would be dead. Or would he support the One Child policy too? I wonder when Obama will realize that people from Germany and China do not vote in our elections.

Mitch comments:
If you want to do away with environmental regulations, take people's homes and businesses to build "infrastructure", use slave labor, send dissenters away to reeducation camps, move the homeless out of view and give big,big business huge tax breaks, then you too, may like China. This, I believe, really does reflect Obama's view of what is good.
Because of the one child per couple policy in China, there is a Gendercide going on, resulting in girls disappearing from the population by the hundreds of millions.

In 1997, the World Health Organization reported that over 50 million girls were missing from the Chinese population.

That was eleven years ago. Imagine the numbers now.

The ultimate result of this is what? When there are few women left what will happen?

Will China turn into one giant orgy of prison rape? Will the few women left be sold off to the highest bidder to as luxury vaginas?

Imagine the twisted sexuality of China turning in on itself, as males have no outlet. Ritualistic sexual violence and insanity would ultimately prevail in such a place.

This is a circle of hell deeper than Dante ever envisioned.

And, this all goes without mentioning the practical reality that Communism, as a Ponzi scheme, is based upon the idea that there will be an ever-expanding population paying the benefits of those who grow older and leave the workforce.

Women can only have one baby every ten months or so, even if they are "optimized". What is China going to do to sustain its Communist Ponzi scheme? Euthanasia of the aging population will become a must.

From each according to his ability, to each according to their need, until the need becomes too great to sustain, and then to each a dose of cyanide according to their body weight.

Barack Obama gazes over this lowest circle of hell and sees in it a promise for a better America.

Obama-Annenberg Papers To Be Released

This ought to be interesting. Nixon had his 18 minutes of missing tape. We have all come to be familiar with the word "redacted."

And then, of course, there's the question of what the defitnition of "is" is.

Bill Ayers and Barack Obama, two radical leftists, were given the responsibility of administering tens of millions of dollars.

I have a feeling we shall be encountering a ballet of obfuscation, and possibly outright abscontion, in the next few weeks as these papers are dissected.

From the Chicago Tribune, via S, C, & A:

Documents related to U.S. Sen. Barack Obama’s service for a nonprofit education project started by former 1960s radical William Ayers will be released Tuesday from an archive at the University of Illinois at Chicago library, the university announced.

UIC said Friday it will make public its archive of documents from the Chicago Annenberg Challenge in the library’s Special Collections Department. The Chicago Annenberg Challenge was formed in 1995 to fund education reform initiatives in the city.

The university’s Richard J. Daley Library had refused to release records of the project, which had put Obama, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, in contact with Ayers, who now is an education professor in Chicago.

The university said it had determined after an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the gift that it has legal authority to allow public access.

Storm Track Intimidation: Meanwhile in the Philippines

Not to be outdone by other Islamists this week in the advancement of the religion of peace, Muslims in the Philippines who can’t seem to quite assimilate into a democratic Christian country, have flexed their muscles in worship to Allah.

First they attacked – wait a minute, let me rephrase that – they hacked to death 24 Catholic villagers while they kept dozens of others as human shield.

Putin, Medvedev offer Syria expanded options for weapons systems

MOSCOW -- Russia has approved an expanded series of major military systems for export to Syria.

Officials said Russian President Dmitri Medvedev has approved the sale of rockets, missiles, aircraft and air defense systems to Syria. They said Medvedev, in consultation with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, decided to enable Damascus to select from a range of Russian weapons and systems.

"We are ready to consider requests from the Syrian side on buying more arms," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said. "We are indeed prepared to sell only defensive weapons which are not breaking the regional balance of powers."su-30_BIG.jpg

Officials said Medvedev and Putin discussed the sale of Russian weapons with Syrian President Bashar Assad. They said Syria has discussed the purchase of the S 300PMU-1, Pantsyr-S1 and TOR-M1 air defense systems. They said Assad also sought combat aircraft, including the Su-30 fighter-jet.

"Damascus is Moscow's long-standing partner in military cooperation, and we are expecting to reach an agreement in principle on new weapons deals," a Russian diplomatic source told the Interfax news agency.

Assad, who ended a two-day visit on Aug. 21, has also pledged to consider a Russian request to station the Iskander-E long-range, solid-fuel rocket in Syria. Moscow has asserted that the Iskankder could penetrate Israeli or U.S. missile defense systems.

You know until the mid-late 60's the USA held a weapons embargo against Israel. When the USSR totally upset the balance, we lifted that embargo. If the Russians are going to add in large quantities of the modern SU-30, and the brand new Iskander, what do we all imagine the final response is going to be?

"In principle, yes," Assad said. "We have not thought of it yet. No such proposal has been received. In any case, all similar projects must be first studied by military experts. And when everything is decided, we will make an open and public announcement."

On Aug. 21, Syria, amid sharp Arab criticism, withdrew from any commitment to deploy Iskander. A Syrian official said Assad did not discuss Iskander during his meeting with Medevdev.

Officials said a key question would be Syria's ability to pay for weapons systems. They said Iran was expected to help finance any Russian-Syrian arms deal.

"Of course military and technical cooperation is the main issue," Assad said. "Weapons purchases are very important. I think we should speed it up."

Fox and CNN refuse ad....it is a zinger and may be over the line, but IT IS A ZINGER

Here is the problem....there is NO PROOF that Bill Ayers himself was involved in this particular crime of the bombing of the capital mentioned at the beginning, and then in a frank claim at the end.
Folks at the AMERICAN ISSUES PROJECT, go back and put a fine point on it and stay away from claims which cannot be substantiated, and therefore discredit opposition to Obama. There's plenty of real meat there.

