It's Just A Tiny Minority - Pay No Attention To The Maniacal Prophet Behind The Curtain

The other day a Pew Poll came out which told us that 24% of young American Muslims believe that suicide bombings are ok, and that nearly 40% of all American Muslims believe that Islam can not coexist with modern culture.

That is frightening, right?

Not to our friends at the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Watch this video and see how CAIR spins the results of the Pew Poll.

If you don't believe what they say, they will make you write "It's just a tiny minority of extremists" on the chalkboard 1000 times.

You Have Got To Be Fucking Kidding Me ...

UPDATED at bottom of post

Listen up children, and repeat after me. "It's not bad or strange, it's just different."

Swedish journalist Kurt Lundgren had a noteworthy story on his blog this week. A
friend told him about a magazine published by Lärarförbundet, the Swedish
Teachers’ Union, the largest union for teachers and heads of schools in the
country. The magazine, aimed at preschool teachers who take care of children
between the ages of 0-6 years old, included recommendations to not only promote
“gender equality” but also “sexual equality” at this tender age.

Mr. Lundgren considers the suggestions that are sent out to kindergarten
and preschool staff to be clear-cut sexual abuse of children:“A three-year-old
doesn’t have to learn queer theory, a four-year-old shouldn’t have to be
force-fed lectures on gay sex by some sex freak from the Teachers’ Union.

Children are supposed to play and discover their roles entirely on
their own.
Children are defenseless and shouldn’t be exposed to
indoctrination, neither regarding sex nor politics.. (…)

One wonders whether parents are aware of the abuses against preschool
children that that Teachers’ Union’s magazine
is encouraging.”In a kindergarten in Stockholm, the parents were
encouraged by the preschool teachers - apparently ideological pioneers - to
equip their sons with dresses and female first names.
There are now weeks in some places when boys HAVE TO wear a dress.

Now, what you have to understand is I have friends who are gay, and friends who are into all sorts of alternative lifestyles. I don't care what adults want to do with their lives, as long as they aren't hurting others.

But, the idea of teaching children to shift back and forth between sex roles is just downright disgusting as far, as I'm concerned.

What next? Fun games you can play with you puppy?

Stuff like this makes me think the fucking Jihadis ought to just destroy our culture.
Jonz writes:
I find it slightly offensive when you say "just how far degeneracy has
gone in Europe" I know exactly what you mean but I can already feel the
anti-European Americans banging at the doors telling us how terrible we all are
and how we deserve terror attacks. Sorry for rant. Little too much

Degeneracy meaning inferiority is a word many Europeans would apply to
America. But I wouldn't fall into that trap ;) I know it's offensive. Most
Americans aren't dumbarse rednecks. In the same way most Europeans aren't
supportive of transgender roles in schools.

He's gotta be right about that. We have people pushing simiilar agendas in our public schools, yet I know few Americans who actually support such ideas.

Virginia Governor Kaine And MAS

Christine of Vigilant Freedom/910 Group Blog recently posted this piece, which delineates Virginia's governor's recent buddying-up with the Muslim American Society. Excerpt:
This last weekend, the Commonwealth of Virginia was signed over to the Muslim Brotherhood, care of the Muslim American Society (MAS). Tim Kaine must be hoping for a VP nomination from Obama - after all, if the Democrat Party presidential ticket needs a Southerner, he’d better prove his dhimmitudiness early in the game.

He gave the keynote speech at the local Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation dinner. A real team player, he’s just following Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) game plan from her Syria visit, and Steny Hoyer’s (D-MD) charm offensive with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. With very little effort, his staff could have researched the connections of the MAS to the Muslim Brotherhood and some extreme jihadist doctrine. We have to assume this is a choice, not a mistake....

The Brotherhood probably thought they wouldn’t get Virginia for another decade or two, but then they hadn’t planned on this level of help from Kaine.

Islamic Police of Iran: torturing youths in the street (II)

I can't stand this. And I can't stand what the MSM and Western firms are doing. The first by not showing these images or telling the world about the suffering of Iranian women in prison. The second, by negotiating undercover with the Islamic Republic because of oil.

As decent human beings let's weigh this out shall we? Are these veils more important than human suffering and dignity? Why is there such a profound importance placed on the wearing of the veil? For they are only pieces of cloth. Simple pieces of cloth. God forbid a lock of hair may be shown in public. Must not arouse the underlying repressed sexual desires of their menfolk. Though such a significance is placed on the wearing of the veil, that those who do not adhere to the strict ruling on the veiling of females in Iran, face arrest, and beatings when caught in the act mal-veiling.

