Condi Blasts "Loathsome" CNN Reporter For Trashing US

Condi clearly has little patience for this idiotic CNN reporter.

From Gateway Pundit:

CNN reporter Zain Verjee interviewed Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on the shoe-chucking incident in Baghdad. Vergee asked Condi how it feels knowing America is so loathed.

Condi's response to this US-basher was excellent:

Here's part of the exchange:

Zain Verjee: ...But the United States is so loathed!

Condoleezza Rice: The United States is not loathed. The policies of the United States are sometimes not liked. People don't like that we've had to say hard things and do hard things about terrorism. People don't like that we've spoken fiercely for the right of Israel to defend itself at the same time we've worked for a Palestinian State. But I have to go back. So many people in and around when that incident happened told me how embarrassed they were by the fact that that had happened.

Verjee: Do you regret...

Condoleezza Rice: No. Only that the focus of those who were supposed to be reporting history didn't focus on the historical moment which was- This was the president of the United States in Baghdad, for goodness sakes, with the freely elected prime minister in a show of friendship.

Canadian US-basher? Umm, Pastorius, Zain Verjee is an East Indian Muslim from Kenya. Just because she went to McGill University doesn't make her a Canadian, although for all I know the moronic Cdn. government granted her citizenship. Anyway the important thing is that you guys are stuck with her now. Enjoy!

Jeppo,
You're right.

That was written by Gateway Pundit, not by me.

Sorry about that. I'll take it out.

Pastorius,

RevolutionOFCG shares his thoughts on the shoe throwing incident.

A story making the news round the world is of an Egyptian father who offered his daughter to the shoe throwing "hero". It is quite amazing how different people reward their heroes. In Switzerland Federer was considered a national hero after his win and the people of Switzerland gave him a cow. That put the difference between East and West in a nutshell.

Thanks Pastorius, though knowing of McGill's notorious leftism, it's likely that young Zain was steeped in anti-American propaganda while she was there. So I guess we've got to take part of the blame.

Zain Virjee: Reason #876,943,381 why Muslim immigration should be ended.

OT
Just a heads up Pastorius, part 5 of Pickled Radish's evil, racist manifesto From Meccania To Atlantis is up at Brussels Journal.

Enjoy!

Good for Rice. She keeps her poise and puts the interviewer's perspective in perspective!