Try ending with the missing/withheld and now hidden Annenberg papers linking the Obama-Ayers? Just end with the question ..why?

To find out go here. This is a comparison of Clinton and Obama, but we can see what issues and what kind of votes were considered to be liberal or not.

Unmanned Drone On Long Island Sparks Terror Investigation

Long Island, New York. A drone built by a Muslim man to be capable of carrying 600 pounds of explosives, or other toxic materials.

Oh yes, it's true, they don't say he was a Muslim. But, he was an Egyptian man who entered the United States on a Sudanese passport.

You do the math.

Fucking Muslim.

And, if any Muslims want to get angry with me for calling one of your fucking terrorists a "fucking Muslim", then why don't you and your people get up off your asses and condemn these fascist terrorists in your fucking Mosques, god damn it.

If a Christian did this, I'd be the first person to flip the switch on the electric chair to kill the guy if the law would allow me.

But, Muslims? Speak bad of another brother Muslim? May it never be.

Fuck you!

The story is from NBC:

An unmanned drone being built by an engineer on Long Island sparked a large counter-terrorism investigation across the New York area, officials tell WNBC.com. Police said they had stumbled upon overnight testing of the drone at a little-used airstrip in Calverton, Long Island.

The investigation began in February of last year, when investigators first learned testing of the drone was underway. Officials said the drone was being designed to carry more than 600 pounds of explosives.

"It could be in the air for 8-10 hours and there's potential harm if it is carrying a large amount of toxic material," NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly said in explaining why his department's counterterrorism officials were concerned.

Police surveillance video obtained by News 4 New York shows a white van rolling onto the tarmac, a small group of men jumping out and ground testing the unmanned flight vehicle.

Kelly said the engineer building the drone never reported his work to any agency including the Federal Aviation Administration or local authorities. Investigators said concern increased for a time when they learned the man behind the project was an Egyptian national who had entered the U.S. on a Sudanese passport.

"It was such a bizarre set of circumstances," said New York State Homeland Security Director Michael Balboni. "Of course we watched it as closely as we did anything that was on our radar screen."

NYPD officials worked with Suffolk County police and the FBI to determine there were no ties to terror. Under questioning, the engineer said he was an inventor hoping to sell this drone model to the U.S. military.

Pastorius comment: If this is true, then why didn't he report it to officials instead of stealing time on a tarmac? This is total bullshit, in my alleged opinion. Once again, Fuck you, you Egyptian national on a Sudanese Passport.

NYPD Lieutenant William McGroarty said during the investigation they had other questions.

In this case, police said there is no evidence any laws were broken as the drone was tested on the ground. Officials said if it had gone into the air without prior FAA approval, it could have been considered a crime.

While there are no terror links, police said their investigation continues. The engineer, who News 4 New York will not name because he was not charged, did not respond to numerous requests for comment. His drone project has now been taken over by a Maryland-based company that has registered with the FAA, officials said. One investigator said the engineer, at best, had showed poor judgment in trying to do the project in a manner that raised so many alarms.

Right. Poor judgement ...

... on the part of the investigators who have determined this is not terror-related.

USC Orders Muslim Student Association To Remove Hadith Calling For The Murder Of Jews From Website

Kick me. I have to make sure I'm awake.

Am I getting this right? An American university has actually challenged a Muslim organization on its hatred?

From Front Page Magazine:

As Muslim Student Association (MSA) chapters have become increasingly influential at universities and colleges around the country, critics have charged that it is a hate group that sympathizes with the international jihad and promulgates an anti-American and anti-Semitic ideology in its campus actions. In response, the MSA has claimed that it is merely another religious and cultural group similar to Hillel, a club for Jewish students, or the Newman Club for Catholics.

That deception has been now unmasked at the University of Southern California, where the school’s Provost, Chrysostomos L. Max Nikias, reacting to a call from the David Horowitz Freedom Center and the Simon Wiesenthal Center, has ordered the campus MSA to remove a “despicable” hadith calling for Muslims to murder Jews as a condition for redemption from its website.

David Horowitz, President of the Freedom Center, hails this as a breakthrough moment when the double standards that control the political and intellectual culture of most universities have finally been challenged. “Up to now, the slightest criticism of radical Islam on campus has been slammed as ‘Islamophobia,’ while Muslim groups and their radical fellow travelers have been allowed to say the most hateful things imaginable about Christians and Jews without any reaction from university administrators whatsoever,” Horowitz says.

“Provost Nikias has called the hadith on the MSA website for what it is: despicable. Given the atmosphere that prevails on most campuses today, it was an act of integrity on his part to make this call and to demand that the MSA live up to basic standards of civility that should govern the university.”
The hadith (sacred teaching) reads as follows:

“Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The
last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the
Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a
tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is
a Jew behind me; come and kill him….”

Its presence on the MSA website is consistent with other actions the Muslim group has initiated on the USC campus. In 2005, for instance, it hosted a conference featuring a speech by Islamist Ahmed Shama, who praised Hizbollah, Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, and told his listeners that the terrorists in post-Saddam Iraq were part—as was the Muslim Student Association itself—of a “global Islamic movement” and that it was “necessary to rise up against the occupation there.”

The David Horowitz Freedom Center worked with the Simon Wiesenthal Center to draft a letter to Alan Casden, a USC trustee, about the “hadith of hate,” as it is often called. Disturbed that a call for genocide should be on the USC server, Casden contacted Provost Chrysostomos Nikias to express his concern. Nikias investigated the matter and sent Casden the following letter:

“…The passage you cited is truly despicable and I share your concerns about its being on the USC server. We did some investigations and I have ordered the passage removed.

