Erekat's opponent, 36-year-old Khaled Rai, is backed by Hamas, the Islamic terrorist group poised to make a strong showing against Erekat's Fatah Party in Jan. 25 elections. ...
Across Judea, Samaria and Gaza, Hamas is closing the gap. A survey published Wednesday indicated 31 percent voter support for Hamas, compared to 35 percent for Fatah. It's a 10-point gain for Hamas from a month ago.
Mixed emotions, indeed. A defeat for Fatah calls for celebrations and a toast. A victory for Hamas is a waking nightmare.
Erekat's Jericho seat in the "Palestinian Parliament/Politburo" had been considered safe for Fatah. No any more. Saeb, bald, beardless, and soft as a warm turd in his fitted grey suits faces a more sincere and serious man. His Hamas opponent, Rai,
lost the three middle fingers of his right hand while handling explosives in 1990, during the first Palestinian uprising. He has since served time in Israeli and Palestinian prisons for militant activity, and spent a year in Lebanon after being exiled by Israel.Erekat has less than two weeks to weasel his way out of this. He'll probably pull it off but Fatah as a whole is in deeper trouble.
According to the Bir Zeit poll, Hamas would win an overwhelming majority in the three largest districts, Gaza City, Hebron and Nablus, where 23 of the 132 parliament seats are up for grabs.If Erekat and Fatah lose to Hamas, look for Saeb along with his wife and children to go into exile in a nice Western country. You can bet he doesn't want to get any shrapnel on his suits (much less in his children's gums). But regardless of this election, it's over for Fatah. They're yesterday's news, a relic from the '60s kept on life support by the "international community". They're fading from the scene, not to be missed or mourned.

Islamic killers international sliced off the teacher’s head as his wife and eight children were forced to look on.
It was in Afghanistan where Muslim murderers global still sneak in to do their horrendous deeds in the name of the Koran’s Allah.
This is just another murder in a litany of killings against instructors in Afghan schools where females study. Killers are intent on females not being educated as males.
Malim Abdul Habib was stabbed eight times, then his head was cut off in the courtyard of his home in Qalat, according to AP.
The killers forced his wife and four sons and four daughters to stand in the open to see the atrocity. The children range in age from 2 to 22.
Muslims consider murdering non-conforming Muslims necessary in order to keep the legalistic Islamic rules. It is pleasing to Allah. Therefore, Muslims killing Muslims is not a crime in such a context. It in fact is imperative and those Muslims cowardly not entering into the murder scene are apt to be slain as well.
The teacher, 45, would not stop teaching female students. He told the community that his calling was to teach—males and females. For that, he was slain.
"Habib was the headmaster of Shaikh Mathi Baba high school, which is attended by 1,300 boys and girls."
Muslim murderers global believe that in order to achieve Islam world rule, the non-education of females must be worldwide. Therefore, they begin village by village to see through their creedal dictate. That will eventually form the "pure" Islamic state.
Only the legalistic Islamics are against female education. Others in Afghanistan are for girls being educated.

"He said 100 of the province's 170 registered schools have been closed in the past two to three years because of poor security. Of the 35,000 students attending schools in Zabul, 2,700 were girls, he said.
"There has been a series of attacks on girls' schools and teachers across Afghanistan since the Taliban regime fell. In October, gunmen killed a headmaster in front of his students at a boys' school in southern Kandahar province, the former stronghold of the Taliban regime."
In the meantime, there are those who actually believe that worldwide there will be integrating of Muslims into non-Muslim cultures wherever the Muslims decide to find citizenship. But they don’t often assimilate. Take Europe for example.
In Europe’s Muslim low class, youth have felt ostracized, irritated, and resentful, according to Peter Elsworth, former editor for Reuters and New York Times, now editor at Providence Journal.
Therefore, they take pride in being Muslim for an identity hook. Further, being Muslim means community in that more Muslims throughout Europe, particularly in Britain, go to the mosque regularly than those claiming to be "Christian" attend worship at the local church. Therefore, for the Muslim he has his own cluster. Why then integrate?
As Muslims look on at the so-called Christian sector, they consider them secular in practices. Then that leads the Muslims to conclude them to be decadent for their religion doesn’t mean anything or little to nothing. All the while the Muslims keep close to their mosques and daily prayers. Why then integrate with the irreligious?
Further, Islam is eventually to be world rule. There is no other deity than the Koran’s Allah. "God is great." And that God is the Koran’s Allah. Why integrate with that which is someday going to be come subservient?
Consequently, even when Muslims are murdering a supposed adulteress by placing her body in a hole, covering her up to her breasts with dirt, then slamming rocks against her head, they shout "God is great. God is great."
Even in their slaughter of their own, they acknowledge their deity. Even in seeing blood fly skyward from a female’s skull, they acknowledge their deity. Even when hammering away at the helpless female, they acknowledge their deity.
It’s all perverse, but it’s considered "religion." In actuality of course it is a devilish killing cult, not a religion for no other world religion demands that those who are not devotees be slain or made slaves. Islam demands that of non-Muslims.
However, with such atrocities condoned by deity, why integrate?
"With 15 million to 20 million Muslims living in Europe, it is too late to turn attitudes around overnight," Elsworth states.
Moreover, Elsworth states that there are those Muslims who are nothing but petty criminals: "It is one thing for politicians to seek moderation; it is another for embittered young Muslims, some of whom are petty criminals from urban and suburban slums, to rally round the establishment when militant leaders offer delinquency in the name of religion."
With many Muslim nations two thirds 30-years-of-age and under, it is a gamble as to whether these young people want democracy and personal freedoms or want criminal behavior. Those who want liberties, champion rebelling against the despotism. Those who are quite willing to bash in heads and blow up buildings don’t care about planting a democracy. All they want is to bash in a head and blood up a building, hence the "petty criminals." So how can that element integrate with a civilized surrounding?
Islam as a cult is based on blood letting. Either Muslims kill one another or they kill non-Muslims. For them to kill one another because of something in the Koran agreeing with same, then no crime has been committed. If they kill non-Muslims as "infidels" then there is surely no crime committed.
Consequently, all sorts of crimes are committed by Muslims every day in European countries and elsewhere but the criminals don’t regard themselves as criminals. They are hyper-religionists. They are the aligned of the aligned when it comes to loyalty to Allah.
Why then integrate with a people who never would agree to that?
Elsworth states: "Certainly, the London bombings this year and the Madrid bombings and the killing of van Gogh last year – to say nothing of the recent riots in France – are changing attitudes across Europe, with the growth of a number of right-wing nationalist political parties.
"But it may be too late to take a hard line to preserve the status quo. Given the high birth rate among the Muslims in Europe – three times that of the mainstream populations, by some estimates – the continent could become predominantly Muslim by the end of this century.
"An astonishing thought, to be sure. But if history teaches us anything, it is that the kind of political stability the world experienced with the Cold War balance of power does not last forever."
Along with not integrating, Muslims immigrating elsewhere make certain they are protected by the laws of freedom-based nations.