NCRI, May 20, Tehran – A number of clashes have been reported in Tehran between regimes’ special police forces and young women following enactment of the new chastity plan by the Majlis (mullahs' parliament) and the campaign against women’s mal-veiling, reported the Iranian Women Society in Tehran.

The Society released a photo of a young women who had been badly injured by the regime's security forces.

A shop owner at the scene said: “The [regime] agents stopped three women between the ages of 25 to 30 for their nonconformity to the veiling measures. But their language was too rough making the women to react.”

Another eyewitness reports that in an argument between the people and the police, a mother and her daughter were beaten and their faces were covered with blood. They took their headscarf off in protest. It is said that they were using their mobiles to film agents attacking a women.

Disturbing is it not?

Iranian Interior Minister Mustafa Pour Mohammadi: "It is our duty to protect this most valuable cultural treasure."
What a lovely sentiment. Perhaps I am getting carried away. Or am I?
Fatima Mernissi, author of The Veil and the Male Elite expresses her opinion thus: "When I finished writing this book, I had come to understand one thing: if women's rights are a problem for some modern Muslim men, it is neither because of the Koran nor the Prophet nor the Islamic tradition, but simply because those rights conflict with the interests of the male elite." (Mernissi, 1991, p. ix).

Veiling and seclusion of women are a consequence of a patriarchal society. The issue of dress as a personal and political concern has implications for gender power and status in all cultures. Realizing this helps us understand why the Islamic patriarchy takes so much interest in the veil; in this context the veil is symbolic of a power struggle.
Of course that is what any of us with an ounce of human dignity, has known all along. The males are all about controlling the women. Must do all within their undeserving power, to keep women under their thumb, under their boot and in their place. Couple that fact, with their warped views on sexuality, ( Why else would islam promise 72 virgins as a reward for suicide??.) and folks as long as they are allowed to get away with this travesty of human justice and freedom. Iranian women and girls will suffer under the bondage of the islamic patriarchy. Exactly what the misogynist pigs thrive on.

And the veil will rule....

Maybe it is high time, that Iranian women band together and burn their veils, in a symbolic protest against this token of their subjection. Picture it, thousands of strong Iranian females across Iran, simultaneously creating massive bonfires, lighting the torch of their freedom.

Now that would be a sight for sore eyes...

A Swedish Hirsi Ali?

From Hip Hop Republican:

In a tall, blond government, a small, Burundi-born black woman like
Nyamko Sabuni - who is Minister For Integration and Equality and seeks to become
Sweden's first black prime minister - will stand out. It is also the former
refugee and center-right politician’s outspoken views that have demanded
attention in Sweden.

She wants a ban on the veil for under-15s
and compulsory gynecological checks for all schoolgirls to protect against
genital mutilation masquerading as “female circumcision”. Her views have led to
death threats and round-the-clock protection in Europe’s most tolerant

Being appointed minister provoked a petition signed by 50
Muslim organizations declaring that she “breathed populism and Islamophobia”.
Minister Sabuni, age 38, whose mother was a Muslim but who describes herself as
“not religious”, is unrepentant. “Arranged marriage is not something recommended
by Islam,” she said. “Nor is genital mutilation. Many people say this is our
tradition, our religion. But it is unacceptable, whatever the reason. I will not
be scared into silence. I will never accept that women and girls are oppressed
in the name of religion.”

Sweden has been good to Minister Sabuni. It welcomed her father and his
seven children as political refugees from Congo when she was 12. She studied at
Uppsala University, became a member of the Swedish Parliament at age 32, and
married a native Swedish travel agent with whom she has twin boys. Her views
were formed by the way that her Christian father found work quickly and helped
her family to integrate into Swedish life.

Minister Sabuni has never made any secret of her ambition to be
Sweden’s first black Prime Minister. Some see parallels between her and
Ayaan Hirsi Ali
, the Somali-born refugee who renounced Islam, became a
Dutch parliamentarian and spoke out against the religion, only to relocate in
the United States after a row about her asylum application. “We are
compared because we are both young, we are both black, we are both politicians,”
Minister Sabuni said. “The mission of Ayaan is to reform Islam. My mission is
not to reform Islam, my mission is to say that certain traditions are

Minister Sabuni believes that Sweden must move away from its generous
welfare benefits culture to improve social cohesion and ethnic integration as
well as boost the economy. Some also argue that this country of nine million has
already taken its fair share of immigrants, leading to the social tensions
behind Muslim rioting last month in Malmo.