“The passage in the Hadith that you brought to our attention violates the USC Principles of Community, and it has no place on a USC server.”

Russia's real victory...NATO IS A FARCE..so what do they think in Qandahar?

Russia Growls, NATO Meows

By Charles Krauthammer

Read the first five paragraphs of the NATO statement on the Russian invasion of Georgia and you will find not a hint of who invaded whom. The statement is almost comically evenhanded. "We deplore all loss of life," it declared, as if deploring a bus accident. And, it "expressed its grave concern over the situation in Georgia." Situation, mind you.

It's not until paragraph six that NATO, a 26-nation alliance with 900 million people and nearly half of world GDP, unsheathes its mighty sword, boldly declaring "Russian military action" -- not aggression, not invasion, not even incursion, but "action" -- to be "inconsistent with its peacekeeping role."

Having launched a fearsome tautology Moscow's way, what further action does the Greatest Alliance Of All Time take? Cancels the next NATO-Russia Council meeting.

That's it. No dissolution of the G-8. No blocking of Russian entry to the World Trade Organization. No suspension of participation in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics (15 miles from the Georgian border). No statement of support for the Saakashvili government.

Remember: At issue is not military action, only measures -- painless for the West -- that would significantly affect Russia.

Pat: Red Rape in Georgia

The Fixx ~ Red Skies at Night

So reads the headlines of The Guardian.
And from the same source:

"Several Russian trucks overshot and missed their turning. One broke down. A soldier got the wheezing vehicle going again. Where was he from? "Chechnya. We've come here to help," he said. For the terrified residents of Gori and surrounding villages, it didn't seem like help. Yesterday morning, as the Russian tanks advanced from their base in South Ossetia they passed through Georgian controlled-villages, telling residents to hang out white flags or be shot.Behind them, according to people fleeing those villages, came a militia army of Chechen and Ossetian volunteers who had joined up with the regular Russian army. The volunteers embarked on an orgy of looting, burning, murdering and rape, witnesses claimed, adding that the irregulars had carried off young girls and men."

There are accounts slowly coming out of Georgia about the behavior of Russian soldiers in Georgia. Unlike the criticism leveled at American troops, the Russians, like Muslims, Chinese and other groups favored by the left, do not get much press, either here or at home. No marches on the Russian Embassy, no Europeans going to the streets, nothing accepts allusions by the left and Obama that Bush is at fault. It is now time to collect some of the outrageous tales coming out of this seemingly civilized section of the world. To review Putin's troops and expose their Rules Of Engagement. Maybe it is time for a refresher on why our parents and grandparents hated Russia, why so many immigrated to America

Mari's Tale

21 year old girl raped by "soldiers" (eye-witness reports)
Elene Gelashvili, 21 years old, is a refugee from the village of Nikozi:

"When the fighting started in Cxinvali, we all took shelter in the cellars of our houses…our house wasn't hit by a bomb, but there were dead and wounded all over the place. We couldn't stay there any longer and decided to walk by foot towards Gori. On the road a driver picked us up and took us to Gori with his minibus.

He told the young girl to cover their heads with a veil and act as if you were elderly people, the Russians and Ossetians are everywhere, they are stopping cars and if they like some girl, they take her right away. "Act, as if you were old women!" My friend Mari said, "What a nonsense, how should they take us away"; we implored her, but she was such a hard-head….

We hadn't even passed a kilometre, when we were stopped by 30 armed Russians. A skinny guy put is head into the minibus, saw Mari and pulled her out of the car. All in all there were three men in the bus, which they started to beat with their guns. Then they told the driver to drive on, I still have Maris pale face on my mind….

Two days later we were still in Gori but planned to go to Tbilisi, when we heard of a girl, that had been tortured by soldiers; I couldn't breathe anymore…….I said to myself "if that would really be Mari, she´d be alive at least. I asked some soldiers for her and when I finally found her I hardly recognised her….she had blood all over and was in a terrible state. They had taken her to a village near Cxinvali and about 50 men had raped her there. Then they had put her on drugs and mutilated her. She begged them to kill her…"

Aliko's Tale

It´s hard for me to speak about those things, but I have to, cause all have to know how inhuman and sadistic these Russians are. Take them to court, I beg you…..

My wife has died when she gave birth to our twins, I raised our twins alone, after that also my grandchildren. When this horrible war started Ani was 17, Levan 15. Levan was torn into pieces in front of my eyes by a bomb, his body has been separated from the legs. Ani was taken to a house by soldiers, those murderers, I could hear hear wailing and moaning, but coudn´t do anything about it; I was lying on the ground, after they had beaten me up….

And those pigs still weren’t satisfied with raping her, they told her: “Run, if you make it away from here within 10 seconds, you´ll be free. The deafened and weeping child ran away and was shot by them when they hadn´t even count to three. My dear grandchild."

Tina's tale

"Happened incredible thing: Russian barbarians demolished our gorge. They bombed houses; houses with people inside were in flames. We left our homes and escaped, the road was horrifying: bombs were exploding in front of us damaging cars and people. I saw a car packed with people blew up, human intestines were flying in the air. Some women from my village chose other way to leave the gorge, through river and forests.

Cars were carrying bodies of young boys. The gorge is full of dead bodies who were not buried and have been left for crows to eat. I saw a woman who bowled up in front of her house, she was split in many many parts. Wounded asked for help, but there was nobody able to help them. I saw how Russians put two men in sacks and shoot them… Elders stayed in gorge. My parents stayed there. My dad has diabetes and can’t walk. I know their life is in danger, they know it too and they are waiting for death."