As I read this paragraph, I thought to myself: Muslims have organized their own agencies within America. They have held their national conventions. They have their own officers and literature.
Now they are stating that Muslims in the USA are to work against hate speech: ". . .report all kinds of hate speech and hate crimes. . "
Now that would obviously say to me as a law-abiding American who seeks the safety of this nation against Islamic killers international that I protest hate speech and hate crimes instigated by Muslims. Wherever they are, such are to be protested.
Why then do not the Muslims in the USA broadcast nationally daily their own disgust with "hate crimes and hate speech" from their own Muslim counterparts elsewhere on the planet? And when such is evident in the US, why is there not immediately an overwhelming protest from all Muslims in America?
It is because that paragraph above is sited for Muslims to watch out for hate speech and hate crimes set upon them. And them alone.
That is where their own counsel to their own people is terribly flawed.
That paragraph is set forth on their site to program Muslims to fight against any "Islamophobia" in America. One could read into the paragraph further that Muslims are to protest any mention against Islam, including truth telling about the killing and torture passages in the Koran, sleeper cells planning the overthrow of this country, and the use of mosques for training centers to overcome our freedoms.
In other words, I don’t trust the motives of the Muslim web site. I don’t trust their language. I don’t trust their conventions or their literature or all their talk about peace and community.
Why, if they are so intent on working against hate speech and hate crimes are not Muslims in America putting down the Iranian President who lashes out with his diatribes against Jews? Why are not Muslims in America speaking out against atrocities in Indonesia instigated by Muslims against Christians and their churches? Why are not Muslims in America speaking out against the bombings throughout the world, such set loose by Muslims? And one of course one could on and on and on.
These, in other words, are hate crimes and hate speech incidents in the USA and throughout freedom-based countries that need Muslims in the USA to protest against them. Why the awesome silence from Muslims in the USA?
Because that paragraph is placed on that site to teach Muslims how to fight against any so-called negative statement regarding Islam in American literature, via American newscasts, and so forth. It is to instruct Muslims to protest hate speech and hate crimes targeted in what they presume against them and not hate speech and hate crimes targeted against non-Muslims worldwide.
Is there is an obvious bias then in the Muslim agenda? Obviously so.
Yet there are those organizations, such as Oxfam, that seek to civilize Muslims.
According to (Pakistan) Daily Times, International Oxfam will try to squelch female Muslims being murdered by the males in their clans.
"Honor killing" goes on daily. It happens when an Islamic male decides that a Muslim female has dishonored in some way the clan. The murderer may be the female’s husband, father, brother, uncle or whomever. The "dishonor" may be real or fabricated. The slaying may be by bullet through the head, neck slit or whatever.
Females in Islam are considered to be cursed by the devil from conception. They are conceived with ten curses akin to showing in public their privates. If the female marries, one curse is lifted. The other nine remain.
Females in Islam are considered worse than waste material. That is why they are garbed from head to foot. If an ankle shows, a male Muslim may beat the offending female.
There are Muslims who contest this explanation and definition of honor killing. Those who do are sheltered or misinformed or very much Westernized Muslims who know not what is going on in the real Muslim world daily and
Muslims who don’t read the Koran from cover to cover. If you are one of those, please do not email me protesting the truth of what is in this column.
The fact is that as I type somewhere a Muslim female is being slain by a male relative. She has brought some disgrace, real or imagined, upon the clan and so her life must be extinguished.
Now International Oxfam says this has to go. But it will be very difficult. Those who consider the "honor killing" barbaric hope that Oxfam’s efforts are more than speeches and declarations to give the organization some sort of commendation recognition..
According to the press release, Oxfam "will launch a campaign in seven district of the NWFP to end honor killings."
The seven districts are Swat, Swabi, Charsadda, Mardan, Nowhsera, Peshawar and Kohat. They exist in Pakistan. Oxfam hopes that the educational program will reach throughout South Asia.
The campaign has already been initiated in six districts of Balochistan.
"The (Oxfam) speakers urged the need to develop an alliance of change makers and activists at tehsil, district and provincial levels to address issues, such as women being murdered by the male members of their family or close relatives to restore the family’s honour.
"Dr Arif Mehmood, the representative of Oxfam, said that the campaign was targeted at South Asian countries which had chosen their own social and cultural conditions.
"The speakers said that cultural traditions were hard to break."
Of course, that is the understatement of the year.