Minister Sabuni believes that the solution is not fewer migrants but
more jobs. The Government pays as much as three-quarters of the starting salary
for an immigrant in his or her first job. In another very Swedish solution, she
is also pushing for a “Guarantee of Activities” program that will match the
jobless with useful social tasks, such as reading to pupils or helping the

She wants the rest of Europe to adopt the same generous approach to
asylum-seekers as Sweden, which has taken more Iraqis than any other European
Union country – an acceptance rate of 90% compared with Britain’s 12%. “They
come to Sweden because they know there is a positive policy. We would rather see
the EU start acting the way we do than we have to act like they do”, said
Minister Sabuni. Minister Sabuni added that her demand to ban the veil for
schoolgirls was a contribution to a debate that she believes that Sweden needs
before it reaches the same level of anxiety about ethnic integration as Britain.
“The mentality in Britain has been very tolerant and accepting but now you have
a problem that suddenly you realised, gosh, there are some values we have to
defend,” she said.

I'm not too sure about her ideas. Obviously, I like her economic ideas. I like the idea of pushing back against the veil, and against genital mutilation. However, I don't agree with her open door policy on immigration from Muslim nations. She says the answer is more jobs. But, there are more jobs in Britain. The Muslims who have been causing the trouble in Britain have generally been middle class to upper middle class.

But, she is definitely an improvement over other Swedish politicians.

The Sex-Obsessed World Of Islam

Muslims spend an inordinate amount of time and energy obsessing over sex, and figuring out ways to hide it away from themselves. Why are they so afraid of sex? Is it that Muslim men all have small penis' and thus, they are afraid of the humiliation which would come from a sexual encounter?

The men of Islam are obsessed with sex beyond even the wildest
imaginings of the Western male's mind. And the obsession is far from healthy and
even further from reality. We frequently joke about men's preoccupation with sex
and female body parts in the West, but our fascination with "T&A" is nothing
when you consider that the Muslim world is literally consumed by female
sexuality and with their fear of it.

It is ironic that both Muslim men and women are under the mistaken
impression that Western society is oversexualized compared to them, when in
fact, it is practically impossible to be more obsessed with sexual matters than
they are in Muslim communities.

Consider for a moment a culture that would prefer to let young girls
die in a burning building than to risk having them run out of said building not
clothed in properly modest dress; and tell me that such a society is less
preoccupied with matters of sex than we are in the West.

Enormous effort goes into veiling women, dressing women modestly,
silencing women, covering women's bodies, punishing women, controlling women,
reviling women, humiliating women, beating women, subjugating women, avoiding
the dishonor of women, keeping women uneducated, policing women, infantilizing
women--in short, dehumanizing women in every way possible -- all under the guise
of "protecting" and "honoring" them as they relegate them to animal-like

The women in this misogynistic Islam are brainwashed from birth into
thinking that this cultural preoccupation somehow is necessary and that it
"liberates" them in some bizarre manner.

Amazingly, this medieval culture has grasped the fundamentals of both
Orwellian and postmodern rhetorical rationalizations, that are so prominent in
certain intellectual quarters within our own culture! I have heard the canned
rationalizations coming from their lips of muslim women myself; and they all
claim that it frees them from having to be "sexual objects."

On the contrary, in Islamic society that is apparently the only role
open to women. That, and breeders for the jihad.

Go read the whole thing.

Lebanon vs Al-Qaeda and Fatah al Islam (II)

Un update on Lebanese situation, including the UN condemnation for disproportionate response to the Lebanese Army, the continuous attacks on aid convoys and the Fatah Al-Islam gunmen using Palestinians as human shields.

But as ever, the BBC does not dissapoint us, and does not mention the human shields nor states clearly who are the people to blame on the attacks on aid convoys.

Also the leader of the terrorist group was sentenced to death with Al-Zarqawi but released from jail and went to the Lebanese camp were he has been recruiting Palestinians and other Arabs for Chechenyan war.

Iranian police tortures youths in the streets and other items

After Ahmadinejad stated in Spanish Public TV that women's rights were more respeted in Iran than men's, now the police is torturing young people in the streets, whether men or women. The photos I have posted are only some of them. But are very representative of what happened.

