Never say things cannot get worse

Firstly, about the cartoons, from Denmark, we have acknowledged that the top prosecutor is not going to press charges against the Jyllands Posten. But there are also bad news: a French MP has called for limitations on the free press as a consequence -he says- of the cartoons, and the EU is going to review the school textbooks for intolerant depictions of Islam and other faiths. The problem is that they are only going to be reviewed by Islamic leaders, and that the term "intolerant depictions" is not very concrete at all. The Finnish FM has also expressed that he agrees with Abdullah Gül, Turkish FM and the first serious death treat has been done against the Manifesto signers.

Also in Turkey there has been another attack against a Catholic Priest, this time a friar. The attack has not been even named in the Turkish press that has published the "reason" of the attack: the attacker was accusing the church of prostituting boys with girls. The scheme is similar to the treatment the Turkish press gave the death of Father Santoro.

In Britain, there are people (the first ones) detained because of the demonstration of "behead-those-who-insult-Islam". Also a newspaper has accused some members of the 9/11 Commision of taking bribes from Pakistani officials to prevent them from including damaging information about Pakistan (I do not know if this is true or not...). Lastly, one of the falling men of the 9/11 terrorist attacks has been identified. Meanwhile, the UN does not have a consensus over the definition of terrorism.

Hamas has repeated that they reject the two state-road map (at the end of the link) and the Palestinian Authority is going to award a terrorist with the Honorary Citizenship. That does not matters at all: the EU is going to transfer $ 143 million to the PA.

Lastly, less than a third part of the originally accused in the Summary (preliminary hearing) will be formally accused by the Judge about the Madrid Bombings.