Russians robbing a bank & looting Georgia

GEORGIAN President Micheil Saakashvili is accusing irregulars associated with the Russian army of raping and looting their way across his country.

"This army travels around with irregulars, travels around with marauders, travels around with rapists, travels around with arsonists, robbers and with looters," Mr Saakashvili said today."

"Saakashvili said Russian forces have run amok. "Russian tanks are going for villages inhabited by Georgian populations and throwing people out of their houses, putting people into concentration camps that they are setting up in those villages, and separating men and women," he told CBS News.

"They are taking things like even furniture, toilet seats, killing people, terrorizing people."

And The Mainstream Media does not think that Mr Putin's army deserves anything but a mild reprimand and a hint or two that Georgia brought this on themselves.

GOOD NEWS: The Phillipine Government Scraps Appeasement Of Muslims

My family is from the Island of Mindanao. My father-in-law fought against Mindanao Muslims personally. He and his family had to flee directly because of the fucking throat-slashing Muslims.

Luckily, they were able to get to the United States. Many Filipino Christians don't have it so good.

Thank God, the Phillipine government has come to its senses and said, "This far and no further."

If these Muslims can not live in peace with the Christian Filipinos, then they all ought to be imprioned or killed. Sharia is sedition. And anyone who advocates sedition deserves the ultimate penalty. That's that.

From the BBC:

The Philippine government has pulled out of a controversial autonomy deal with Muslim separatist rebels in the south, following days of fighting.

A presidential spokeswoman described the move as a "painful step", but said leaders were still open to talks.

The government had agreed to expand an existing Muslim autonomous zone in a bid to end decades of violence.

But Christian communities opposed the deal and when the Supreme Court blocked it, the rebels launched attacks.

Earlier this week, raids by guerrillas from the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) on several towns near the border of the existing autonomous zone in the southern island of Mindanao left at least 30 people dead.

'New agreement'

The government had hoped that the autonomy deal - which would see the existing region expanded by 712 villages - would kick-start talks with the rebels.

You don't negotiate with rebels. You kill 'em.

Iraq Invites Russian Oil Company Back

If Iraq was an Imperialistic War for Oil, then America is the weakest imperialist nation in the history of the world.

And, if we built a functioning Democracy in Iraq, on the theory that Democracies don't war among one another, then why is Iraq openly courting our enemies in Iran, and now the burgeoning grumpy bear of Russia?

See our asshole where our face oughta be
Why, because we are friggin' idiots.

From Business Week:

An Iraqi Cabinet minister invited Russia's Lukoil on Wednesday to renew its bid on the vast West Qurna-2 oil field and urged Russian companies to seek roles rebuilding dilapidated power plants as Iraq searches for foreign investment to revive its oil industry and infrastructure.

"I hope Russian companies will take part in the bidding," Iraqi Electricity Minister Karim Wahid told a news conference in Moscow. "Lukoil is welcome to bid for the service contract at the second or third stage of the tender in March or September."

Lukoil signed a contract for West Qurna-2, one of the largest oil fields in the world, in 1997. Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein declared the deal void shortly before the 2003 U.S. invasion. West Qurna-2 is believed to hold 6 billion barrels in proven reserves.

Lukoil's officials have repeatedly said they continue to consider the contract valid as it was not revoked within the international legal framework. But in a recent interview with the an-Noor newspaper, Iraqi Oil Minister Hussain al-Shahristani referred to the contract as no longer valid.

Wahid and Russian Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko had earlier agreed to set up two working groups to develop power industry cooperation. Wahid also called on Russian companies to bid in tenders to revive the country's power plants and build new ones.

He said Iraq is eager to renew deals signed in the 1990s and early 2000s. "We are currently reviewing their technical and economic terms, but not their political component," he said.

The Iraqis are anxious to find foreign investors to help modernize their vast oil industry, which suffered from years of neglect under Saddam's rule and during the 13 years of U.N. sanctions following the 1990 Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.

Iraq is also anxious to reach out to partners in Russia, China and other countries to avoid relying too heavily on American and British companies. That could feed criticism that the 2003 invasion was aimed at seizing control of Iraq's oil.

Janusz Bugajski of the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C. said that the timing of the Iraqi announcement was interesting given sharp U.S. criticism of the Russian military action against Georgia, but that who initiated the move was unclear.

"Did someone within the U.S. suggest that Iraq reach out to Russia as a show of good will, or did Russia want to show that they are indispensable in the Middle East, that they are a player?" he said.

"Russia wants to go back into areas where it has lost influence," Bugajski said. "They might be able to say, 'We are a responsible player.' That would certainly counter their image over the past two weeks as a force that can do a lot of damage."

Increased participation by Russia in Iraq could also be a benefit for the U.S., which has sought help in reconstruction efforts.

"The only danger is if there are deals to sell off some of that infrastructure to Russia, power plants and such," Bugajski said. "That would come with greater political influence which would not fit in with our policies in the Middle East."

Jimmy the Dhimmi to speak at DNC?

Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama's party in Denver is going to be 'graced' with a speech by former President Jimmy the Dhimmi Carter, who was last seen laying a wreath at the grave of terror innovator Yasser Arafat and meeting with Hamas representatives in Egypt and Syria. The Republican Jewish Coalition has called on Obama to rescind the invitation to Carter (Hat Tip: Jennifer Rubin).
The Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) today called on Sen. Barack Obama and the Democratic Party leadership to remove former President Jimmy Carter from the program at the Democratic National Convention. Yesterday it was announced that Carter is scheduled to speak at the Convention in Denver on Monday, August 25, 2008.

Through the years, President Carter has consistently demonstrated by his statements and actions a troubling anti-Israel bias.