At the same time, Iran is going to design a bycicle specially for women.

But the Iranian regime -with their persecution and crack down- specially on women -but not only-, has not received a single critic from feminists aroung the world.

Nor from PETA or any other organization that defends animal rights: they are "detaining" dogs and confiscating the cars where they carry a dog.

Al-Qaeda cells in Catalonia

According to Spanish leftist newspaper El Periodico de Cataluña, AlQaeda is recruiting lots of youths in Catalonia:

A person in charge of the Brigade of Information of the National Body of Police (CNP) -the speaker in question is Rodrigo Gavilán- talked about “a constant dripping” of resident Muslim volunteers in Spain who give themselves to yihad international. “Yearly, the number of Spanish mujahidines oscillates between the 30 and 40 people who disappear in radical surroundings or who are detected in Iraq or in route towards countries with terrorist campings“, affirmed.

The person in charge of a foreign secret service alerted that “Catalonia is the place of origin of many of them, due to the influence that radical salafi circles have in that region“.

The preeminence of Catalonia over other Spanish regions was specially clear, as in the last two years in Vilanova, Santa Coloma, Barcelona and Girona, three important networks of recruitment and shipment from young people to Iraq has been dismantled. After Catalonia, the other seed plots of radical islamists in Spain are mainly Madrid, Ceuta and Melilla.

The result? Every one wants to deny the real facts.

It's Just A Tiny Minority Of People Who Don't Want To Live In The Modern World

No need to worry. Most Muslims in the United States are just like other Americans. They want to work, make money, raise their kids, and uh, not live in the modern world:

Overall, Muslim Americans have a generally positive view of the larger
society. Most say their communities are excellent or good places to

A large majority of Muslim Americans believe that hard work pays
off in this society. Fully 71% agree that most people who want to get ahead in
the U.S. can make it if they are willing to work hard.

The survey shows that although many Muslims are relative newcomers
to the U.S., they are highly assimilated into American society. On balance, they
believe that Muslims coming to the U.S. should try and adopt American customs,
rather than trying to remain distinct from the larger society. And by nearly
two-to-one (63%-32%) Muslim Americans do not see a conflict between being a
devout Muslim and living in a modern society.

Quick, we need some French people and/or media intellectuals to squirt nuance all over this poll. Otherwise, I might start to get a bit concerned.

Muslim Americans reject Islamic extremism by larger margins than do
Muslim minorities in Western European countries. However, there is somewhat more acceptance of Islamic extremism in some segments of the U.S. Muslim public than others. Fewer native-born African American Muslims than others completely
condemn al Qaeda. In addition, younger Muslims in the U.S. are much more likely than older Muslim Americans to say that suicide bombing in the defense of Islam can be at least sometimes justified. Nonetheless, absolute levels of support for Islamic extremism among Muslim Americans are quite low, especially when compared with Muslims around the world.

A majority of Muslim Americans (53%) say it has become more
difficult to be a Muslim in the U.S. since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Most
also believe that the government “singles out” Muslims for increased
surveillance and monitoring.

Relatively few Muslim Americans believe the U.S.-led war on terror
is a sincere effort to reduce terrorism, and many doubt that Arabs were responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Just 40% of Muslim Americans say groups of Arabs carried out those attacks.

If only the pollsters had asked the Muslims who they think did carry out the 9/11 attacks. Well, I guess we don't really need to ask, right?

The Immigration Reform Bill: A Stunt As Big As Eurabia

What do you call it when the government subverts the will of the people?

Well, let's see; the people are the government, right?

So, that means if any entity takes control away from the people, they have performed a coup d'etat.

Our government is attempting to do that right now with this ridiculously "Immigration Reform Bill", which spans some 326 pages.

Vote in Charles poll.

And, check out these comments from Fjordman:

I'm not sure you Americans are aware of this, but American authorities
are copying the European Union here. The EU Constitution is deliberately written
so complicated, long and incomprehensible that you can bury huge changes in a
mass of technical detail. I have been warning you against this for some time
now. This is exactly how the EU was

I’ve been pondering how it was possible to pull off a stunt as
large as the creation of Eurabia. There are many reasons for this, not the least
the emotional scars in Europe following two world wars and the passivity bred by
generations of intrusive bureaucracy. But one major factor has undoubtedly been
the skillful manipulation of language employed by its creators. The key to
hiding something in an information society such as ours is not to ban mentioning
of it. Prohibitions only trigger human curiosity. It is rather to make it sound
innocent, vaguely benevolent and above all exceedingly boring, and then drown it
in the cacophony of noise and impressions we get bombarded with every single
day. Since most people have short attention spans, they will soon move on to
something else even if they have a vague idea of what’s going on. If you
implement your agenda gradually over many years and refrain from openly stating
your end goals, you can get away with quite a lot.

