UK funpark's "Muslim only day" was a flop

Now this is good to hear. The Sun's reported that the planned "event" at Alton Towers' amusement park in Britain has been called off because they couldn't get enough attendants to come:
A MUSLIMS-only day at Britain’s biggest theme park has been axed after a huge bookings flop.

Organisers Islamic Leisure had hoped to attract 28,000 people to the event at Alton Towers, Staffs, on September 17 — but less than 1,000 tickets were sold.

The fun day — exclusively revealed by The Sun — caused a race row after plans to ban mixed-sex rides, smoking, alcohol and gambling.

Non-Muslims were angered by the plans.

An Alton Towers spokesman said last night: “At least the park will be open to the general public.”
There's one propaganda bias in there about a "race row" but other than that, this is certainly relieving news. If those nasty Islamists are going to just force their way in on other people's pleasures, then they deserve none themselves.

A flop, huh? Such events here in the States often draw a sizeable crowd. Maybe the UK fun park is haram for strict Muslims?