"Jimmy Carter's long history of anti-Israel bias has rendered him unfit to address the Democratic Convention. It is incumbent upon the Democratic Party leadership and Senator Obama to remove Carter from the program in Denver. The Democratic Party and Senator Obama's continued embrace of Carter and his anti-Israel bias sends a troubling message to the Jewish community. It stands in stark contrast to the GOP and John McCain's pro-Israel stance," said RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks. "Additionally, Senator Obama should reject Carter's superdelegate vote. The hand that shook Khaled Meshal's should not be allowed to rise in support of Senator Obama's candidacy for president."
With all due respect, I disagree with the Republican Jewish Coalition. Jimmy Carter's long history of anti-Israel bias makes him the perfect candidate to a Democratic party led by Barak Hussein Obama. He deserves a place on the program in Denver, because when the Democrats applaud Carter they will be showing their true colors. The hand that shook Khaled Meshal's is exactly the hand to show all those knee-jerk Democratic Jewish voters what an Obama Presidency will mean for the Jews and Israel. That's not to say that I expect anyone who has replaced Judaism with Liberalism as his religion to be persuaded not to vote Democratic by Carter's presence in Denver - I don't. But I'm not convinced that every Democratic voter is so blind to reality.

The RJC is right about one point: "The Democratic Party and Senator Obama's continued embrace of Carter and his anti-Israel bias sends a troubling message to the Jewish community." It does indeed. And maybe having Carter be a featured speaker in Denver will awaken the Jewish community enough to hear that message.

Pamela Interviews John Bolton On Voices Of Freedom 1100 AM KFNX Phoenix

Pamela Geller's excellent interview with Ambassador John Bolton on KFNX Radio-1100 Phoenix has Bolton echoing my post of August 9th 2008, down to my observations about the Administration's pre-occupation with volleyball, while Georgia was being pillaged. My article was deemed to be "too provacative" for the blogosphere, and was, with the exception of the New Media Journal, Canada Free Press, and Babbazee's Spleen........totally ignored.

I could care less about partisan politics...especially when the parties involved are modelled after those of the Soviet Union. Bolton got the message out.....that is all that matters.

Bolton for President!

A Splendid Diversion
While the World Watches the Olympic Games

By Michael Travis

Overshadowed by the dazzling spectacle of the Olympic games in Beijing, the aftermath of the all out war between Russia and Georgia has received scant coverage and analysis in the North American media. America's enemies however, have forsaken the broadcasts of table-tennis, sprinters in hijabs, and competitive line-dancing, to give their undivided attention to what they view as far better sport; the defeat of "Team America" at the hand of the undisputed champion of international discord, Russia.Georgia Map

According to the Red Cross, Georgian and Ossetian civilians are seeking safe haven in Turkey, a move that has caused the Turkish government to reassess its stalled bid for NATO membership.

In a week that has seen General David Petraeus pledging more military equipment and specialized training for the Hizballah-dominated Lebanese government, U.S. State Dept. negotiations with the Iranian leadership in Geneva, and Presidential kow-towing to the Communist regime in China, you can bet the bank that Japan, Taiwan, Israel, and Eastern Europe's new NATO members, are becoming very nervous indeed.

Nonetheless, the United States and Poland has signed an agreement to deploy a U.S. missile defence system on their territory, to which Vladimir Putin has responded with threats of military retaliation.PutinGeorgia

Under advisement from the U.S. State Department, and U.S. military advisors on the ground in Tbilisi, the Georgian government has signed a French-U.S. brokered ceasefire agreement. Russia's response has been to move deeper into Georgian territory, establishing encampments and checkpoints throughout the vanquished nation.

While Russia perceives the United States to be a paper tiger, averse to defending its friends and allies, the Russian bear remains a power without equal, able to impose its will upon any and all foes. The Political Correctness, and subservience to the agenda of a Globalist "International Community" that is the cornerstone of U.S. Foreign policy, has provided fresh stimulus for Russia's quest to reclaim its position as a world power to be accommodated and feared.

Lasha Zhvania, head of the Georgian Parliament's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, has likened the Russian war against Georgia to "Tisha B'Av," the historic destruction of the first and second Jewish Temples, and "the saddest day in Jewish history." Tisha B'Av set the stage for almost 2,000 years of expulsions, persecution and genocide against the Jewish people. In an era that sees an ambitious Russian government once again aligned with some of history's most bloodthirsty regimes and Islamic movements, Zhvania's observation should be taken very seriously.

As Jews fasted on this last 9th day of Av (Sunday, 9 August 2008) and the American President joined the "Global Village" in watching a volleyball game, the brutal forces of tyranny and violence consolidated their hold on humanity.

In the Philippines, Islamic fighters with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front are fighting pitched battles within Christian villages in the autonomous North Cotabato province.MILF As blood flows across Mindanao, 130,000 Christians have fled their homes, and the MILF are demanding their own, sovereign, Islamic Republic.

At the Olympics, sports fans cheered on their swim teams as American tourists were murdered in the streets of Beijing. Despite a brutal campaign of repression waged outside the Olympic venues, the "International Community" has managed to bow ever more deeply to the Communist regime in China.

Beirut The de facto Hizballah government in Lebanon can hardly contain their excitement as they await the delivery of more U.S. Military equipment to add to its already burgeoning arsenal of Iranian and Russian weaponry. With surface to surface, surface to air, and anti-ship missile emplacements in operation, Iran's proxy army is prepared to launch devastating attacks against Israeli population centers. The new American weapons can be considered frosting on the Lebanese terrorist's cake.

Iran of course is in the final stages of preparation for a nuclear attack against Israel, and quite likely, the United States as well.