Through such methods, the EU has managed to do what nobody has been
able to do since the Roman Empire, and hardly even then: To unite most of the
European continent, from Spain to Romania and from Finland to Italy, in one
political entity. This was achieved by downplaying crucial information and
drowning the public in irrelevant information, and by boring people into
bureaucratic submission.

Our government officials thinks we are too stupid to understand anyway.

Women Suffer and Die Under Islam--But Germans Simply Cannot Be Bothered!

It's not just American feminists who are totally unfeeling towards women in Islamic countries. Basically, it's the entire West.

I am posting those pictures recurrently and will go on doing so until somebody will finally take notice. The background story is here.

In August 2004, Katajun Amirpur, one of the obnoxious pet-Persians of the German media showed in the Süddeutsche Zeitung real pride in the "progress" her native country is undergoing with the article "A less cruel execution". The article waxes emphatically about the success of the "European-Iranian human rights dialog", namely (I am not kidding!) that a 16-year-old girl will not be stoned to death, but rather hanged. Her crime? Pre-marital sex. Amirpur oozes pride when she writes that "the official age of marriage [which is coupled with the age of hangability]... after delicate negotiations between reformers and conservatives, was raised from 9 to 10 years".

That is a woman raised and educated in Germany with a professorship from a German university and this is a moment when I have to work really hard on my firm belief that an attitude like that is a matter of culture, not race.

Let's not forget Fariba Tajani-Emamqoli and all the other women and girls tortured to death in Iran.

Al Qaida in Lebanon

Again, there's a war in Lebanon, this time against an al Qaida cell operating in - guess where - a palestinian refugee camp. The Lebanese army clashed with them today:
TRIPOLI, Lebanon (AP) - Lebanese troops pounded a Palestinian refugee camp with artillery and tank fire for a second day Monday, raising huge columns of smoke as they battled a militant group suspected of ties to al-Qaida in the worst violence since the end of the 1975-90 civil war.

Nearly 50 combatants were killed in the first day of fighting Sunday, but it was not known how many civilians have been killed inside the Nahr el-Bared camp on the outskirts of the northern port city of Tripoli.

The battle was an unprecedented showdown between the Lebanese army and militant groups that have arisen in Lebanon's Palestinian refugee camps, which are home to tens of thousands of people living amid poverty and crime and which Lebanese troops are not allowed to enter.
That's why the al Qaeda was able to operate there!
The troops were fighting a group called Fatah Islam, whose leader has said he is inspired by al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden and was training militants for attacks in other countries. Lebanese officials have also accused Syria of using Fatah Islam to stir up trouble in Lebanon, a charge Damascus has denied.
They can deny all they want, but I wouldn't be surprised if Syria was behind any funding for this gang.

The Siren Song Of A Postmodern Itjihadi

M. Zudhi Jasser seems like a nice guy. He seems like a sincere guy. I know Pamela is going to have him on her show tomorrow night.

But, let me say this: It doesn't matter if Jasser is nice or sincere. His words are a Siren Song. His pretty words would lull us to sink beneath the waves.

Honestly, we can't afford to give credence to what this man says. Check it out:

We need the anti-Islamist Muslims

Most should understand that strategically, identifying ‘Islam as the problem,’ immediately alienates upwards of one quarter of the world’s population and dismisses our most powerful weapon against the militant Islamists—the mantle of religion and the pulpit of moderate Muslims who can retake our faith from the Islamists.

The majority voices in the middle, the non-Islamist and anti-Islamist Muslims who understand the problem, have to be on the frontlines. They cannot be on the frontlines in an ideological battle being waged, which demonizes the morality of the faith of Islam and its founder, the Prophet Mohammed. We cannot win this war only on the battlefield. Political Islam has a viral recurrence in the form of an infection which needs a Muslim counter-jihad in order to purge it. Thus, we cannot win this ideological war without the leadership of Muslim anti-Islamists. The radical and political ideologies of Islamism, Wahhabism, Salafism, Al Qaedism, Jihadism, and Caliphism, to name a few, cannot be defeated without anti-Islamist, anti-Wahhabi, anti-Salafist, anti-Al Qaedist, anti-Jihadist, and anti-Caliphist devout Muslims.

