What do we know and what do we need to?

Last night we had dinner with 5 or 6 other couples, who would be considered 'knowledgable' in a general across the board kind of way. We had a cardiologist and his wife who organizes seminars for a nearby medium size university, a dinner%20party%20est.jpghusband and wife counseling team, twin (husband and wife) emergency room people, Phd in a physiological research area (not certain which one) and his wife who is a college prof, and the high school principle and his wife, a librarian. Not an uneducated crowd, to say the least.

We've had dinner with these people before, and they are very nice people, and funny. Politically, comments about Bush's intelligence (lack of) went chucklingly un-challenged. Which had me wondering if my nom de plume, perhaps, should be Attila. At the local level we disagree on very little. But last night we finally hit politics HARD through the Israel portal.