Georgia? It's in flames. And the world stands at the precipice of global conflagration. But, hey! The U.S. Team won over 90 medals as of today!Olympics

At this point in time, the United States lacks clearly stated foreign policy, backed by a determined military command. Political Correctness and public relations considerations have revealed an Administration in disarray, with undefined priorities. Without a convincing display of solidarity with our allies, America's reputation will be tarnished beyond repair.

With the demise of our perceived credibility and the loss of our traditional sphere of influence, attacks against U.S. interests abroad, and terror operations on American soil seem inevitable. Negotiating with terrorists and enabling despotic regimes under the dubious banner of "Democratization" has put American lives in peril and set the stage for more regional conflicts.

Remember, Russia, Iran and Lebanon are all "vibrant democracies," yet they represent America's deadliest enemies.

Death in Denver - A Small Event with an Ominous Warning

If a Muslim set off a nuclear weapon in a major U.S. city, would our government officials tell us it wasn't terrorism?

From Ilana Freedman,
Editor and CEO of Gerard Group International, Inc.

Denver Police have closed their investigation into the mysterious death of an indigent man in a suite of a luxury Denver hotel. They announced that his death was suicide, and that there was no link to terrorism. An FBI spokesman has also stated that the incident has no apparent terrorism connection.

The man was Saleman Abdirahman Dirie and, the coroner's verdict notwithstanding, his death raises far more questions than have been answered by the Denver police, who seemed quite happy to wash their hands of the whole affair. But the story surrounding Dirie's death is bizarre, and needs to be unraveled.

The facts, as far as they have been released, are these: Saleman Abdirahman Dirie was a 29-year-old Canadian citizen, a Muslim, and a former refugee from Somalia with no visible means of support and no money. He came to Denver from Ottawa by bus and checked into an upscale hotel (where the least expensive rooms rent for nearly $250 a night) for which he paid cash. There are reports that several thousand dollars in cash were also found in his room. He was not seen again until his body was found six days later next to a one pound jar of sodium cyanide crystals.

If you consider that this all took place in the city where the Democratic National Convention was about to take place, suspicion becomes alarm.

The questions themselves are disquieting. Why was he in Denver? Where did he get the cash to pay for his room? Where did he get a full pound of sodium cyanide crystals, enough to poison hundreds of people, and what was he planning to do with it?

Sodium cyanide is one of several cyanide salts that are among the most rapidly acting of all known poisons. These crystals are potent inhibitors of respiration, depriving the body of its ability to use oxygen. Its effect is deadly and swift. Mixed with acid, it becomes significantly more potent as it generates a highly toxic gas. Its close cousin, hydrogen cyanide, was used by the Nazis to produce Zyclon B, the gas of choice to murder millions of Jews in the Nazis' infernal gas chambers.

In short, a little goes a long way. So no one needs a pound of sodium cyanide to commit suicide, when a mere taste will do. A more likely scenario is that his curiosity got the better of him and he opened the jar, accidentally breathing or ingesting some of the cyanide. That would make it, perhaps, an accidental poisoning, but hardly a suicide.

The more important question remains: why else would anyone need a pound of cyanide? The timing of Dirie's visit to Denver, less than two weeks before the Democratic convention, raises an alarming possibility. National Republican and Democratic Conventions have been considered a high value target since 9/11 and the last round was surrounded by heavy (if imperfect) security. Compromising the water or HVAC systems in the Convention Center is a plan that might seem quite attractive in the name of jihad. And it could kill several hundred people.

The combined circumstances make the possibility that Dirie was an operative part of a jihad plot very real. Evolving strategies among the terrorists groups seem to lean towards small cells carrying out limited attacks on prime targets. This situation could be that, with Dirie being a one man jihadi whose job was to place the poison where it would do the most damage. On the other hand, if a very large attack were planned, as seems possible in this case, he might have been one of a larger group of terrorists, each with a single role to play. In this case, he would not have known the parts of the plots or the people who would carry them out. If the accidental death scenario is correct, then his extreme incompetence, which ended in his contamination and death, would indicate that the latter situation would be the most plausible one.

And that means that there are others like Dirie still out there, taking courage in the statements of the Denver police that the case is closed. As the festivities preceding the Democratic Convention are about to begin, the time to take this possibility seriously is now.

There are terrorist cells active throughout the country, using mosques and community centers, coffee houses, homes, and street meetings to develop and carry out their plans. Despite what the Denver police have said, this appears to be far more than a dysfunctional man taking his own life.

There is a pervading opinion among our leaders that Americans need to be protected from uncomfortable and frightening truths. Instead of giving us the opportunity to protect ourselves and our families, they prefer to tell us that everything is okay and under control, even when the threat is real and current. The time to be honest with the American people began a long time ago and the time for concern is now.

New Al Qaeda Manual Reflects Changing Face Of Terror

From Fox News:

By Shannon Bream

A newly discovered online Al Qaeda manual is giving intelligence officials new insight into how the group's leaders are training recruits to further move the organization from a centralized operation toward smaller global cells.

The manual, called "Method for Building the Personality of a Terrorist Mujahid" and written by an Islamist forum contributor nicknamed "Shamil al-Baghdadi," encourages militant followers to stop focusing on pulling off attacks on the scale of 9-11 and to start executing numerous smaller attacks.

It states that if for some reason the mission fails, the Jihadi must not abort, but instead carry on alone — as a one-man cell.

According to New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly, it's a strategy of which domestic law enforcement agencies are well aware.

"If you can't do the big attacks, do the small attacks. Do smaller attacks and more of them," Kelly said.

The new manual, which allegedly surfaced on an Islamic Web forum sometime in March, outlines a number of lessons, from how to form a terror cell to fundraising efforts.