Sounds ok, so far, right? So now, let us watch as, inevitably, this nice Muslim man starts to lay the blame on non- Muslims:

So often, attempts by anti-Islamist Muslims to claim that our faith has been hijacked or our faith has been twisted are dismissed by non-Muslims. They simply take common interpretations of Wahhabis and say rather that, ‘it is the anti-Islamist Muslim who is deluded and who is misrepresenting the faith of Islam”. They use the citations of the militants from our Holy Qur’an’s scripture and from many authentic and questionable Hadith (discussions of the Prophet Mohammed) to marginalize moderate Muslims and claim that they have no theological framework from which to claim legitimacy.

The question remains-- who or what defines Islam, and under what authority?

Yes, I say that is the question. And, the answer is, Muslims define Islam. Non-Muslims observe Islsam. We can not shoulder the blame for the misunderstanding of Islam. If there were appreciable numbers of Muslims speaking out against Islamism and terrorism, then non-Muslims would feel differently. Let's look at more of Mr. Jasser's article:

The process of theological renewal and interpretation in the light of modern day thought—ijtihad—as it is known in Islam is in many ways hundreds of years behind Western enlightenment today arrested around the 15th century. This process can either be facilitated by non-Muslims or hindered by the belief that it is impossible. There is quite a bit to be said for the value of a necessary critical facilitation (nudging) of Muslim reform (as opposed to blind uncritical apologetics). But there is also a fine line between useful criticism of Muslims and especially of political Islam and the less than helpful alienation of all Muslims through criticism of the faith of Islam in general.

I'm still kind of buying it at this point. I'm not exactly digging the idea that non-Muslims are responsible for "alienating" moderate Muslims. The deafening silence of moderate Muslims is the single biggest reason I have become so "alienated" by Islam.

Believe me, right after 9/11, I was very concerned about the effect the disgusting Islamofascist attack was going to have on decent Muslims in general. (I was truly concerned that there would be an outbreak of violence against Muslims.) But, as the years have passed and decent Muslims have not stepped up and spoken out against Islamofascism in any organized fashion, I have found it harder and harder to believe that they care, honestly.

Now, I do appreciate the fact that Mr. Jasser is making an attempt to redefine Islam in a more moderate and decent way, but the fact is, this guy has a very small group of people who will stand with him. If I am not mistaken, his organization boasts less than 100 members throughout the United States.

Compare that to CAIR.

The fact remains, there is no moderate Muslim organization, government, media outlet, or academic institution, of any appreciable size, anywhere in the world.

But, as I say, I do appreciate Mr. Jasser's efforts, so let us look at how he proposes to redefine Islam:

Like most believers of any of the major world religions whether Jewish, Christian, or Muslim, I, as a Muslim believe that Islam carries the same messages of humanitarianism and compassion shared by the religions of the God of Abraham and deserves an equal place at the table of world religions and is not in conflict with our American Constitutional government.

It is important to be academic about this assessment and not assume that what appears to be the silence of the majority of Muslims equates to agreement with the Islamist leadership who exerts a stranglehold over the community.

Is Islam compatible with democracy? Can Muslims separate mosque and state? Can Muslims be anti-theocratic? Can Muslim behavior and thought today be consistent with modernity while so many current Muslim legal constructs enacted in the name of sharia law seem not to be? How do Muslims reconcile their history of an empire ruled by a Muslim Caliphate, an empire which had varying rules for its citizens based upon faith with today’s more pluralistic universal laws of American society blind to one faith? How do Muslims reconcile the plight of women’s rights in ‘Muslim’ societies with their faith and the West? Those are just a few of the questions so many thoughtful writers have tried to answer since 9-11.

Before embarking upon a discussion of any of those questions, which can fill texts, a more fundamental question remains concerning the central principles of any Muslim’s faith. Is the foundation of Islam as felt and practiced within each Muslim a moral one?

Before blanketing the faith of Islam as a threat to Americanism (religious pluralism), Americans first need to be able to separate Islam from Islamism and Islam from what some Muslims do.

From this spirituality, this goodness, then arises the character, which an individual carries to life and to our theological texts and their derived interpretations. While the body of laws available today may not all contain a modernized interpretation, it can certainly be modernized if the Muslims doing the modernizing are of sound moral conviction and integrity and education.

My family always taught me that a Muslim will not miraculously find his or her character within the pages of the Qur’an or Hadith. But rather, a Muslim’s interpretation of our holy text is through the lens of one’s established moral character, which is developed on a personal human level from within the soul and conscience not a textual one.

In other words, pay no attention to the maniacal prophet behind the curtain. Mr. Jasser proposes to rebuild Islam by canonizing his feelings of goodness.

That is not how Christianity nor Judaism, nor Buddhism, were built over the centuries. Rather, those three faiths were built upon scripture which is taken as sacred.

All institutions of goodness are founded on words which are taken as sacred. The United States is founded on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The judicial system is founded on laws which are to apply equally to everyone regardless of extraneous considerations. Hospitals are founded upon Mission Statements. Churches are founded upon Statements of Docrtine.

This is how it is done.

And yet, Mr. Jasser would like to have us believe we ought to throw away the only system which has ever been found to work, and take him at his word that the good feelings of the majority of Muslims can be substituted for a body of law and carry the Ummah forward in a positive direction.

This is a postmodernist concept of faith.

It will not work. Sorry, Mr. Jasser. Unless you come up with some better ideas, your Itjihad will only serve to forward the Jihadis ambitions.

Let's get serious.

UCI Muslims Have Been Given Green Light To Accost Law Enforcement Officials

That is my opinion, Infidels.
Check out this story and tell me these UCI Muslims aren't behaving in such a way that betrays absolutely no concern or fear of the law. Why would that be? Presumably, the Muslim Student Union would be concerned with portraying a positive image of Muslims. But no.

Instead, these Muslim students surround a FBI car and throw a cinderblock at it?
An FBI agent confronted by a Muslim student at the University of
California, Irvine, earlier this month was trying to get a closer look at a
“suspicious” truck at the time, federal authorities said Sunday.

The agent had followed the truck to the campus from a separate
location as part of an investigation that was unrelated to the school or student
activities, bureau spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said. “The investigation the
agents were engaged in had nothing to do with the UCI campus or student
activities there,” she said. [Why not? Monitoring the activities of radical
Islamic front groups is exactly what the FBI ought to be doing. —ed.]

The FBI’s response comes after a Muslim student said an agent
bumped him with his car near the site of an anti-Israel protest on May 14.
Yasser Ahmed, 21, said he noticed he was being followed by a car with blackened
windows as he drove a 24-foot moving van on campus to pick up an exhibit,
sponsored by the Muslim Student Union, that protested Israel policies in
Palestine. [Unbelievable. Speakers called Jews “Nazis,” called for jihad and
martyrdom, and spread sick antisemitic conspiracy theories and Holocaust
denial—and Bakersfield.com calls it “protesting Israel policies” in a
nonexistent country. Could they possibly be any more biased and misleading?

After he got out of the truck and asked the driver to identify
himself, he claimed the driver then revved the engine and began pushing Ahmed
back with the front bumper before driving off. ...
The FBI said the incident occurrent on a dead-end street after a group of people surrounded the car of one

“The agent blew his siren and used the cars PA system to warn” the
group, the bureau said in a statement. “At that point, it was clear that this was a law enforcement vehicle. At least one person threw or placed a cinder block under the law enforcement vehicle.”

Charles comments:

It’s astounding that the FBI let these students get away with this
outrageous behavior. Maybe it’s a result of all those CAIR-sponsored sensitivity
training sessions.

Yes, it is astounding, but it isn't surprising. This incident, like the Six Flying Imams Incident, betrays the Modus Operandi of Muslim organizations. They speak the language of human rights in order to soften up the authorities, and then behind the scenes (in my opinion) they instigate trouble, which the authorities will then feel helpless to react to as they have been tirelessly educated of the peaceful intentions of Muslim organizations.

The fact that they have now, in my opinion, moved on to instigating actual violent acts against law enforcement officials indicates that we are getting closer and closer to war.

That sounds like a paranoid conspiracy theory, doesn't it?

Well, perhaps, but the truth is the Muslim Student Association is a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, which functions as a political party promoting Jihad in Muslim nations throughout the world. Likewise, the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is a branch of Hizbollah, the Iranian-funded militant-political party operating our of Lebanon.

I believe it is clear that this is a coordinated attack.

Sooner of later, the Infidels are going to have to start pushing back, or our entire civilization will be routed.