It advocates assassinations by shooting, poisoning and booby-trapping cell phones and computers. The manual prioritizes targets by ranking and lists categories such as "high profile," which represent presidents and prime ministers.

Targeted organizations have a similar ranking, in which state sponsored groups are listed as "high-potential" organizations.

Recruits are also told to organize credit card scams and to rob police stations in order to get weapons.

Most shocking are the lessons on kidnapping, with orders to slaughter hostages in a way that will terrify the public.

"I propose you start with those that have blood on their hands torturing and suppressing Muslims like high-ranking intelligence officers, the governor or any foreign official," writes al-Baghdadi.

Cell members are also persuaded to carry out attacks on cultural and business centers, taking warfare to the streets.

As Al Qaeda cells become localized and more autonomous, terror experts say the techniques outlined in the manual illustrate of changing the face of the organization itself.

Dr. Matthew Levitt, director of The Washington Institute's Stein Program on Counterterrorism and Intelligence, said the structure has shifted.

Storm Track Infiltration: Bringing Democracy to Afghanistan

Do you think that right about now NATO is wondering whatever happened to brining democracy to Afghanistan? Our troops are fighting a dying for freedom in that backward country while day in and day out news surfaces on how democracy is failing in that country.

First of course, was the mistake of writing into the Afghan constitution that it will be an Islamic Republic. Taking a cue from that faux pas, the Islamists pursue their goal of making the population yield to what’s written in the second article of the Afghan – and Iraqi constitution.

Here are some of the latest examples.

Gertz: U.S. diplomacy no match for Putin strategy

Russia policy failure: U.S. diplomacy no match for Putin strategy

The Georgia-Russia military clash over the breakaway region of Ossetia is being viewed in Washington intelligence circles as a failure of U.S. policy toward Russia, a policy that has relied on the personal diplomacy of President Bush rather than on U.S. national interest.

U.S. President George W. Bush speaks with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in Beijing on Aug. 8. Reuters/Guang Niu
Bush has stated repeatedly in the past that he believes world problems can be worked out when leaders have good personal relations and he specifically stated that his contact with former Russian President Vladimir Putin was the key to keeping Moscow from becoming a hostile, anti-democratic power.

However, Russia over the past eight years has moved steadily away from democracy and toward anti-democratic authoritarianism. The attacks by Russian strategic bombers and missiles on Georgia represent the first real post-Soviet threats from Moscow.

The Russian military attacks on Georgia in the aftermath of Georgia's military incursion into Ossetia, where Russia was covertly backing separatist rebels, are the most visible failure of U.S. policy toward Russia that has been marked by damaging neglect on the part of the White House National Security Council staff, the State Department and to a lesser extent the Pentagon.

State Department officials, in particular, ignored Russia's slide toward neo-Sovietism, claiming in internal policy papers that Moscow remained committed to pro-U.S., pro-democratic reform policies. These officials failed to recognize that Moscow, based on its opposition to a U.S. missile defense site in central Europe, had shifted dramatically against the United States.

Senior Bush aides, including Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Defense Secretary Robert Gates have expressed publicly that they did not understand Russian opposition to the missile defense site in Poland and Czech Republic.

Weak initial U.S. response

The United States' initial response to Russian military attacks against George did not overtly condemn Moscow's action and was likely interpreted by Moscow as weakness in the fact of Russian aggression.

The response was limited to mild diplomatically couched public statements by President Bush and senior administration leaders.

The weak U.S. response was also obvious in the early comments of U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Zalmay Khalilzah who said Aug. 8 at the UN that the United States "deplored" the Russian attacks, short of a harsher diplomatic terminology of condemnation.

Georgia, which failed to gain NATO membership as a result of failed U.S. diplomacy within the European alliance, has been left at the mercy of the militarily stronger Russia.

U.S. intelligence predicted conflict but not its intensity

U.S. intelligence agencies adequately predicted that a Georgian military incursion into Ossetia would trigger a Russian military response, but the scope and ferocity of the attacks was not anticipated, according to U.S. officials.

One U.S. intelligence report stated days before the conflict broke out that Russia was prepared to join any conflict triggered by a Georgian military incursion into Ossetia.

The report quoted Russian special envoy to the region, Yuri Popov, as saying that "Russia will not be able to stand aside" if conditions led to a conflict in South Ossetia. Popov stated that the presence of ethnic Russians in the conflict zone was the main reason.

Some specialists believe Moscow set up the Tbilisi government and prompted the Georgian action deliberately in order to take military action. Russian leaders are demanding that Georgia's leader be replaced.

Georgian Minister of State for Reintegration Temur Iakobashvili denied reports that Israel imposed an embargo on supplying weapons to Georgia.

More Islamic Legalism

Do you celebrate birthdays and anniversaries? Mother's Day? If so, you are an infidel and observing un-Islamic practices! I say, "Go for it!"

From this Dhimmi Watch posting by Raymond Ibrahim, our August 22 guest on The Gathering Storm Radio Show:
Saudi Grand Mufti declares celebrating birthdays an infidel practice

And every major Muslim thinker agrees. Another clear instance of the doctrine of
al-Wala' we al-Bara', as the issue at hand is the great need to differentiate oneself from non-Muslims and their infidel practices. "Grand mufti rejects Al-Oadah's fatwa," from Arab News, August 20:

Celebrating birthdays and wedding anniversaries has no base in Islam, Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Alsheikh has said.

Al-Alsheikh, who is the highest religious authority in the Kingdom, said Muslims only have two official celebrations — Eid Al-Fitr, which is celebrated at the end of Ramadan, and Eid Al-Adha, which is celebrated on Dhul Hijjah 10. He added that Muslims also have a weekly Eid, which is Friday.

The mufti said that the celebration of other occasions such as birthdays, wedding anniversaries and mother’s day were un-Islamic.

Several prominent Muslim scholars have supported the mufti, adding that celebrating such occasions is in imitation of people of the Jewish and Christian faiths.
And here is another way which Saudi makes sure to stay distant from us despised infidels, from an August 20, 2008 editorial in the Washington Post:
Olympic Embarrassment: Saudi Arabia's Olympic team has no women.
"THE PRACTICE of sport is a human right." So proudly affirms the International Olympic Committee in Principle 4 of the "Fundamental Principles of Olympism." "Every individual must have the possibility of practising sport, without discrimination of any kind and in the Olympic spirit." And Principle 5 makes explicit that discrimination based on gender "is incompatible with belonging to the Olympic Movement." So what is an all-male Saudi team doing in Beijing?...

"It's not as if there are no women from majority-Muslim countries competing in the Beijing Games....Algeria, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates have women on their teams. In fact, Bahrain and the UAE even allowed women to carry their national flags....Brunei is the other Muslim country that does not allow women to play sports....
Saudi Moslems — What a bunch of party poopers!

Just what does the Grand Mufti consider acceptable "Islamic" fun?

Anderson Cooper takes note of THE ISSUE

Anderson Cooper shows where HE is when giving out advice to Obama as a 'neutral' observer for CNN
In part, he needs to change the narrative of the campaign -- away from the notion that the biggest single problem facing the country -- the "transcendent" threat of our time, as McCain argues -- is terrorism.

Terrorists and Islamic radicals are indeed a significant challenge and must be overcome but most observers would say that it is one of several challenges and that others are equally pressing, starting with the urgent, urgent need to put our own house in order and the need to deal with additional global issues such as global warming, nuclear proliferation and the rise of Asia.

Oh, really? Prove that. Observers where? Britain? Cambridge? Berkeley? Upper West Side Manhattan? What makes that kind of phrase anything but a cute betrayal of objectivity?

We have plenty to face, but the one where they try to kill you usually holds attention except, of course, where it results in the election of those you find smelly.

A major test of the Denver convention is whether Democrats can recast the central argument of the campaign and throw the Republicans back on the convention. Either Democrats persuade the country why they should now take charge or perhaps they aren't ready to govern after all.

Obama 'high road campaign' takes a detour when things get tough

Barack Obama savaged his Republican rival John McCain Wednesday for running a dishonorable campaign that aides to the Democrat said smacked of "reckless" desperation.

In some of the most vehement attacks yet heaped on the Arizona senator by the Obama camp during this White House campaign, the Illinois senator said he honored McCain's public service but not the manner of his electioneering.

Coinciding with a new poll suggesting McCain has overhauled Obama among voters nationally, Obama's senior foreign policy adviser Susan (let's appoint Jimmah jews are south africans Carter, and Jim F*ck the jews Baker as middle east negotiators) Rice portrayed the Republican as a hot-head who could not be trusted to stay cool under fire.

McCain's "tendency is to shoot first and to ask questions later," she said on a conference call alongside former White House anti-terrorism adviser Richard Clarke, who called the Republican "trigger-happy" and "reckless."

McCain, according to Rice, "cheer-led (President George W.) Bush's decision to take our eye off the ball and start a war in Iraq that had nothing to do with 9/11."

Of course, that requires one to believe that only in Afghanistan can we find those who want to kill americans, and destroy our way of life. Or was that Afghanistan and Waziristan, or was that Afghanistan and Waziristan and Pakistan. And no doubt the invasion of Iraq is why we have Al Qaeda in the Maghreb, and attacks in India, and attacks all over southern Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. Yes, Iraq is why Somalia and the Sudan are the way they are. And the invasion of Iraq is undoubtedly why at this very moment Saudi funded mosques teach racism and America hate RIGHT HERE. All this is so obvious that it compels one to wonder if these people are that stupid, or if they are putting a conveniently phrased political argument before all else to win an election (where oh where have I heard such a thing before?)

"This is a record that belies anything approaching sound judgment," she said.

"I think we are in a war against Islamic extremism, and I think that war is worldwide" John McCain

Clarke added, "he has consistently been quick-draw McCain here on every issue. His first instinct is to rattle sabers and look for a military solution."
Georgia, at the start.....

Obama's campaign released the following statement on the situation:
"I strongly condemn the outbreak of violence in Georgia, and urge an immediate end to armed conflict. Now is the time for Georgia and Russia to show restraint, and to avoid an escalation to full scale war. Georgia's territorial integrity must be respected. All sides should enter into direct talks on behalf of stability in Georgia, and the United States, the United Nations Security Council, and the international community should fully support a peaceful resolution to this crisis."

Here's McCain's statement: "[T]he news reports indicate that Russian military forces crossed an internationally recognized border into the sovereign territory of Georgia. Russia should immediately and unconditionally cease its military operations and withdraw all forces from sovereign Georgian territory. What is most critical now is to avoid further confrontation between Russian and Georgian military forces. The consequences of Euro-Atlantic stability and security are grave. The government of Georgia has called for a ceasefire and for a resumption of direct talks on South Ossetia with international mediators. The U.S. should immediately convene an emergency session of the United Nations Security Council to call on Russia to reverse course. The U.S. should immediately work with the EU and the OSCE to put diplomatic pressure on Russia to reverse this perilous course that it has chosen.

We should immediately call a meeting of the North Atlantic Council to asses Georgia's security and review measures NATO can take to contribute to stabilizing this very dangerous situation.