But, I speak war when your hate is provokin'

Islamberg Not The Only Radical Muslim Compound Flourishing In North America

The two FBI types breaking bread with the enemy in the photo above at
"Islamberg" look right at home to Canada Free Press (CFP). Notice the weapons
these dudes are wearing at the dinner table?

Islamberg is just one of what is thought to be a half dozen radical
Muslim paramilitary compounds flourishing across the United States, this one
nestled in dense forest at the foothills of the Catskill Mountains on the
outskirts of Hancock, New York.

Canada, home to at least one such compound, is no safe ground.

Now that the photos of the two unidentified FBI types have been
published, we will undoubtedly hear that they were merely working undercover.
But some sticklers would consider saying cheese from the dinner table of the
enemy is over the top.

Hundreds of letters have deluged (CFP) since it published a story with
pictures of
Springtime in Islamberg, written by The Day of
Islam author Dr. Paul Williams with the able assistance of Doug Hagmann, Bill
Krayer and Michael Travis.

Many letter writers complain that local authorities are telling
them they have never heard of the compound.

Islamberg is an al Fuqra house. "Fuqra has had a disturbing U.S.
presence for more than 20 years." (The weekly Standard, March 18, 2002). "Today,
half a dozen Fuqra residential compounds in rural hamlets across the country
shelter hundreds of members, some of whom, according to intelligence sources,
have been trained in the use of weapons and explosives in Pakistan."

In a world where authorities make like terrorism doesn't exist,
Fuqra's founder and bossman, Sheikh Mubarik Ali Hasmi Shah Gilani, is not only
alive and wellÑhe has a road "Sheikh Gilani Lane" named after him. This road is
not in faraway Pakistan, but right in Charlotte County, Virginia.

Charlotte County is a rural farming community in Central Virginia
near the North Carolina border.

Like its counterpart in Hancock, New York, it is inhabited by proud
Americans many whose sons and daughters are fighting for our freedom in Iraq.

"This is not only an embarrassment to the citizens of
Charlotte County it is a disgrace to the entire country and an insult to the
victims of 9/11 and those fighting overseas in the war against terrorism," wrote
Martin Mawyer, president of the Christian Action Network.

"Sheikh Gilani has rubbed shoulders at international terrorist
confabs with gunslingers from Hamas and Hezbollah, their mullah backers, and
Osama bin Laden. And he has trained fighters for the battlefields of Kashmir,
Chechnya and Bosnia." (the weekly Standard).

Dropping in on radical Muslim paramilitary compounds isn't good for
your health. Two bloggers who posted the plucky Williams' Islamberg story had
their lives threatened.

Most infidels, including even the local undertaker, are denied
access to compounds such as Islamberg.

Indeed, the very undertaker denied access wrote a letter telling
the author/journalist he was surprised he made it off the compound with his life

The undertaker says he has delivered bodies to the complex but has
yet to be granted entrance. "They come and take the bodies from my hearse," he
told Williams. "They won't allow me to get past the sentry post. They say that
they want to prepare the bodies for burial. But I never get the bodies back. I
don't know what's going on there but I don't think it's legal."

As far as is known, Gilani launched his first U.S. operation
without interference from any authority back in 1980.

By the 1990s, Fuqra's communes were being touted as havens where
Muslim convertsÑmany of them inner-city blacks, sometimes recruited in
prisonÑcould find new direction for their lives.

Why aren't people reading about these flourishing compounds in
their hometown newspapers?
Does it require too much work for the mainstream
media, or do politically correct times keep the topic taboo?

You'd think that these compounds would be a priority for Homeland
Security, but they aren't.
One of the letters to Williams via CFP was from a
member of Homeland Security asking for more information!

It seems to be politically incorrect to write about radical Muslim
paramilitary compounds flourishing on American soil and politically incorrect to
talk about terrorism.

For some American and Canadian citizens, it's welcome to life with
a deadly enemy living right next door.

Springtime For Infidels

I see some posting going on here, so I can resist adding this one. If you're offended, too bad!

(Click on the photos to enlarge them)

I took this photo (unedited) a few weeks ago. This azalea bush sits very near our front porch and is over six feet in height. Don't ask me why it grew so well. I didn't do a think for it except water it. In the spring, the azalea, the wisteria, and the black locust all bloom at the same time, providing a delicate scent to the breezes.

"But, AOW," you ask, "why did you mention infidels in the title of this posting? Springtime comes for all."

Yes, but at this house...(Scroll down)
